Sugar Daddies are more than just boyfriends–they are mentors, benefactors, and best friends. As a Sugar Daddy, you have the chance to do more than just fall in love–you have an opportunity to forever change a life. Follow these tips to become the Sugar Daddy she has always been looking for…

Learn to better yourself and your “sugar” with these tips.

1.) Never Sugar Coat

When asked for an opinion, nine boyfriends out of ten will use the generic “You look good,” even when they feel the opposite. Nothing is ever gained from playing it safe—better yourself and your relationship by expressing yourself honestly. For example, “I like that outfit, but I prefer your black dress because it compliments your legs better.”

This answer proves two things: You care about her, and you pay attention to her.

By expressing yourself honestly, your Sugar Baby will learn to confide in you more often, with matters more important than just the wardrobe.

2.) Listening Skills

Selfish boys tune out their girlfriends, while real men listen. Knowing your Sugar Baby past “face value” is always a recipe for a healthy, long-term relationship. And how is this mutual understanding established? By listening. Women find attentiveness attractive simply because it makes them feel valued. So next time you’re out to dinner, try this exercise: look at her intently, listen, and then speak. Then repeat. It’s that easy. Plus, no man likes to hear the quintessential complaint: “You never listen to me!”

3.) Lead by Example
Sugar Babies do more than just date you—they look up to you as a role model. Your wealth and success are living proof of hard work and dedication coming to fruition. Share personal advice and anecdotes—the more tips, the better. Who knows, your insight could potentially be life-changing.

4.) Dynamic Duo

Expand your horizon past the traditional dinner dates and trips–after all, this is no traditional type of relationship. Take charge of your relationship and surprise your Sugar Baby with a unique experience. It can be as soothing as a couples spa or as extreme as a tandem skydive–the possibilities are endless. Unlike “dinner and drinks,” these experiences create shared memories that will forever be cherished.

5.) A Dream Come True

If she wants to become an actress, then take her to a casting call. If she wants to become a chef, then take cooking classes together. Actively supporting her aspirations prove that you are invested into a much deeper and more meaningful relationship. Trust us, she will return the favor and find ways to thank you.

What are some other ways to better yourself as a Sugar Daddy?

    All personalities and perspectives are welcome in this blog, while personal attacks and name calling are not. It’s inevitable that there will be disagreements, but let’s handle it as mature adults with class to keep the dialog constructive and respectful. Please refer to “Blog Etiquette” on SeekingArrangement blog for more details.

  2. Tina says:

    WHOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO! I have good timing!

  3. Tiffy says:

    I just talked to someone who should definitely read this blog. -.-

  4. Treasured says:

    I think the main thing how to be a good Sugardaddy is stick to your words and deliver your promises.
    If you can’t do that – don’t promise. I am not asking for the moon and the sun, but if you mention about it, of course I will hope. And then just a big great disappointment gets in, when you can’t deliver.

  5. gtt_envy says:

    My only advice is deliver!! I remember when I couldnt travel to see her one month at all. Normally we hung out every two weeks…….I didnt see her for 6!!! She still received her full allowance and I felt so bad I bought her two tickets to a musical and a two spa days for her and her roomie…….just to try to make it ok.

    Deliver!!

  6. sweetT says:

    Lucky for those SBs who have real SDs in their lives. I don’t ask, I don’t request someone to be who they are not…. I didn’t take all the chances to meet all the SDs who wanted to meet me from this SA but it’s been a few months… I haven’t met my real SD yet! Still hoping…. Maybe one day he’ll come!!!

  7. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    In my opinion being respectful and keeping your word are two of the most important things that makes a good SD which goes with all the other comments that make a even better SD.

    Hope everyone is well.

  8. flyr says:

    Separate the sugar from your time together, let it happen in the background (generally after the first event)

    Treat your first time with your new SB as the very special event it is…….

  9. Beach_Girl says:

    Hello Sugars!

    My advice: Don’t play games, we all know why we are here. Be as honest as you can. Keep sugar sweet, no drama. As flyr said, keep sugar separate when with you SB… Make it special, I don’t want to feel like a booty call or an escort. Deliver what you said you would.

    Not only listen but question your SB…Mentor without making her feel like a dummy..
    It’s about having a great experience for both, so talk about wants and don’t wants etc…

    Well back to work for me…
    Have a great day sugars

  10. me says:

    I’m out of the subject, but there is something that bothers me.
    Since about two months, there are a lot of new sugardaddies on the site. Sorry to say it that way, but a very low quality sugardaddies. Men who really don’t have a clue of nothing….
    I know that Seeking arrangement made a lot of publicity and I have read somewhere that they were diffirents and were attracting a nice kind of men in part because they don’t do their pub on porn sites.
    However, I have ask to some of those new ”sugardaddies” where they heard about the site and their answer are always not precise and they look kind of shy even ashame when I try to bring the subject.
    What was differencing this site from match or whatever other site (outside of the money component) was that we could generally meet people here who are able to spell, who understand a bit more to the women-men relationship than ”penis into vagina”, who were gentlemen, had a personality above average, an understanding of the world above average, a certain depth to their thoughts and a minimum level of culture. Well, those things are really missing in the ”new” sugardaddies (specialy in my city). So I wonder where SA made their publicity. Anybody else has observed the same thing?

  11. SassyInMass says:

    Communicate! And clearly! Dont text me ‘someth happened. text u in 5min’ when you know Im already enroute to come meet you. Use that text to say youre running late or may not make it. And seeing as you *did* say youd text me in 5min, be sure to do that! Dont have me sitting in a restaurant not knowing if youre even coming. Super rant! Roundtrip cabfare: $32. Lonely lunch for one: $17. Spending my afternoon feeling like a stood up loser: Priceless!

  12. gtt_envy says:

    @SassyinMass, obviously he was a flake, but like I said if you are a SD and miss a date, hang out time, or etc I always compensate. Send a groupon, travelzoo deal, moneygram, something just so she knows I want her to have a good time that day/night even if I’m not with her.

  13. Tina says:

    @ GTT_Envy: you’re such a sweetie, hopefully you’ll find the SB that rocks your bedroom world ;)

  14. VASD says:

    There was mention of a Caribbean party and Tobago over on the ‘Sex Tips’ train. One of my very favorite places is the windward islands–St Vincent and the Grenadines, Bequia in particular. Very remote, very quiet….reeeeee-laaaaaxxing…

  15. Tina says:

    @VASD: I’m jealous; I’ve always wanted to travel there :(

  16. RussianSB says:

    @VASD As I remember, I did start your carrebean dream wondering, can I claim to be invited ? Or I am babe-blogger yet ? And my profile has ”travelling to Carrebean pirate rootes” . But I have a feelings… that I will be sooner there than the party :))
    How to be the best daddy ? Nobody teach you that, but I see the rule – new man try to do everything better than ex one. Jewels presents is example, you never will recieve watch or ring worse quality than you already have (how vulgar I am , hehe). I mean men try to be adequate to level you used to, and they are really nice to pay attention to that small details … And it is also not adequate expectations, when some student, never spoiled in her life, always have some urgent money problems, declare 10 k monthly budget, while she will be happy (urgent money problems) with 1-3 k.
    Anyway, I will step in everytime Carrebean word mentioned.

  17. AbabySB says:

    Q to all experienced out there – Would Skype be recommended or always necessary?

    Also not relevant, this pot, very young, but barely has time for any love life SD – we’ve been talking a lot and although he said he wanted to meet, and we shared a lot of jokes in emails, gave out really short answers or shy way on the couple of times I mentioned skype, or any further communication other than email. I don’t think I’m being too forward am I?
    We exchanged pics, and although I believe he’s genuine, it slightly concerns me about this issue. Apart from that he is absolutely perfect, and I’d like to believe that it’s due to his high pressured work life that makes him so cut throat. (It’s just his personality maybe?) I have such high hopes for this guy, because I’ve finally met someone I’m genuinely attracted to, and see us becoming something.
    We’ll just have to see when we meet. I suppose. But fingers crossed. (please god) xx

  18. California SB says:

    It really bothers me when a SD promises an X amount and after a few weeks, tries to bargain saying the economy this and that. I mean, if you can’t afford it, then don’t even start the freakin’ arrangement. If I ask for X I want X, no Y, not Z.

  19. California SB says:

    Zumba instructor charged with running a prostitution ring. Great, now every guy is gonna think that all the hotties in the zumba class are whores….

  20. RussianSB says:

    CaliforniaSB – that old game have nothing to do with economy. The interest is slow down and sugar also. The second reason – bussnessmen are addicted dealers, they enjoy negotiate, even if you don’t want to discuss money questions (I never do,I don’t need it, I know caliber of men I am dating with) . Oh, they do love it – why not entertain your SD that way, having two hours discussion about money,economics, and crisis – global one and your personal :))

  21. California SB says:

    Russian, I rather do way more interesting things with him than discussing the scope of my allowance during this current economic climate… :P

  22. RussianSB says:

    I told you, Dear, sometimes they want drama talks better than boomboom !

  23. California SB says:

    Russian, funny you say that…. they DO love to talk! I feel like… dude, if I wanted to talk I would call my mom. LOL LOL

  24. California SB says:

    If a guy says on his profile “must be able to hold a conversation” behold… he is a talker and not much of anything else. And usually that’s a warning sign the c*ck is not that good either.

  25. Jessie says:

    Good evening everyone.

    @Grasshopper – Hopefully I didn’t miss your special day…if I did though, I hope it was spectacular. If it’s around the corner, may it be absolutely amazing ;).

    @Content – Are you staying out of trouble? Not that I expect to hear, “yes”…lol

    @AM – Are you back from your trip? Hope you’re doing well.

  26. Tina says:

    @Jessie: is Content ever OUT of trouble to stay out of it? ;)

  27. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    Hope the rest of your day has been good. You make any good food today? Never should have let a big boy know you can cook :(

    @me
    The bad apples have been here. You just can’t let them spoil the bunch. Get out there and kiss those frogs, only way to find your prince. And, by the way, I hate when people criticize spelling and then totally hack up their grammar. I’m sure you were just passionate and in a hurry when you wrote your post. For a while I would see like 1 in 20 profiles where someone wrote “I am intelligant.” It always made me shake my head.

    @CaliforniaSB
    Have no fear. Even if you did turn a gym into a brothel, some guys still won’t ever make it to the gym. Also, it is nice to have someone that can hold a conversation. Sometimes it takes a couple mins to reload the cannon. Besides, even I can’t go non-stop for 24 hrs full motion. While we’re not in the bedroom it’s a good time to find out her name, and if she does this “new Zumba” professionally or just recreationally.

  28. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: no dear, no good food made yet this weekend. It was a little bit of a busy day, and I still have food left over from the LAST time I cooked :) I will most likely cook on Friday – any requests? I think I’m going to play with some fried chicken, see if I can get the heat and flavor I’m looking for. And some mashed taters made with heavy cream and a little garlic…..

  29. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    Requests? Take a piece of paper. Write the word “MENU” at the top. Place it on the floor. Stand on this piece of paper. Now you’re on the menu, and I’ll take it raw. Don’t worry, you’ll be well-done before I finish eating. (This must be the corniest line I’ve used so far. I simply couldn’t resist. I dunno if I’ll ever get a chance to use that one again, but maybe that’s for the best.LOL)

  30. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: ok, I’m standing naked on the menu, where are you? ;)

  31. ContentSB says:

    @Tina — Nope! You know me well ;) I need a life update soon :)

    @Jessie — Nothing too crazy is going on in my life. I finally moved into my own place on Saturday so I’ve been busy settling in since then. I’m contemplating joining a nudist colony so I never have to unpack clothes/do laundry ever again. What a pain! I went on a date with an age appropriate single guy who fed me a ridiculous amount of lines about how amazing i am/how i’m exactly what he’s been looking for/how excited he was about our potential….and then he literally vanished the next day. So, thank God I didn’t sleep with him. Plus, the entire time I was thinking about Mr. Married, so his disappearance is probably a good thing. What sorts of trouble have you gotten into lately??!

  32. Tina says:

    @Content: I’ll send you one tomorrow. Promise! And have you been spying on my dates lately? Because that scenario, except for the vanishing part, sounds WAY too familiar…..EEEEESH! Nudist colony at my place! :)

  33. ContentSB says:

    @Tina — Glad I’m not the only one with stupid dating problems! Can’t wait to hear about yours! Also, don’t be surprised when I show up at your door, totally naked, ready to join the nudist colony. I think your door mat should say menu just so @JaTSD could be in SB heaven.

  34. Tina says:

    @Content: hell, let’s just spray paint MENU on the carpet, that way JaTSD can have his pick anytime………

  35. ContentSB says:

    @Tina — Yup, that’s a much better plan!

    Any apple product nerds around here? My iPhone 4 decided to randomly die today with seemingly no hope for a resurrection. I’ve tried resetting it to no avail. It doesn’t recognize any chargers (wall, car, or computer). Am I totally effed? My cell phone provider said I am…but I’m hoping she’s a dirty liar. I’m not due for an upgrade until Nov. 25th and a basic talk/text phone is $200…how insane is that?!

  36. Sugar says:

    @Content SB: Did you use like a cheap USB charger for your iPhone when that happened? I had a similar situation with one of those cheap iPhone chargers from the mall kiosks and it put all these crazy letters and numbers on my screen. I have an iPhone 4 as well that my number 1 SD got me when it first came out and I am due for an upgrade in 3 days. Hello iPhone 5 :)

    Maybe check CL for a used phone untill your upgrade?

  37. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina and @ContentSB
    I wouldn’t want you to use spray paint on your carpet, my dear. We could simply write over the logo on my Twister mat. It was custom-made for exactly 3 people, and also fits perfectly on a king-sized bed. (That way even if you lose, you win.) I wouldn’t want anyone to have to stand for too long. Of course, only I would order a twister mat that’s ribbed…for her pleasure. ;)

  38. SD Guru says:

    @ContentSB

    Did you try holding the home button and power button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds? That will usually wake up a dead iphone. If not, I’m sure your SD can get you a new one! :P

    @California SB

    I can top the zumba instructor running a prostitution ring story… how about a soccer team sponsored by brothels? Just google it. Can you imagine the promos at the game? :mrgreen:

  39. sassyteacher says:

    @SD Guru: I googled the soccer team! I think that’s hysterical! Good for the brothel owner. I didn’t even know that prostitution was legal in Greece.

    Just an aside… I love your little green smiley face. He looks (or you) look so debauched! I don’t even have to read what you’ve ridden. I just chuckle when I see it! Sort of a pavlovian response. I guess you have that effect on us SBs.

  40. sassyteacher says:

    Hahaha! What a freudian slip. I wanted to write written and I wrote ridden! LMAO My brain’s in the gutter this morning! hahahaha….

  41. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: ot we could just use duct tape (Quack!) an put “Buffet Line Starts Here” on the front door, that way the whole house is covered. ;) All you can eat under one roof……..

  42. twiceshy says:

    @RussianSB this morning I stood infront the mirror and shouted Caribbean! Caribbean! Caribbean! but you did not appear :-)

    I’ve been down the road of a SB who seemed ok when she was here, but then started having a Financial Crisis every week or so. I told her that it just wasn’t working out, and suddenly her entire sky collapsed and she needed a large payment to tide her over, because of a recent crisis. smh. I don’t know what I have written on my forehead >_<

    I'm seeing so many SBs post on these blog entries and my own experience is quite different. I think perhaps I am pricing myself out of the range of good SBs?

    I have had sometimes 5 email back and forths, and then they disappear in the middle of arranging to meet. I noticed someone posted about this phenomenon on an earlier blog entry, and I've experienced it myself now.

    For me, Skype is a necessity. We must have that first Skype meeting, because my arrangements involve Travel.

    If it were a situation where we meet in the same town at a restaurant, or a bar I suppose Skype would not be essential. but once I need to spring for tickets to even meet? Gotta be reasonably sure that we have some sort of connection. Also need to be certain that you are who you say you are, and that your photos aren't 10 years old, or from a model site!

  43. Tina says:

    @twiceshy: where are you located, just out of curiosity? Your primary location may be an issue that turns off some SBs, since they might be a little skeptical……….

  44. twiceshy says:

    @Tina

    Well…I live in the Caribbean, Trinidad to be exact.

  45. Tina says:

    @twiceshy: well, there ya go! It will be difficult to find a SB, since many SBs (including myself) are reluctant at first to have a SD so far away. Plus it will take time due to the distance and safety concerns on behalf of the SB. Just be patient, and know that it will take a little more time and possibly kissing more frogs than other SDs because of your location. :)

  46. Tina says:

    I think I will have to add in my profile that “SD must be willing to feed my plant addiction, specifically the assistance with rose bushes, a butterfly garden, and vegetable garden”. I just bought myself a new rose bush (dark purple grandiflora, called “Twilight Zone” – I’m SO excited!) that should be here next week. Ooooh, and we can’t forget about the succulents I want to get too……

    Yup, my name is Tina and I’m a plant addict :)

  47. RussianSB says:

    @Tina, I am just curious how much nowadays costs plant addiction per mont (for you)?
    @Twisheshy – you nice and yong, you know I am able to travel but I will eat you for breakfast :)) :)) I need old shark to bed fight

  48. Tina says:

    @RussianSB: I’ve actually been a good girl and kept my budget very tight. There are 4 other roses that I want to get just to finish the front yard (1 deep red, 1 dark yellow, and 2 of the same climbing roses that are a mix of red, yellow, orange and pink called Climbing Joseph’s Coat). This last rose cost me more than I wanted, since I have to have it shipped (it’s a hard color to find in a grandiflora, so I was willing to pay it). It was around $44 total for this one plant for the plant and the shipping. For the butterfly garden and veggie garden I would need to get the hardscape too (i.e. border materials) as well as soil and plants. I would also like to have roses in the back yard and I have another bed to finish in the front…..ahhh, dreams of plant beauty…..I could definitely spend a good deal more then $50 / month to get the gardens I wanted :)

  49. RussianSB says:

    To finish all your landscape desighners ideas at once will cost 3k, let’s be realistic here.
    Those addiction start with few flowers, but to have really nice and flourishing garden – we need to start looking for serious guy here. I don’t have summer house, but I know what it cost from my ex SD.

  50. RussianSB says:

    I mean, we bought all flowers at once – nothing special selected, just roses, pionis, irises, multycolour daisies , some spring slowers, lilac of course etc.
    And you boys asking what we are spending money for ??

  51. Tina says:

    @RussianSB: oh, I am well aware of the cost, that’s why I do it just a little at a time :)

  52. RussianSB says:

    oh, I am well aware of the cost, that’s why I do it :)))))))))

  53. RussianSB says:

    (sigh) life is difficult for us, blonds…

  54. Tina says:

    @RussianSB: I’m not blonde, but life isn’t so bad! I will make my dreams happen eventually, it would just take less time if I had the monetary means for some things. But, if that never happens, I’ll do it on my own. I may be 80 when I get what I want, but I WILL get it! :)

  55. RussianSB says:

    Where are you ? That candy-flower gentelman ???

  56. Tina says:

    @RussianSB: my thoughts exactly! Unfortunately I live in a college town, so many SDs here are looking for college age SBs, and don’t realize what they’re missing with an older, established woman ;)

  57. RussianSB says:

    Stop it, Tinaaaaah ! We are doing everything right – now time for cake recepies and gardenings and in 80y.o. we will wear nice diamonds ( just must at that age) and go to Ibiza to get some stupid young boys to play with. Or, as I said ,even at 80s i will find 110 gent to entertain me ;)

  58. Tina says:

    @RussianSB: nice diamonds are for ANY age ;)

  59. GenuineSD says:

    Greetings all !
    I’ve taken a long hiatus from the blog and sugar, but have gotten the life-issues that took me away straightened out. I’m looking forward to re-joining friends new and old.
    Hi Beach_Girl, NC Gent, Guru…. it feels good to be back among friends…

  60. RussianSB says:

    Hi, GenuineSD we just looking now for candy-flowers romance !
    @Tina – here you wrong, Dear, all famous stones usually 80 y.o. ladies wearing.
    And they earn every carat. Just as we are, by kissing all that frogs.

  61. NC Gent says:

    Genuine SD — we are soooo glad to see you back. I am glad that you have your life-issues straightened out — the world needs more SDs like you!

    @Jessie — quit trying to corrupt Content ;)

    @Content – what about them Packers? great game Sunday!

  62. Tina says:

    @NC Gent: now you know better! Content doesn’t need help being corrupted, so stop blaming Jessie ;) She’s just speakin’ da TRUTH :)

    @Genuine SD: hiya! Welcome back, and I’m glad to hear that all is well again! :)

    @RussianSB: true, 80 year old divas DO deserve the carats they’re wearing ;)

  63. EllenSugarB says:

    Forget the diamonds! Buy me some Apple or Google stock lol

  64. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Hi Genuine SD.. Hope all is going well for you now.

    As for the candy and flowers. Wouldnt it be wonderful to receive a bouquet of flowers every week? I love beautiful flowers.

    Dreaming xx

  65. EllenSugarB says:

    I’d take a brick of rhodium over diamonds or flowers any day

    Just kidding … i like flowers too. Tina, I’m jealous of your garden it sounds lovely!

  66. Tina says:

    @EllenSugarB: It’s getting there, but not done yet! I’m really excited about this new rose!!! Roses do quite well here, almost all year round (I have a new beautiful set of buds all over the 3 rose bushes I have now – a light red, white with a yellow center and a pink). AND they really don’t need much water once established, which is a plus……

    I’m not big on cut flowers, I would rather have the plant so I can nurture and enjoy it much longer than a bouquet. I’ve always wanted to build a rose garden with a significant other, made from plants given on special days. That way, at the end of our time together, there is something special to look on and see the years go by……

    Ok, enough romantic sappy stuff from me today ;)

  67. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Nothing wrong with being romantic Tina.

    All sounds good to me

    x

  68. RussianSB says:

    Hi, Lady Vuitton, your country famouse for gardening, join our moovement !

  69. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Hi RussianSB

    How are you?

    Yes we are over here in the UK. The British certainly love their gardens and Castles (homes)

    I will never make a gardener but I do appreciate a beautiful garden and flowers/plants.

    I think we have quite a few who have joined this movement :-)

    xx

  70. Tina says:

    This is the rose I just bought today (replace the “dot” with and actual . , of course):

    store.witherspoonrose”dot”com/roses/hybrid-teas-grandifloras.html?p=11

  71. Tina says:

    an actual, not “and actual”…..argggh

  72. ContentSB says:

    @Guru — Yeeahh…that was the first thing I tried. And if only Mr. Married were a SD!!! I think I’m going to have to relive my T9 days with my mom’s old phone. Woe is me ;)

    @NC Gent — Don’t even get me started…I’m still giddy about that game!!! We needed it SO bad. All I’m going to say is 2010 at this time we were 3-3 and won the Superbowl. We’re 3-3 now…no more explanation is needed ;)

  73. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    I will go and have a look at it xx

  74. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Very beautiful Tina

    I wish you every success in growing them

    x

  75. Grasshopper says:

    @Jessie – The special day is on the 30th…Halloween Eve, baby ;)~

  76. Tina says:

    Thanks LV! I just gave my other roses a haircut…..they look pretty pathetic right now, but will flourish because of it. My white one was getting pretty wild, and trying to choke out the pink…..the light red was putting up a pretty successful fight ;)

  77. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Sounds like you have got them back under control :-)

  78. Tina says:

    @LV: my roses are just like me – they have a mind of their own ;)

  79. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Glad to hear it.

    Great personalities and minds.

    I have to admit I like a bit of a fight myself too. Shows character :-) In the nicest way possible.

  80. Tina says:

    @LV: mine are only in their second year, so they’re still a little scrawny. I didn’t do a good job of fertilizing them as well as I should have this year either (shame on me!). But, I’m going to get some compost to help them along, as well as add some new mulch. That, combined with a good pruning in Feb / March (for my existing ones) should get me a nice little set of roses next spring! :)

  81. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    I look forward to seeing a picture of them next spring :-)

  82. Tina says:

    @LV – it’s a deal! :) I should have all of the roses I want for the front of the house flower bed at least. The one in the middle of the yard is half complete. I just don’t know what I want to do with the other half. Should I do a butterfly garden there? Or a mix of butterfly and hummingbird friendly plants? Or something different, like daylilies (which I love too)? So many choices!! :)

    You will get a flash of inspiration and you will know exactly what to do and what will suit there. :-)

    Omg I just got this new shampoo and conditioner that is just awesome, leaving my hair looking great. Can’t give out the name cuzz I’m not into free advertising; but all I can say is that you can get it at your hair salon for about 40 bucks. I love my hair!! :P

    Gardening: Not my thing. Getting dirt under my nails… no thanks.

    Ellen: “I’d take a brick of rhodium over diamonds”. I’m against diamonds myself. 1 ounce of rhodium is going for about 1.5K, yeah, I’ll take a brick. :P

  85. Beach_Girl says:

    GenuineSD~ OMG, How are you? I am rarely here now, do you still have my email? if not, Blog Gods, please send him my email
    Thanks

    Hope everyone is have a great evening!

  86. Circe says:

    Heylloo everyone! Miss me? Eh. That’s okay.

    @Tina: I love roses too! Betty Boop is one of my favourites! The problems with roses (depending upon where you live) is not the upfront cost to purchase them but rather the costs of maintaining them. Roses attract all sorts of pests. And why shouldn’t they? They are amazing. Keep some insecticidal soap on hand for treating most garden pests. But I would also recommend planting items which encourage natural predators such as lacewings, lady beetles and praying mantids.

    @ContentSB: Have you thought about dropping your current plan to something nonexistent and uber cheap for the remainder of you plan? Then just get a cheap pay-as-you go phone until it’s time for you to renew your plan. I have a cheap $30/month pay-as-you-go with T-mobile which gives me 1500 minutes/texts per month. Fits my lifestyle. There may be better options for you.

    Other yummy flowers include: Lilac, Hibiscus, Peony, Dogwood, Trillium, Bleeding Heart, and so much more! My duplex yard is pretty bare though I have been able to plant some stuff since moving here in July. I hope to turn about half of the front yard into a vegetable garden. I will have a lot of work to do clearing out the back (tons of debris such as downed limbs, poison ivy and other fun stuff back there) but when it’s clear I plan on putting in a decent sized herb and vegetable garden. I’ll find a place to plant some hydrangeas and lilacs along the way.

    I hope everyone is doing well.

  87. Tina says:

    @Circe: I’m getting varieties that are disease and pest resistant for my area; one of the biggest issues is black spot since it gets so hot here. The other pests aren’t usually a problem, and I have a pretty good beneficial insect base right now. Next spring I’m going to add beneficial nematodes and lady bugs to the garden areas as well. I’m pretty self reliant on maintaining my gardens, to keep the cost low. I can’t do some of the varieties that you mentioned, since the Texas sun eats them alive :) I love the Mexican Fire Bush, though, which is also butterfly friendly…….

  88. Circe says:

    Lady beetles can be difficult to control. The trick is to find a way to attract them. Most often when you purchase them from a retailer, the beetles will not stick around. If you do, be sure to release them later in the day, close to dusk. As with most insects, if their food isn’t there they will leave. They particularly like aphids. I’m not sure if the nematodes are really worth the money.

    I would think hibiscus would do well in Texas (forgot you lived there). If you ever have any questions about your insects I’m more than happy to help if I can.

  89. northernsd says:

    CASB “If a guy says on his profile “must be able to hold a conversation” behold… he is a talker and not much of anything else. And usually that’s a warning sign the c*ck is not that good either.”
    Now I resent this statement.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  90. northernsd says:

    I DID NOT add this exact statement until after going on a couple of dates with pot sb’s. (wannabe valley girls)

  91. Tina says:

    @Circe: hibiscus do well here, but I’m getting differing information on their viability as perennial versus annual. I’m all about perennials as much as possible, since I tend to destroy annuals, but I don’t want to have to move plants in the “winter” here, especially with the dog and cats. My dog digs, and my cats like to eat plants (even thorns) then throw them up on the carpet.

  92. Tina says:

    @northernSD: like, what are you, like, trying to say?

  93. Circe says:

    @NorthernSD & Tina: Like, oh my Gawd! No Way! Just totally like gag me with a spoon. Like Ugh.

    *****

    Okay…I feel kind a bit unclean after typing that. Probably because I have heard some of my undergrads speak like that from time to time.

  94. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    I’ll bet that romantic flower garden would be a great backdrop for a picnic, with the scent of fresh roses in the air. Just spread out the Menu/Twister mat again. We could put the mashed taters w/garlic on blue, the chicken on yellow, wine on red, and our hot buns can share the green circles. Spin red take a drink. Spin blue or yellow for a snack. Spin green…well, just let your mind and fingers wander. Play, play, play. Ah, life is good.

    @RussianSB
    I like this word “bedfight.” I will use this now.

  95. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: ooohh, I’m liking how you think! Alas, the rose garden is not yet complete, as many roses are still missing and the garden in the backyard is still a dream in my head :(

  96. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    Laying you down on an incomplete bed of roses, just before we make animal noises is still a great use of the landscape and our time. And, it’s romantic even while in party mode. :D

  97. Jessie says:

    @Grasshopper – I should have guessed. No wonder you’re such an angel ;). Everything else going well?

    @Content – I had a wonderful story to tell you, about how I live on a nudist colony year round…so if you ring my doorbell be prepared to wait while I make a mad dash to my room, and most likely will reappear in a mismatched outfit because I grabbed the first thing that my hands found. In addition, if you see me outdoors in a dress be assured that that’s the ONLY piece of clothing I’m wearing ;). However, you won’t hear any of that from me since I’ve been warned not to corrupt you…lol.

    You know that guy you went out with was correct…you’re an absolute catch but not for a ding bat like him. What you doing dating “age appropriate men” anyway? They are sooo boring…bet half the time you sat there wondering what would be quicker, to shoot him or yourself.

    @NCGent – You know me better than anyone else on this blog…are you sure corrupt is the word you were searching for? Hahahaha!

    @Tina – You should add to your profile…Connoisseur of Roses!

  98. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: you gonna be all talk, or am I going to see some action sometime this century? ;) And I’m thinking of some climbing roses to start in the backyard, so the incomplete bed could have a rose canopy if you time it right :)

  99. Tina says:

    @Jessie: I’m not sure what kind of odd responses I would get if I put that! From the results some SBs have gotten, I’m afraid! :)

  100. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    You can’t handle my gun’s action, or the recoil. But we’ll see if I can time it just right and be gentle. I know you Texas ladies like to shoot, rope, and ride.

    Consider the talk just part of the foreplay. You’ll know when it’s time to come.

  101. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: just remember that I’m not originally from Texas, and I never said I was a lady in the sheets, just in the streets ;) Who said I like gentle, anyway? As far as what I can handle, you might not know what you’re in for……….consider that fair warning………….

  102. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    Where are you from then? Here it is I was expecting a rodeo. (Well, we can still have a rodeo, but..)

  103. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: I’m originally from Kentucky, but have been in Austin for 12 1/2 years now……so I’m quite familiar with rodeos by now, and can add my own little twist my dear ;) I don’t have a Texas twang, but I do have a slight southern accent. And you sound a little disappointed my dear :(

  104. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    But what about the “wearing nothing but a ten-gallon hat and a big ass belt buckle” manuever that texas girls are famous for?

    Disappointed? Actually, Kentucky is one of my FAVORITE states for female awesomeness. I think I mentioned KY in my earlier post. My day just keeps getting better.

  105. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    Even though the laptop batt is about to die and the wifi in the hotel room is jacked up from renovations. :P

    Always on the good part. Nite all.

  106. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: that would be a hat and boots honey, not belt buckle. The only state I remember you mentioning is TN, not KY……..

    And yes, I do have a cowgirl hat and boots…….

  107. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: dammit! And I was on a roll………..

  108. flyr says:

    @JATSD ” I think I mentioned KY in my earlier post.”

    Perhaps but most thought it was a jelly state of being not a state among states

  109. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: WOW! I had to scroll back through to check out the KY comment. Going vertical for the KY huh? Please feel free to read into that comment….oh, wait, you can’t since your battery died prematurely………..

  110. Tina says:

    And ahem, flyr – KY rocks at times thanks so much! (Although I DO love me some Texas!)

  111. SD Guru says:

    @GenuineSD

    Welcome back, please stick around for a while!

  112. Tina says:

    Good Morning All !

    It is a bright and beautiful day here. Also Friday, yippee !!!

    Anyone got any exciting plans or hot dates?

    x

  114. GenuineSD says:

    Good Morning All!
    Thanks so much for the warm welcome back and greetings.
    @Lady Vuitton, Tina – thanks for the warm welcome.. It’s a pleasure to meet you both.

    @Beach_Girl – You’ve got mail! (I think!)

    @NCGent, Guru – thanks guys.

    It’s great to be among friends.

    Back on topic. I agree with all of the tips mentioned above.
    Particularly understanding that your arrangement becomes something another person incorporates into their life and planning… So reliability and good communication is key.

    I also love the suggestion to expand beyond the traditional date. Some of the best memories of sugar came from those weekends where we did something out of the ordinary and shared a new adventure… Truly the stuff that brings smiles years after…

  115. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Hi Genuine SD

    I agree you can never smile too much. Always good to do something different.
    All the spice of life!

  116. twiceshy says:

    @GenuineSD yes, there is never any true No Strings Attached is there. Once you being an arrangement, that in itself is a string :-)

    And as for persons including the benefits of the arrangement in their financial planning…you’re right about that too. It is something that I don’t quite consider when entering into arrangements. Perhaps we should have a standard, non binding document to draw up between SD and SB with terms and limits and exit clauses?

  117. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Good thought twiceshy. Something to think about.

    There should always be consideration for both people and of course keeping the fun.

  118. GenuineSD says:

    @twiceshy… Lol, I once had a lengthy “discussion” about the terms of an arrangement. It was amazingly helpful to understand the thoughts, concerns and hopes from the pot-SB. While we chose to not pursue an arrangement for other reasons, I learned a lot through the experience.
    I try to remain cognizant of the probability that the allowance is tied to the other persons goals or desires…

    Ahhh balance in all things, right? Keeping the fun as Lady Vuitton says, and being aware of your effects on another…
    Time for more coffee…

  119. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    No Genuine SD. It is time for afternoon tea here.

    Care to join me? :-)

    Clink of cups

  120. NC Gent says:

    Good morning all!

    @Jessie — perhaps the word I was seeking was “seduce” not “corrupt” :)

    @Content – would it be ok if the blog gods exchanged our emails? There is a limited supply of Packer Fan SBs!

  121. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Good Day NC Gent !!

  122. GenuineSD says:

    @ Lady Vuitton
    Good thought… Now where’s that Baileys…..

  123. Tina says:

    @GenuineSD: I feel so sad, we’ve chatted before and you don’t remember me *sniff*

  124. GenuineSD says:

    Oh no! *blush* !

    I’ve been away too long dear lady….
    (And the things those aliens did to me while they had me affected my memory!!!)

    How are you ?

    Blog gods: can you please forward my email to this young lady ?

  125. Tina says:

    I’m doing pretty good GenuineSD, as you can tell from my previous rants on here I’m gearing up for gardening season. Although my rose bushes (even the purple one I just purchased) won’t ship until the first week in February. I’m SO excited though! I think I’ve decided to create a small butterfly garden in the front flower bed that is only half finished. I’m definitely no expert on the topic, but have a great resource in the area and am doing my research. I didn’t know that Texas has over 400 species of butterflies, not to mention the hummingbirds! SHEESH! Milkweed and purple coneflower here I come! :)

    And of course I’ll share my e-mail when Guru gets the chance :)

  126. Beach_Girl says:

    Hi Sugars

    GenuineSD~ I didn’t get mail :(

    Tina~ wow, I don’t like gardening much… I do it, but I hate creepy crawlies…

  127. Tina says:

    @Beachy: But some of the creepy crawlies are so beneficial to our health! And I can’t resist the relaxation a garden brings; I REALLY need to get a solar powered bird bath this year, so I can ensure I have water for the butterflies and birds ‘n such. Plus color makes me happy :) I need my nature fix after work to help wind down, and love it on the weekends – one of my favorite things is being able to sit outside, drink a nice cup of coffee/tea/hot chocolate (depends on my mood) and just watch the world wake-up. Well, everything but the people ;)

  128. Tina says:

    But I will have to admit that ants and I are NOT friends. I know I need’em, but the damn things can stop biting me. Itchy! They can stay on their side, and I’ll just stay on mine. :p

  129. ContentSB says:

    @NC Gent — That is perfectly ok! Blog gods, exchange away! :)

  130. Beach_Girl says:

    Tina~ Yes, a beautiful garden is nice… Ants bite??? are you kidding? do you have those fire ants or something?

  131. GenuineSD says:

    @Beach – hmmm sorry about the email.

    Blog gods, would you be so kind as to share my email with Beach_Girl?

    @Tina I’m enjoying watching hummingbirds right now….

  132. Tina says:

    @Beachy – yes, we have fire ants (I am in Texas after all), but other ants bite too. And the stupid bites itch worse than a mosquito bite ANYDAY. Ooooh I wanna scratch just thinking about it!

    @Genuine – I’m jealous! Part of the reason I want a butterfly garden is because I also want to put in hummingbird friendly plants too. But with the area I have right now, I may have to wait until I can hit up the backyard. I have a nice, full sun burn-yer-blooms-off area that needs exploring that would fit some of the beautiful larger grasses and shrubs/vines for those purposes. I can draw a few red-throated hummingbirds with just one feeder, though. Greedy little mongers ;)

  133. NC Gent says:

    Hi Lady Vuitton :)

    @ Content — thanks – looking forward to receiving your email address from the blog gods!

  134. SassyInMass says:

    Happy Friday! I have a hot date for tomor night :) thanks for asking LV

  135. GenuineSD says:

    @Tina. LThe hummingbirds seem to really enjoy the salvia and the fire bush…
    Both plants of seem to do extremely well in full sun…

  136. Beach_Girl says:

    GenuineSD~ I got it… it was in my spam box…

    Tina~ I didn’t know regular ants bit…

  137. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Great to hear SassyinMass

    Hope it goes really really well :-)

    I think a glass of wine is required now. My Friday night is just beginning xx

  138. VASD says:

    @Tina Groovin’ on your passages about your rose garden from yesterday, especially the lifetime/relationship garden concept. Thanks.

    I’m lucky enough to live on a place that’s been in the family for 45+ years now and both my parents avid gardeners/tree planters. My father passed away 25 years ago but I remember him all the time with all the trees he planted around.

  139. Tina says:

    @Genuine: That’s actually what I was planning on adding, but alas, the area I have isn’t exactly full sun. I need partial shade plants, although I have a small area of full sun in said front garden. I love some of the new lantana colors that are out, but again they are usually full sun. Bah! So many choices! :)

    And BTW, the whole “mosquitoes at duck and dawn” is bull crap. I’m working on adding a misting system for my front porch for the hanging plants, and I’m getting eaten alive in the middle of the freaking day. Stupid bloodsuckers!!! (mumbles obscenities to self)

  140. RussianSB says:

    @Just A TEQUILA SD, copywrite exchange for Kraken beast , hehe ;)
    Have you ever try Sangrita, Amigo ? Or you prefer pure stuff with a little happy worm inside ??

  141. Tina says:

    @VASD: awww, thanks! I’m a softie at heart (not always dirty minded, ya know! ;) ) and have always wanted to do that. One of my goals is to finally purchase some acreage here and start on some of those dreams. I’m definitely a conservationist at heart, and would love to have some beehives for honey bees as well as bat and owl houses on the property. I like the quiet balance nature brings, even if I live in a subdivision at the moment (in a rental house, mind you – although the landlord doesn’t mind any of the gardening I do since he likes my taste!)

    And crap, that was supposed to be “DUSK and dawn”, not duck. Although I want some goats, chickens and ducks when I finally get my property!

    Ok, odd rant over :)

  142. RussianSB says:

    Nice, nice , Tina, goat (I don’t know goat wife name) milk good for men health ;)

  143. RussianSB says:

    Tina ! It just cross my mind, you will meet some ranchero soon ! I am in ”A casa de mi padre” mood, not very deep moovie, but nice when your favorite American actors speak Spanish .

  144. Tina says:

    1 Home Depot run for a few small supplies and I will be done with my misting system (for now)! YAHOO!! I’m also a little high off PVC glue….hehehehehe….oh, did I mention that I’m putting up a misting system, attaching it to my timer so that I don’t have to worry about watering my hanging plants? Yeah for being a nerdy engineer! :)

  145. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Who are your favourite American actors who speak Spanish RussianSB?

    Wouldnt mind a spanish or a french one whispering sweet nothings into my ear :-)

  146. RussianSB says:

    Will Ferell !
    Strange, LV, but I prefer British version of English :)

  147. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    You like very crisp tones Russian SB

    Or maybe it is better when they dont speak

    :-)

    x

  148. RussianSB says:

    No… just a sound of it, I love ”My fair lady ”. Never have British SD, once met real Lord on seaside vacation, and he was descreet gay but really nice man… People said it is popular on Misty Albion.

  149. Tina says:

    Scottish or Irish accents for this girl! I could sit and listen to them for hours. Of course, I wouldn’t actually HEAR what they said, I’d just be too dang focused on the accent itself :)

  150. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Yes those are great accents Tina. You always have to really concentrate when they start laughing and talking faster.

    I love Ireland. I have been many times.

    x

  151. RussianSB says:

    Just come across some research lines and I know the blog where it can be disscused :) :) :)
    “Research by Arvalea Nelson indicates that consistently or…c women tend to describe themselves as contented, good-natured, insightful, self-confident, independent, realistic, strong, capable, and understanding while non-or…c women tend to describe themselves as bitter, despondent, dissatisfied, distrustful, fussy, immature, inhibited, prejudiced, and sulky.”

  152. RussianSB says:

    So,Dear Sds, that all you need to find – just satisfyed woman, happy, nice, smiling, no-drama-queen, understanding and realistic :)
    PS. It was the last attempt to wake up the blog !

  153. Tina says:

    @RussianSB: since it’s Friday, good luck waking up the blog ;)

  154. RussianSB says:

    I knew, Tina, but it was desperate attempt, now we knew for sure – no boys in the house !
    Russian and Lady Vuitton almost in the same time zone, and Tina – Rancho landlady in future, I just see you at hasienda style house staying in Jimmy Choo and checking with critical eye roses waiving house walls. Goat is needed for goat females gives milk, here also exist Anhora goats with nice furs. How goat females called ?

  155. Tina says:

    A female goat is called either a doe or nanny (a male called a buck or billy)

  156. RussianSB says:

    And, since it is ladies chat room now, I have a vulgar old joke for girls :
    Woman need three anymals in her life – Jaguar in garage, Tiger in bed, and a Goat who will pay for all that :) Boys, who have ex-wifes also can find it funny

  157. Tina says:

    Nice @RussianSB! :) Watch, the boys will be back soon ;)

  158. JustATequilaSD says:

    Peek-a-boo Ladies!

  159. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    did you even go to sleep, lil lady? You already know why I was “up” all night, after that anti-climactic “hot-post-then-battery-died-on-laptop” incident.

    @RussianSB
    Yes, now you may “Release the Kraken!” and I will “bedfight.”

  160. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: nope, I don’t really sleep much :) I like to be up and about. I’m relaxing at the moment, since I’m a little itchy from the damn mosquitoes. :(

    And hopefully you have your battery charged now, so we can fix that anti-climactic night you had………..

  161. RussianSB says:

    I mean male is goat and female is also goat ? And cheese is goat. I love English. In Russian every word will be different like kozel, koza, kozii, kozlinui :)

  162. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    awww, you need a little something to put on your bug bites? I’m not drunk yet tonight so I’d actually apply the ointment accurately.

  163. Tina says:

    @Russian SB: well, the term “goat” just refers to the animal, while there are other English words to determine the sex (doe is a female goat, buck is a male goat, kid is a baby goat, etc). English is different than most languages in that our nouns are typically non-gender specific.

    We have to make things difficult :)

    And it is referred to as goat cheese in order to differentiate it from sheep and cow milk cheeses.

  164. Tina says:

    @ JaTSD: actually, a nice hot shower usually works to delay the itching, especially when I lather really well. Want to wash my back?

  165. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina

    re: Oh What A Night
    I was saved by the battery last night. There is no cold shower in the immediate vicinity of the hotel lobby. What if some passerby inadvertently uttered “Release The Kraken!” ?? I may have had to leave a path of wreckage from here to Texas, only to wreck it once I got there. I hope you like KY as much as I like KY.

  166. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: who needs KY? ;)

  167. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    I thought you liked Kentucky?

    And we both have shower on the mind I see. I see a cold one in my future though, at least for tonight. Feel free to send me all the details later tonight of your water works.

  168. RussianSB says:

    Oh, yes! Mary have a little lamb… I know kid ! Thank you,Tina. I love foreign languages, Spanish even don’t need to be learned – it just go into your head when you listening someone speaking.

  169. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: I wasn’t talking about KY, but K.Y. ;) Cold showers, not fun! I like mine hot and steamy – if I don’t come out of the shower pink and steamy myself, it wasn’t hot enough :)

  170. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    You cannot say “pink and steamy” to a man sentenced to a cold shower. Trying to keep me in there til the cold water runs out?

  171. RussianSB says:

    Can I call you just Tequila, Just A Tequila SD, coze I am already familiar with Kraken ?
    So, Tequila (papam-parara-pampam-Tequila!),
    do you live in hotels and airplanes just like other SDs ?

  172. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: you apparently didn’t read my first sentence, because I personally thought that was worse than the pink and steamy comment ;)

    And nope, just trying to get you down here….mwahahahahahahahahaha (complete with evil laugh and hand wringing)

  173. JustATequilaSD says:

    @RussianSB
    I like the Tequila song. I can do the dance that goes with it.

    Sometimes I am in hotels. I have not flown in many years now. I usually cover much of the same area.

  174. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: I think RussianSB is just trying to pinpoint your current location; you’re a sexy game of “Where’s Waldo?” named “Where’s Tequila?”

  175. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    Oh, I read the whole sentence…a few times now…lol. The entire hot shower, no KY, pink and steamy areas are definitely causing quite the graphic imagery. Tx is a nice place, but the thought of you coming is constantly playing in my mind over and over. This would be a great time for the battery to die, so I could get that cold shower.

  176. JustATequilaSD says:

    @Tina
    I meant you coming here rather than Tx. You knew what I meant.

  177. RussianSB says:

    No, I don’t, I guess Tequila in States in Kentucky and not in Colombia with two bi-sexual beautys, nothing exiting… If he were, we not see him on-line !

  178. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: now now, do you REALLY want to leave the blog at the moment, just when things are getting started? THAT’S no fun! I don’t think you were ever a part of our sex toy blog conversation…….

  179. JustATequilaSD says:

    re: Where’s Tequila

    I spend time back and forth between 2 states along about 300miles each way from point to point. My schedule is in a constant state of flux and on-call at the moment.

  180. Tina says:

    @RussianSB: I don’t think he’s in Kentucky right now, I think I know where the sneaky little monkey is……..he’s ALMOST within arms reach of me ;)

  186. Tina says:

  196. Tina says:

    @JaTSD: Innocent little me? Now how could I do that? Hmmmm? And I’m much too experienced to let you get short circuited or overloaded; I’ll just get you very overheated and keep you on that edge for a little while……

  199. ContentSB says:

    Holy Blogmance! You two are too funny! :)

  200. LookingGlassSugarbaby says:

    How much money is a good amount to expect your sugar daddy to give you?

  201. twiceshy says:

    @LookingGlassSugarbaby the SD usually puts how much he is willing to give in an allowance in his profile.

    If you don’t want an allowance and you want gifts/ shopping instead, this is still a guide. SBs that put Open Negotiable and then have a figure of 6,000USD in mind are a bit off in my view.

    Put in your profile what you are looking for. Even if you mention gifts instead of allowance, saying you wear Cartier, Louboutin etc. will give an understanding of the level of gift you want (i.e. ONE pair of shoes would be about 2000.00 USD ) .

    This is usually a recurring Monthly expense. I don’t really care how much money you make, adding a new 5,000 monthly expense (USD 60,000 a year) matters, even if you could pay it off interest. So keep in mind at that level the SD could be making lease payments on a Lamborghini Gallardo LP570. Not being facetious, just good to compare and contrast costs.

    If you already have a good job then getting an extra 1,000 or 2,000 a month may be enough when added to all expenses paid trips, fancy restaurants, hotels, nice gifts etc. What you may really want is a nicer apartment, or a car or something else. I think it is very dangerous to depend on a SD-SB relationship for all your living and luxury expenses.

    One thing that is recommended, though, is to be upfront with what you want, with your needs and talk everything out first before actually entering the relationship. Surprises in these arrangements, suck.

    disclaimer : I’m not a highly experienced SD, just had two SBs and neither went the distance.

  202. Tina says:

    @Content: huh? What you talkin’ ’bout Willis? (bats eyes innocently)

  203. Tina says:

    @twiceshy: you are right on the money dear.

    @LookingGlass: it all depends on the situation, as every arrangement is different. If you’re new, it is usually a good idea to put “Open / Negotiable” for the allowance amount, until you get a good feel for what is typical in your area, and how much you are willing to give.

    For more details, where are you located in a general sense? It would help to know, since $1000 a month in NYC is a completely different amount than $1000 in middle of nowheres-ville.

  204. metry says:

    @me:
    I am really surprised that given the cost to SD’s to join this site, and get verified that they don’t back it up with customer support and a means to police the scammers. I’ve tried reporting on two scammers, including one who was talking to SDs to promote her alternative website that she wanted funding to launch – “Personal coaching for new SBs” and tech support took no action and didn’t even respond.

    While sure jilted persons could retaliate, even match com and eharmony take action when bad apples are reported.

  205. LookingGlassSugarbaby says:

    @Tina,

    I do live in the middle of nowhere right now. I’ve worked out a deal with a guy who isn’t too far away. He really likes me and I think it’s going to be a positive arrangement. He’s giving me $1000/mo + shopping trips/gifts.

    I had a local SD try to work something out with me. Saying that he would have to meet at my place once a week. I currently live in student housing and share a room with another person. So he wanted me to move into a private apartment.
    When I asked about the specifics, he said that he’d give me $1000/mo but I’d have to do the grunt work for the apartment and the rent would come out of the $1000.
    I was like NO THANKS SEE YA LATER lol.

  206. LookingGlassSugarbaby says:

    So my question is, is $1000/mo reasonable for someone like me?

    I am 21, have modeled before, am a college student. I’m pretty smart and talented also. Not trying to sound conceited.

  207. EllenSugarB says:

    LookingGlassSugarBaby – “So my question is, is $1000/mo reasonable for someone like me?”

    Girl, $0 is reasonable, $5 Billion is reasonable. It’s all about what you want. So, first, figure out what you want. When you do, my only advice is: don’t settle for less than what you want, unless you don’t mind being disappointed. That goes for Sugar and IRL.

  208. Little Miss says:

    I had one sugar daddy who chased me for over two years before I finally decided to give him a chance.

    My gut feeling was right, while he took care of ALL my living arrangements (2500) plus car payments and living expenses he would always cheap up with the meals and vacations saying that he didn’t believe in “wasting” money. Needless to say, I ended our relationship (including sex) 2 months later after he brought me in his country.

    Material things get old after awhile … Personality, friendship, love never does. And I can’t sleep with someone unless we have those 3.

    For some reason, he’s still paying over 3,000 monthly for my living arrangements plus living expenses and school, 6 months later!

    And I still find him the most disgusting man ever!
