Drakesboro is a city in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 627 at the 2000 census. Incorporated in 1888, the city was named for early pioneer William Drake.[1]

Geography

Drakesboro is located at 37°13′2″N 87°3′1″W / 37.21722°N 87.05028°W / 37.21722; -87.05028 (37.217274, -87.050169)[2]. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²), all of it land.
