Population () Millstreet (Sráid an Mhuilinn in Irish) is a town in north County Cork, Ireland with a population of approximately 1,500. It is located at the foot of Clara Mountain. The town's Catholic church is dedicated to St. Patrick. Since October 1985, the town has been twinned with Pommerit-le-Vicomte in Brittany, France. In July 2006, Millstreet hosted the 29th European Juggling Convention. Over 2,000 jugglers from 40 different countries attended the week-long event. Steve Collins twice fought in Millstreet for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) super middleweight boxing championship.

Green Glens Arena

One of the largest equestrian centres in Ireland is located in Millstreet, named the Green Glens Arena. A part of the centre is a large centre for shows and exhibitions. It hosted the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest, in which Ireland won with Niamh Kavanagh. In December 2007 it hosted the John Deere show, in which Deere & Company unveiled new agricultural machinery. Transport

The town is situated on the Mallow–Killarney–Tralee line of the Irish railway network. Millstreet railway station opened on 16 April 1853 and closed for goods traffic on 6 September 1976.[1]
