The news on college affordability isn’t good – in fact, 2009 prepares to be one of the worst years to date for federal financial aid and student loan generosity.

While many Sugar Babies are in school, there are plenty SB’s who dip into the sugar bowl for other reasons.

One memorable quote of late: “love’s great, but sugar pays the bills”

With Sugar Daddy dating, spoiling is, and always should be, a two-way street:

“Most people understand that gift-giving is an art requiring a certain degree of thought and knowledge of the recipient’s taste, likes and dislikes. But receiving is also an art, perhaps even more difficult. Since a big part of a Sugar relationship is about giving and receiving – tangible as well as intangible gifts – it’s a good idea to look at your attitudes in this area.

Some Sugar Babies tend to be overly grateful for Sugar Daddy’s beneficence. If a girl isn’t used to being with guys who have the wherewithal and desire to buy her gifts and take her to pricey restaurants, she’ll have to learn to accept Sugar Daddy’s generosity with charm and grace. She should never say, “Oh, you shouldn’t have,” or “You’re too good to me,” or, worst of all, “I don’t deserve this.”

Listen up, Sugar Babes: You do deserve it! That’s what a Sugar Baby is for-to be adored and pampered and coddled and given to. Phony self-deprecation can come off as a lack of gratitude, and that’s a real turn-off to a generous Daddy. Besides, when a Sugar Baby doesn’t have to worry about money and struggle to pay the bills, her time and attention are freed up for her Daddy – which is the whole point! I’m not saying Sugar Babies sit home preening and making themselves beautiful for their Daddies all day long; hopefully they’re pursuing their own goals, whether that’s school or art or auditions or starting a business. But the Sugar Baby part of her life is work, even if she enjoys it; who says you have to hate your job? She should be well-paid.

Ironically, some savvy Daddies are more cognizant of this than Babies. The classic classy Sugar Daddy showers his Sugar Baby with gifts and pays for necessities not because he has to, but because he wants to. Making her life easier and more pleasant gives him a feeling of accomplishment. He likes being magnanimous, or else he wouldn’t be doing the Sugar thing in the first place. Taking care of a Sugar Baby brings him joy – but if she keeps insisting she doesn’t deserve it, he might just start to believe her!

One Sugar Baby was reluctant to suggest expensive activities. She suffered from an overriding sense that, since he paid for everything, only he had the right to choose how they spent time and money. Once, when they were in the Caribbean, she was dying to rent a yacht and go island hopping, but he nixed the idea. In the face of his resistance she backed off, thinking “well, after all, it is his money.”

When they got home, he told her he regretted not having done what she wanted. He said her ideas always turned out to be great fun, and his resistance was just a curmudgeonly habit left over from his marriage to a mercenary wife. Not only did he make it up to her by taking her island hopping – he went out and bought a yacht!”

Are we suppose to move the blog over here now? If so I do have a very old yacht story.

  2. stephan says:

    Let’s hear it Gordon! :D

  3. ME says:

I think that the Sugar Daddy thing has been going on for ages
To have a site like this let’s men post discreetly

One thing; if you DO contact a lady, READ her profile fully.
    including her expectations.
I get so many emails that are one-lined, short and offer so low

It is more than the ‘arrangement
    but to have chemistry
a naughty secret. TRUST. Humour. FUN:)

  4. bostonTerrier says:

a sugar daddy would be *mighty* generous to pay a sugar baby’s $50,000 tuition … maybe my SD will feel so inclined to do that for law school :) one can only hope :)

  5. Gordon says:

OK, since you ask, way back in the last century three other dashing young men and I bought a boat. A 21ft Bayliner, these are cheap family boats designed to cruise lakes and bays. They are cheaply made and you walk around with tools screwing them back together. They are not meant, designed or built for open oceans, so of course we towed it from Atlanta to Miami to cross the Gulfstream and cruise the Bahamas for three weeks, Can you say Gilligans Island?

Everywhere we went people said “you came from where, your are going where, in that? Many adventures and dangers later we pulled into Nassau, the harbormaster at Yacht Haven found us a tiny berth between two super yachts. We couldn’t even see the sky between these two giants.

Being young men we settled down to drinking cheap beer in the cockpit. An older gentleman appeared on the deck of one yacht with a sugarbabbie on each arm (now that’s what a yacht is for). He looked down at the scruffy men and said “boys your living the dream”. He disappeared and we didn’t see him again, I thought he was living the dream.

Later from the deck of the other yacht a white haired man appeared and invited us aboard. We didn’t think twice and climbed way up. The only other person on board was his wonderful silver haired wife. He mixed rum drinks then we settled down in front of the TV where they watched wrestling. In all those James Bond Movies no one ever watched TV on a yacht. I swore that I would never have a TV on a boat.

There is a point to this story.

I now own a very nice boat (no TV). I live in a small but beautiful house in Palm Beach with a very nice pool. Tonight after walking the dog, I mixed a drink and sat in front of the TV. Nothing was on of course so I plugged in James Bond For Your Eyes Only, with nice yachts (no TVs). I then realized that I had become that old couple. I then took my drink and laptop out by the pool. It’s a little too cool out here but I will not be that couple tonight.

boston: is that how much law school is? holy moly!!

I was brought up to be modest and courteous. Reciprication is also very important. If someone buys you dinner, you must buy the next time. That’s just the way I was brought up. To take from a SD without expecting to give them something tangible in return is difficult for me. Of course, I don’t use sex/materialistic gifts to return to him. I make him little things to make him realize that I appreciate everything he’s done for me. I have made him dinner, treats and little bedroom surprises.

On the other hand, sometimes I find that not all “sd”s on the site are true SDs, therefore they do not take pleasure in giving, they only want to take. And us SBs have to becareful of the trap being taken advantage of.
I am sure it applies the other way around to.

  7. Sam 267369 says:

    Gordon, nice story!

Kitty, hope the new look works for you. I usually like long hair, but an appropriate short hair style can be very sexy.

RE: your story, it is generally considered inappropriate to get your SB pregnant in Asia, although many do. It is more common among SD that have no male children to father a child with an SB, as unfair as that is. PRC has a different set of issues than the rest of Asia due to the one child rules.

Social dates can be, as you point out, entirely non-physical and fun. I have been on several with female athletes and students, for example.

Sincere, I agree several things are more sensible and convenient in Asia in regards to the SD/SB arrangements. But there are some advantages here as well if you don’t subscribe to the standard approaches in Asia.

  8. Sam 267369 says:

I love to give and even more so enjoy developing potential. Having a physical and emotional connection makes it more delicious, within the appropriate framework.

  9. bostonTerrier says:

sadly :( it is – it’s also the same as my undergrad :(

i’ve accepted the ton of debt i’ll be in though … it’ll be more than worth it and i figure if i graduate at the top of my class from a good school, it won’t matter (i’ve done my research). that is a small price to pay for a career i’ll love and a superb salary.

there definitely are sds on this site who want to take much more than they can give, all while still believing they’re actually sds. i never understood that.

  10. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Gordan: wouldn’t it be nice though, one day to be the couple

  11. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Boston: oo.. ya the amount of $$ u ca make as a lawyer,,, pooooofffff.. u will be a SM in no time lol

  12. Gordon says:

Kitty, you are right, I have always admired the couple, they gave their address, I sent a thank you card (good upbringing) received a Christmas card and lost track of them. I have often thought of them fondly.

I’m just not ready to be them (yet)

  13. gurlnextdoor says:

Wow Boston! My whole year at school is 5 times less than that! Now, if only I could find a SD who would pay off all those loans I had to take out for the year…

  14. BlondieNYC*233868 says:

I’d just like to find one that doesn’t send me a first email where he thinks I’m a pro. I’m not, my profile is not, and oh! It’s frustrating!!

  15. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    it’s 10k CDN a year here hahaha…. for undergrad

  16. gurlnextdoor says:

same here kitty, but then again i go to a public university…one of the best in the South ;)

  17. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I didn’t know there was a difference… in Canada, there’s private and public… private are shit.. the public are the iveys

  18. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Gordan: out of curiorsity, can a SB be the other half of the “couple”? or do you think you’ll fall in love again the traditional way

  19. gurlnextdoor says:

lol, it’s usually the opposite here in the US, most of the Ivies are up North but I guess I go to a public Ivey school. :)

  20. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    hahaa…. good for u!!!!
I wne to a ivey public school too! :)
Richard Ivey school of business ever heard of it?

  21. D.P. says:

I’m rather glad I dont have to worry about school bills anymore: you gals that are dealing with it, I appreciate your efforts–i know it isnt cheap.

  22. Gordon says:

Kitty, this particular were long time husband and wife.

I have met sbs that were over seventy. Some of those were very long term and some sd/sb couples met in advanced age.

Sometimes when a man of means has nervous heirs, his sons will recommend that he get an older settled mistress but never marry.

  23. Gordon says:

Kitty, I forgot to answer the second part of your question.

I don’t like to close doors and possibilities but this old heart is pretty scared over.

  24. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Gordan: I knew they were an old married couple couple, I was refering to the fact the, “to find someone to spend the rest of ur life with part” …. but ya, it would make sense to just be together and not have “marriage” involved

  25. D.P. says:

There are a lot of pros and cons to a long term relationship and having the legal security blanket of marriage–should the partner pass away

  26. BeautifulBluegrass says:

    Oh Gordon…. :-(

  27. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    there’s always room for l.o.v.e.

  28. D.P. says:

yes, there is room for l.o.v.e. i hope i find it again one day.

  29. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    I am sure u will D.P.
    welcome btw…
how r u? wanna share with us a lil something about u?

  30. D.P. says:

Kitty….I do well answering specifics…not so well with the general…what would you like to know?

  31. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    are you a sb.sd?
    what are you looking for?
    a\s\l? LOL

  32. BeautifulBluegrass says:

This may be stupid, but what is “a/s/l”?

  33. Gordon says:

I live in a very gossipy town, the three most fun stories of the season are.

The biggest wedding was at New Years eve. A predominate couple who had been together for decades finally got married at the Breakers. All of the A list was there.

Another predominate WASPY married couple, whose kids grew up and left have fallen in love with each other. They are coo-cooing in public like a teenagers.

An older bachelor who has kept a beautiful mistress openly for years fell in love with her and married her in the church.

Gossip is a full contact spot here, I never take part unless it’s fun

  34. D.P. says:

i am a SD….. not currently looking: i have a sb that I am pretty happy with so far. I live in chicago but travel quite a bit for business. I am 50.

  35. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    age/ sex/location it’s old chat room lingo…

It’s the classic way of initiating conversation in a chatroom
    “hello kittylainy asl?”
“hello beautiful blue grass, 23/f/Toronto u?”

    etc etc lol

  36. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    lol @ Gordan

  37. D.P. says:

full contact sports are the only ones worth playing, Gordon LOL

  38. Gordon says:

Kitty is laughing out loud at Gordon;-(

  39. BeautifulBluegrass says:

KT – Ah, I should have known that….
Gordon, I love your towns gossip. It is almost movie worthy

  40. D.P. says:

    Kitty,

I answered a few ago but you never saw it.

i am a SD….. not currently looking: i have a sb that I am pretty happy with so far. I live in (a city that if you say it it puts you in moderation LOL) but travel quite a bit for business. I am 50. The current president is from there and it is cold there this time of year

  41. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

it’s with gordan not at.. my apologies

  42. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

DP: well said I know exactly what you mean….
Sorry I missed postings about ur stat earlier… It is sometimes hard to keep up!
    I am glad you’ve found a good SB… :) GOOD FOR YOU!

  43. D.P. says:

Kitty… it took me a bit to see that i was in moderation LOL

  44. D.P. says:

Kitty, it is an acceptable arrangement for the time being. I would liketo be in an exclusive arrangement but in this case, it isnt possible. But when we are together, she is delightful in many ways.

  45. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    well folks…
I am going to make myself a nice hot cup of tea… finish watching Monster’s Inc.. and fall asleep :)

yes, I love cartoons :) esp Disney

  46. D.P. says:

I am likewise going to call it a night: I have an early flight tomorrow. it was nice enjoying the banter : )

  47. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

DP: well sometimes you just have to make the best of every situation~ And the most important thing is that the time spent together is wonderful :)

    I must retire now~

Good nights everyone.. sweek dreams :)
    xoxo

  48. BlondieNYC*233868 says:

Back to work, work, work, work….need cookies!

  49. Spanish Vixen says:

I feel like I’ve been neglecting you guys for a few days (apart from the blogs having been down).

D.P., I hope the arrangement works out for the best!

I’ve had a long day of classes, studying, and grammar battles (yes, yes…I know. N-E-R-D).

I changed a picture in my profile, partially for a bit of a change, partially because I love this picture from a fun little photoshoot I did with my friend. I’m thinking I might change some of the wording in my profile. Should I maybe write a bit more, or is it fine in length? 281654

  50. Spanish Vixen says:

Also, random note…I’ve had my first publication :D. It’s in the school magazine I work for…but none-the-less….I’m published!

    /excited dancing

  51. Sam 267369 says:

Blondie, anybody who would read your profile and think you are an escort must be suffering from a serious brain dysfunction. Or must misunderstand the meaning of escort…

  52. BlondieNYC*233868 says:

Sam- very kind words, however, there are men who repeatedly ask me if I am available in the afternoon for an hour. Hmmm, maybe I’m a parking meter?

  53. BlkButtafly~264118~ says:

Good evening everyone or good morning, whichever. Just checking in to say that my date went great! Now if I can just stop being so shy about what I truly want :-(

  54. BlkButtafly~264118~ says:

Glad to hear your date was successful also, BBL. Thank you for the compliment, flower! Well I’m off to bed. I was only up to check in and deal with some unnecessary and childish facebook drama. I bid you all adieu!

  55. gurlnextdoor says:

Yeah, I don’t think some men read the little thing at the bottom of the login page where it says that this is NOT an escort site.

  56. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

BlkButtafly good to hear your date went well. With all these success stories I’m hearing, I’m actually quite confident that I might be able to find another great SD out there…one that’s closer of course.

  57. Sam 267369 says:

Probably the men read that it isn’t an escort site but will give it a try anyhow. Because it’s so cheap to ask on the Internet — hence SPAM. ;-)

  58. lisa says:

Good morning everyone. Getting ready to go out to work. The bad weather is supposed to come in this afternoon, hope it waits till after 3 when I get home.
    Have a great day everyone

  59. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    Good morning everyone!
I am so glad your date went well, BlkButtafly! Is there a second date planned yet?

SV: Missed ya! Hope everything’s going peachy with you! Study hard…

gurlnextdoor: of course you’ll find a great SD, you’re a great girl! :)

Lisa: You get off at 3pm? lucky.. I am at work until 6 today :( I hope the bad weather waits until you get home.

  60. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

My stupid blackberry won’t turn on. Stupid piece of poo!!! Now I have send it out, so they’ll send me a new one. I am so mad!! I blinged out my phone…. now I have to get it done again!!!

  61. lisa says:

I usually work till 4 but today I get off at 2, but it takes me an hour to get home with my 30 minute bus wait (The bus is passing by when I walk out the door of the store, so I have to sit and wait for the next one, which sucks. Hopffully that nasty drunk guy won’t be there again today, he talked to me nonstop a bunch of stupid nonsense and it really got on my nerves, I was tired and needed some peace and quiet.

  62. lisa says:

dont’ you just hate technology? lol I remember when I was a child and when stuff was getting ready to go out, you got warning, now things just die. My desktop just died on day. it was fine when I left for work, came home turned it on, and got the blue screen of death and memory was dumped. Coffee maker just stopped working one morning, ipod freezes every time I take it out with me. big boom box never did that.lol

  63. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    LOL@ Lisa:
You really can’t do much with drunken crazy people. You never know what they are capable of.. or how crazy they are!! I prfer to stay away altogether!
I absolutely hate technology! (but I embrace it.. it’s a love-hate relationship) My bberry was perfectly fine yesterday, this morning when I got it off the charger, it was off, I thought maybe I just didn’t put it on the charger properly so I brought my charger to work.. and nothing.. won’t turn on. Now they’re sending me a new one.. which pisses me off cuz I spent like $100 to get my phone blinged up

  64. Belle says:

    Hey!
I’m new around here, and just wanted to ask you guys if you think there are SDs that are too old for you? Like is a 38, 39 year difference too much or not?

and Kitty i know exactly how you feel about the blackberry situation but you should call their service center because you might be able to fix it on your own. My blackberry broke in October and they still didn’t send me a new one!

  65. Spanish Vixen says:

Belle, it really just depends on you and who/what you are attracted to. The oldest SD I’ve had was 53, and I’m 22. A lot of factors go into choosing an SD (on my side, anyways) and age just doesn’t really seem to be one of them. If you don’t like anyone older than 40, then don’t date anyone older than 40. It’s merely just personal preference.

I have a love/hate relationship with technology as well. My cell phone’s battery life is dying, but I hope it makes it to March and I can get a nice new phone (Prada? PRADA?! :D). I have a laptop that I’ve owned for almost 4 years now, and I swear it’s just running off of sunshine and rainbows at this point. I’m not sure why it still turns on. It’s been through more crap than anything I know. I’m pretty sure I’ll give it a full funeral when it finally dies.

  66. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    Hey Belle,
Welcome to the blog!!! The only thing that matters is, do YOU think 38-39 year old difference is too much? If you can connect with him, you have a great time together. Then go for it. Do not worry about what anyone thinks. You will find that in a SB/SD relationship. there is very little norm. It caters and morphs with individual Sb/SD couples.
Is your SD 38 years older?

I called the service section and they’re sending me a new one. In the meantime, I am going into the Rogers store and see if they can get me a loaner for now. I cannot live without my bberry. I am trembling already. LoL

  67. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

SV: goood for you.. I’ve had 6.. yes 6 different cellphones last year. I had 2 different laptops last year, AND 3 new desktops. I go through technology like toliet paper. cellphones are due to mishaps and unnecessary upgrades. my new laptop I got for christmas 2007 had a can of coke spilt on it.. so I had to get a new one….. and desktops are just constant upgrades. I have a short attention span and I get bored really easily…

  68. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I think the ability to maintain technology is amazing~ any technology that comes in contact with me dies….

  69. Spanish Vixen says:

Kitty, I feel your pain. I could go to school without my pants and feel fine, but without my cell phone…I feel naked!!

  70. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I am clinging onto SA blog today to get through my day…. hopefully it doesn’t die..
please stephan… PLEASE keep it going…

oo btw SV, how’s ur paragraph going?

  71. Spanish Vixen says:

kitty: lol. Yes, my laptop had an entire glass of milk poured into the keyboard while it was on and has fallen down 2 flights of stairs. I don’t even know why it’s still alive.

  72. Spanish Vixen says:

kitty: I submitted it all ready (last thurs, actually) hehe

  73. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

wow thats durable whatbrand is it?

i haven’t even started on mine i am so bad

  74. Gail says:

Morning Everyone! Technology, spilt milk, and older men. I love the older men part:) just need t find one…Hope you all have been doing great in school, especially our brainiacs:) SV and Kitty:)

Lisa-Bundle up…hope the storm isn’t like the last one you had, and we didn’t hear from you until your electricity came back…

I need to blog too…it’s nice to shoot the breeze with so many people at one time.

  75. Gail says:

Ahhh…I am so happy…my post are finally going thru…LOL….I don’t have to recite the Pledge of Alligeiance:)

  76. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    Morning sunshine gail!!!
Kitty’s done school already.. she’s supposed to be doing online schooling…. but instead, she just procrastinates!

Kitty is writing in third person today.. kitty is slowly going crazy without her bberry

  77. Gail says:

LOL…third person…ok Kitty…is that the evil or good personality of you:) sometimes when life is stressful its good to be in third person mode for me…that way I can blame her for my actions….(smile) Kitty…just love reading your entries:) I smile…I was younger once…

OC…where are you? missing you on the blog…

I have to work this morning…going kinda slow. I am going to make some tea:)

  78. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Gail.. you’re still young so no worries :)
For the past couple days, whenever I drink tea, it tastes like salt water. It is so weird, never happened before. perhaps my tastebuds are changing.
    What do u do Gail?

  79. Gail says:

I am contracting right now at different companies. Love it:) Project Management:) My field is Technology, so I work with high-tech companies on different projects. I like the flexibility it allow.

Did you eat or dring something hot…lol…ok…just started thinking silly about the question I just asked…and I am getting old:) my daughter keeps me young:) she is 23 and in college.

  80. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

gAIL: I wanted to go into project management, that’s why I got a degree in business administrative-marketing. I want to do contract work too… I need flexibility.

  81. Spanish Vixen says:

kitty: It’s an averatec. Yea, I’d never heard of it. But dear lord, it’s lasted me!!

  82. Gail says:

(Smile) I have been very fortunate Kitty….I stumbled upon it when I was unemployed. And by the way, you are lucky to be able to go to college:) I didn’t get the the opportunity to go:)…but my employers saw the drive and excitement in me that they gave me the opportunity to prove myself. I took it…and have had a very exciting and wonderful career:) Your personality, combined with smarts will take you a long way.

  83. NC Gentleman says:

Good morning all! I had a great meet and greet with a potential SB. She is a 36 year old business executive, but she somehow forgot to notice that my profile says “MARRIED” and she about passed out when that became evident. She recovered but she said she needs a few days to think about that. We got along very well and I am very attracted to her, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Keep that blog going Stephan or we will form a chat room to spite you (joking)!

  84. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

SV: lOL.. I will look into it when this one dies…which will probably happen very very soon :(

Gail: Luck, combined with good preparation is the best tool for success. I am very thankful that I got the opportunity to go to college, I graps the opportunity and networked with many profs and during advertising projects, I poured my heart into it and recieved industry recognition. And thus landed me the success that I now have. But it wasn’t without a lot of hard work and drive.

  85. Gail says:

Good luck NC you deserve a good SB…and no worries…the ladies are ready to snatch you up if it doesn’t work out:) Is that what it takes, mention chat room to keep the blog going…usually we get poofed away…LOL…hope this one makes it thru…

  86. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

NC; I am glad your meet and greet went well :) I am sure your charm will allow her to get pass your leftring finger issue. It’s unfortunate but c’est la vie.
    Fingers cross for you!
Btw: when are you expanding your business to Toronto? There’s a great lady that I am sure will be able to help you in.. oh… so… many…. ways…

  87. Gail says:

Yes.. drive and hard work…but make sure you take time to play along the way. I was exceptionally professional at work… after work hours…LOL..well lets just say noone really knew me:)

  88. NC Gentleman says:

Thanks for your kind words of support! I will keep you posted… I sure need to look at that Toronto office lol

Kitty — when I see you I will reimburse you for your international texting *hugs*

  89. Spanish Vixen says:

Grats NC! Glad it all went well ;)

  90. Gail says:

  109. NC Gentleman says:

Bye Gail – have a great day!

Kitty – Yes you do still owe me for flowerpush’s contact information ;)

  110. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

  113. NC Gentleman says:

  114. sweetredhead269443 says:

Good afternoon everyone. Another 3some? I miss ALL the fun around here :(

  115. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

NC: no… I didn’t thanks for the false accusations though.

Redhead: good afternoon… haha I am sure there can be one arrangeed

  116. NC Gentleman says:

Hi Sweetredhead — hope all is well — I think kitty has cut me out of any 3somes after the accusation :)

  117. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

NC: that’s right! haha unless u make it all… better…

  118. sweetredhead269443 says:

Gordon said “Saturday Night we had a sofa and old movies date, My corgi, sb and I had to work out new territory boundaries on the sofa”

Response…Hope neither pee on it and mark their territory. (that would be bad) LMAO Ok so maybe I only crack myself up.

  119. sweetredhead269443 says:

I have to take the boys cloths shopping today ughhhh. Sometimes its worse then taking my daughter! They both have such different styles.

  120. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

LMAO @ redhead… mark my territory.. u crack me up dear…

can u take me shopping too?

  121. sweetredhead269443 says:

Wish I could take myself shopping :( Teen boys are not cheap lol.

  122. Beach says:

I have one I would let go real cheap. I struck out selling him to the circus.

  123. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

redhead: that’s why we need sds… lol

Beach: u gave ur son away to the circus?

  124. Beach says:

    Not successfully, no ;-)

  125. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Darn! why is he so bad?

any optometrist SDs out there? my eye is hurting.. I think something’s in it… but I can’t see what and it stings….

  126. sweetredhead269443 says:

    Flush it with water…

  127. sweetredhead269443 says:

Morning Beach. If you find a taker in the circus let me know. My youngest would make a good clown (not kidding) He already has the tidal of class clown. And they wonder where you get the gray hairs :(

  128. Beach says:

Hi Sweetred. Will let you know, hehe. I was a bit of a character in school and look how I turned out. OK, bad example, I am sure his personality will carry him a long way.

  129. sweetredhead269443 says:

He does have the personality :) He is a great kid! Just wish he would think before he think something will be “fun” like dressing the dog in my panties and bra and send him out in the neighborhood

  130. Beach says:

    rolf, he does have personality.

  131. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    LMAO……

  132. BlkButtafly~264118~ says:

Hi everyone! @ kitty, hopefully I’ll see him again in 2 weeks! :-) I told him to check out the blog and I hope he does

  133. NC Gentleman says:

Hiya Buttafly! Sounds like it is working out great so far! I hope it keeps going well for you :)

  134. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    good luck dear

  135. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

    Hi everyone!

Sweetred – Your son sounds hilairious! haha I used to have a little dog that I dressed up in doggy boots and dresses :)

  136. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Eugh I think i’m allergic to Chinese food, i’m all itchy and now i’m bright red from itching so much :( LOL I’ve never been allergic to anything before!

  137. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

It might be a specific herb that they use in in the food

  138. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

I think your right Kitty, i’m not sure what herb exactly though so I think I may have to avoid Chinese food from now on just to be safe…I love Chinese food though!

  139. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    what did u have?

.. perhaps there’s something bad in it

  140. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

I’m not sure exactly what it was called but it was pork in a lemon sauce and chicken in a caramel sauce, and banana jelly for dessert :)

  141. Sam 267369 says:

Kitty, you have a message. Pixar movies and a GTR — wow.

  142. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    it’s probably bananda jelly…lol….

  143. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I know.. I have weird taste in everything

  144. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    Sam: u’ve got mail :)

  145. Spanish Vixen says:

SweetEuro: That does sound like an allergy. I have a few allergies and I know that it generally effects people in 3 ways. Either their breathing, rashes, or getting physically ill.

kitty: hahahaha you’re weird! wait…so am I. wohoo!

And I have quite a strange love of pixar movies.

  146. BeautifulBluegrass says:

Aren’t some people allergic to MSG (its in a lot of Chinese food)?

    Buttafly- That is awesome!!

Belle- my out-of-town SD is 60 and I am 27; I LOVE the age difference. The way he views women and the relationship between the sexes is refreshing. He actually asked once “Aren’t you supposed to be cherished and adored?” That being said, if there is no chemistry age is completely irrelevant… you 2 could be the same age but it wouldn’t matter

  147. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

Hello all, I’m kind of late to the blog today, but I’d like to make a comment on the age difference thing. For me it doesn’t really matter as long as there is a mutual attraction and great chemistry. Also welcome Belle to our wonderful blog. :)

  148. lisa says:

Good afternoon everyone. Home from work. Couldn’t do much today and just had to look busy. We had a visit from the district manager and some of the employers where in the stockroom moppping and cleaning so I couldnt’ get anywhere near my work carts. So sad, lol
A beautiful but windy day about to come to an end with cold front tonight.
Inbox still empty, looks like no sd for me ever. I’m itching to get out of this house in the evenings, really bored.

  149. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

I agree with Bluegrass, a big age difference can be a wonderful thing. I personally like men who are significantly older than me (10 years or more) because they come from a different generation in which chivalry is not dead. Not saying, that all younger men don’t believe in treating a woman special, but it’s just more pronounced in men who are older. Plus, they’re usually more interesting, attentive, and better in the boudoir…;)

  150. Gail says:

SweetEuro-I hope its not the food…I love chinese food too much. Did you change your laundry soap, fabric softner? You must have hives…red itching and all…

Buttafly-You at you…not too long ago you were sad cuz you had not met your SD…look at you now…you are all aglow. Keep smiling!!!

Kitty-You sound like you are describing jellybelly flops. We have a jelly bean factory close by here..and the ones that get mixed up…or are stuck together(LOL)…are the flops.

BlueGrass-Wow what a man. It would be nice if all SD have the same views as your. YES!!! I AM SUPPOSED TO BE CHERISHED AND ADORED!!!!

  151. Gail says:

    Butta-Ooops mean’t Look at you….

  152. Gail says:

Question-How do you put your eyeball pic on your blog comment. She…I mean Me, keeps looking at me…LOL…anyone else getting that feeling…

  153. lisa says:

being that i’m 43, I prefer a man in his late 50′s but it seems there are just too many 20 something sds on this site, kind of hard to believe and I think alot of them are just playing. I seem to get the most response from those in their late 30′s but I prefer someone older than me.

When I worked at a department store I used to come in contact with a body product that gave me hives. I mean my face would swell, eyes squint, itching all over, red swollen wrists , it was horrible. Not really painful just embarrassing and I always had to leave work or not come in at all, not because I cuoldn’t work, but because the customers would stare and make fun of me. I haven’t had it to happen in over 10 years though.

  154. lisa says:

Why does everyone leave when I get here? :(

  155. Gail says:

its not you Lisa…I had to eat before I died:) I just got off of work too:)

  156. Gail says:

    I am sure there are others lurking…LOL…come out…come out….

  157. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

I prefer an age difference, I find older men alot more attractive and more interesting :) And like Gurlnextdoor said they are from a generation where chivalry is not dead, I appreciate being treated like a lady!

Gail- I haven’t changed anything, I think it must be the food because last night was the first time I’ve eaten Chinese food in years….I’m rubbing ice all over myself now haha i’ve scratched so much i’m in pain!!!

  158. Gail says:

Swwet Euro-Try an oatmeal bath…it will stop the itching. You can find them at the drugstore.

I agree…just love gentlemen all the time:) Its a definate turn-off for me if they don’t open the door.

  159. Yasmine says:

    Hi everyone

  160. lisa says:

I never knew how to act when dating guys nowdays. I have read alot of blogs on traditional dating and it seems like most guys want the woman to share dating expenses, so much for being a gentleman. Heck if i’m going dutch, i’ll go with friends, more relaxes and better company. I’m wolving down a half loaf of garlic bread I got on special at work. dont’ worry I don’t have any dates in the near future.

  161. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

    Hello Yasmine!

  162. lisa says:

    sweeteuropean’s new name sweetURinpain

  163. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

    LOL Lisa!!

  164. D.P. says:

Good afternoon, all….. anything fun going on?

  165. Yasmine says:

Bonjour SweetEuro. J’suis un peu deprimee aujourd’hui. Je n’me sens pas du tout dans mon assiette.
    Hi Lisa!
    Hi Gail!
    Hi Sweets!
    Hi Kitty!

  166. lisa says:

    Hi Jasmine

  167. Gail says:

Hello Yamine:) Now what did you just say. I don’t understand, but I like the sound of it.

DP-We are all shooting the breeze. Tell us something interesting about yourself.

Did anyone read my ealier post…about the eyeball looking at us?

  168. BeautifulBluegrass says:

    Hey Yasmine!
Poor SweetEuro… maybe try topical cortisone?

  169. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Tu es malade au jour d’hui Yasmine? J’espere tu te sentira mieux bientot! :)

  170. BeautifulBluegrass says:

I read it Gail, and i have NO IDEA how to do that. Maybe Stephen can let us in on the secret? I would like a horse as my avatar!

  171. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Moi aussi je me sens pas bien, je viens de decouvrir que je suis allergique au cuisine Chinoise :( Je suis toute rouge en ce moment!

  172. Yasmine says:

Hi Gail :) I was just saying that I feel a little down today… :(

  173. Yasmine says:

loool Sweet je t’imagine avec la figure toute rouge! lol

  174. lisa says:

I always feel like someone in watching me. lol I think about an incident a couple years back when a woman in my city kept coming home to her apartment finding things moved and no sign of a break in. Turns out some weird man had made a hole in the wall in the closet from a joined vacant apartment and she just never thought to check behind the hanging clothes. creepy.

  175. Gail says:

Cheer up Yasmine!!! Is there anything we can do to make you feel better?

  176. Gail says:

I can recite the Pledge of Allegiance…or sing outloud…better yet give you a great big hug, and tell you it will be okay:)

  177. Yasmine says:

I’ll take the hug Gail *hugs* :( It is cold here today and oh so depressing…
By the way I miss Mish I hope she is ok

  178. Yasmine says:

My friend keep telling me that maybe I shouldnt be on SA…

  179. D.P. says:

Gail, my apologies–I lost my internet signal. I’m not sure that you would find this interesting but I am a fairly good guitar player.

  180. BeautifulBluegrass says:

Yasmine, sweetie, is this site making you sad?

  181. Gordon says:

Hi everyone, I just stopped by to say hello.

Do I understand correctly that someone here needs help with an oatmeal bath? We are all friends and I am willing to help.

  182. D.P. says:

Gordon, oatmeal baths are kind of yucky, so I applaud your sense of friendship. LOL

  183. lisa says:

well at least the one’s on that site aren’t looking for free porn pics, lol
I was thinking of trying one of those other sites in the future, I don’t know about them but at least the men seem older, too many young guys on this site, limits my pool of potentials. But the premium membership was a waste of my money, I can view who viewed me, but have got zero legit emails and no meetings :(

  184. Yasmine says:

    Hi BBL I think so yes… :(
    I think I might cancel my membership…

  185. Gordon says:

Do you mean cinnamon and butter is not involved?

  186. D.P. says:

Lisa, where are you in the world?

  187. D.P. says:

Gordon, not usually…. although the oatmeal smell is much nicer than calamine lotion!

  188. Yasmine says:

Yes Lisa I feel you… A LOT of guys on this site are just looking to play with multiple girls and do not understand the meaning of a real sd/sb relationhip. I had to cancel a meeting that I had last week because sometthing didnt feel right about it..

  189. D.P. says:

Yasmine, I think it can be said that there are a number of gals on here looking for multiple guys and who also dont understand the elegant subtlety that this type of arrangement should convey

  190. BeautifulBluegrass says:

Oh, Yas! I wish I could give you a hug too! I hope a pot SD wasn’t mean to you.
Maybe hide your profile for a bit and think for awhile- that never hurts
It could be a passing phase or maybe this site truly isn’t for you. You would be missed on the blog it you left though….

  191. lisa says:

jasmine I have had those situations were it just didn’t feel right, well on other sites, as I don’t get any dates on this site, and I was glad I backed off, if it doesn’t feel right, it isn’t.

D.P. I’m in Houston, Texas sucky city, I dont’ like it

  192. D.P. says:

Lisa I have to admit that I go there as infrequently as I can. I’m not a big fan.

  193. lisa says:

I backed off on one guy who I don’t know why I responded to at all. It was a couple years ago on a regular dating site. I just didn’t feel like after talking to the guy for 3 hours that I wanted to meet him. He was divorced, had 7 kids under 18 , and another one that had been dead 8 years that he was obsessed with and was about to lose his house, way behind on child support, his kids hated him and he could only see them with a court appointed supervisor, big red flag. when i said thanks but I don’t think so, he called me and told me off and said I was the devil and that any normal woman would love to date a man with many children. yeah right. anyway he called me a month later and told me off out of the blue, so glad I didn’t meet that one. lol

  194. Mina says:

    Good (early) evening everyone
Lisa – Why no luck in Houston? It’s a large city…

  195. lisa says:

Houston is a terrible excuse for a city. Our public transport sucks , basically if you are like me and don’t have a car, you are scum. I can’t even get a date because I don’t have a car, guys act like i’lm from another planet. And the crime, murders everyday. 3 fatal wrecks this morning. And don’t get me started about the sticky summer weather , yuck, lol

  196. D.P. says:

Lisa, there are certainly a few bizzare folks out there!

  197. Yasmine says:

Oh wow Lisa and I thought that Houston was this huge fun city..

  198. lisa says:

Mina would you belive the last time I spent some time checking on this site, there were only about 30 premium active sds on this site. most members are non paying members that join, look at profiles and never pay or email. Of those 30 or so on, most are not looking for someone like me, actually most of them are way too young for me. Also funny thing is so many guys say they live in my city when they actually live 100 miles a way.

  199. lisa says:

yasmine Houston is a huge crime infested, gang infested swamp, torn up sidewalks, no respect for people who walk and all the good stuff is actually spread out. there is no way to get out of the city if you don’t have a car. Galveston is about 45 miles away but accesible only by car, there is no public transport out of the city limits. alot of the attractions are in the suburbs, but unlike the windy city that I can’t mention on here due to moderators, lol we have no trains or shuttles

  200. Gordon says:

I must leave for a while, dinner plans tonight (non sb)

Time for a shower and dressing, think of me in the shower.

I will check in later, bye for now

  201. lisa says:

Also it floods in moments when it rains. lol and we don’t have any wax museums or anything fun and the amusement park “astro world” closed down a few summers ago.

  202. lisa says:

remember to shower with oatmeal, lol

  203. D.P. says:

Lisa, that is part of why i am glad i live in that city that cant be mentioned. while I dont use public transportationg myself (I do use the subway rarely and sometimes a cab) it does make it easier for those who depend on it

  204. Mina says:

I don’t see how the wrecks can be blamed on the city and not on the drivers…

  205. Gail says:

Start singing and playing for us DP!!!

Gordon-You are a goofball:) Cinnamon and butter can be mighty good!!!

My thoughts to you Lisa: Life is what you make it. Crimes and murders happen in my city too. I just simply enjoy living:)

Yasmine-Even if you haven’t found a SD here..stay tuned in at the blog.
You don’t have to stop communicating with us:)

    Back in a few…

  206. lisa says:

well Houston is known for it’s rude drivers. It is very unpedestrian and with a cheap dumpy bar on every corner (all of this mornings wrecks involved drunk drivers) it’s just an invitation.

D.P. I lived in the windy city when I was a child and spent my early childhood in Arlington Heights. We never had a car and got around eaisly as everything was close by and the sidewalks wide, roads narrow. And the suburbs were accesible by northwestern train lines.

Gail crimes and murder happen in my apartment complex. I can’t even get out after dark , I feel so shut in. I can’t just go out when I feel because it’s too dangerous and God forbid I take a bus after 7 and get stranded. Buses run hourly after 7 pm, and often are no shows.

    Stay with us Yasmin

  207. lisa says:

D.P even getting a cab in this city is hard. We don’t have lines of them on the sides of streets like in the windy city, I remember all the yellow and the green and cream cabs when I lived there. Here you have to call a cab and they take forever. I used to take a cab from work when I didn’t have a ride (luckily after a few weeks I found someone to ride with at work) and well let’s say I called it at 9 and it showed up at 9:30 or 9:45 and my coworkers ended up having to wait with me till it got there.

  208. Beach says:

Worked in Chicago for awhile and had a 20 minute walk from the office to the train. I never once felt unsafe, regardless of the time of day or night.

  209. lisa says:

    everyone left me again :(

  210. Yasmine says:

Back home ( Ivory Coast ) sd/sb relationships are frowned upon because people do not like to see younger women with older men but they are the REAL sd/sb relationships. The girls are worshipped and taken care of like princesses. The sugar daddy takes care of everything and I mean everything, the girl, the girl’s tuition, her rent, her trnsportation and even her family. It is amazing. Most of the time people just say that the younger woman has put a spell on her sugar daddy and that is the reason why he is spending so much money on her lol Most of the SDs over there own oil companies and mines and are very wealthy.
I never realized that THAT was what was called an sd/sb relationship..
It is not exactly the same thing here. Very few gentlemen know the meaning of an sd/sb relationship. I was also surprised to see so many young men ( 30-39) calling themselves sugar daddies lol the ones who “make” 75k a year and offer 20k in allowance a month lool
A true SD to meet has maturity, style, a love of life and a HUGE respect for women. I really do not see anyone under 45 as a true SD. Thats is just my humble opinion.

  211. Yasmine says:

    I am here Lisa! *hugs*

  212. Yasmine says:

    * to me*
    sorry typo

  213. Sam 267369 says:

Those of us trying SA in America are pioneers. As such it is natural we’ll have to suffer many misunderstandings before we find what we seek. That’s the way it is when you are trying something new and easily misunderstood.

Or, rather than new and misunderstood, OLD and misunderstood. ;-)

  214. lisa says:

Yasmine, many men on this site seem to think paying for dinner makes them a sd. One guy contacted me a couple months ago that was looking for a dinner date whenever he was in town. no mention of an allowance but oh yeah he did talk about how important sex was to him in his email. I wrote him back and asked him what type of arrangement he was looking for, and he said well I want to meet and have dinner and maybe spend some quality time together, needlesstosay, the guy was clueless and disappeared when I mentioned what I was looking for.

I love the one that make 75-100 and have monthly budgets of 20k and sometimes i wonder if they are confusing their total budget for their own expenses and monthly income to mean their “budget” and my faves are the ones that want to spend a couple days a week at your place when they are in town (too cheap to get a hotel like most business travelers) and offer 500 a month.

  215. Yasmine says:

Lol Lisa I know right..Most of them are looking for escorts but do not know it. How can you tell a girl that you will give her $ 300 or $ 400 for every “meeting”? I feel like being sooo disrecpectful every time I get that kind of email but I have to bite my tongue and just ignore it. That is NOT what a sugar daddy is! A true SD will give you an allowance because he ADORES you and loves the time he spends with you, the conversations you have with him, the little things you do for him that make him forget about his hectic life if only for a second, NOT because you told him you want a specific amount of money every month..If a SD feels like he is paying for sex and your companionship then that is not a real sd/sb relationship.
Sorry for the long posts guys
Today is NOT a good day for me and all the fakes on this website are making it worse..

  216. Atlantian says:

I agree with many of you about the age difference thing. It doesn’t really matter to me as long as there is chemistry and a mutual attraction.
I will say this though…Age should not be an issue. He should not be trying to be your SD for the sole purpose of being with a hot 19 year old. He should appreciate you for your mind, etc. Just like you shouldn’t want to be with an older man for the sole purpose of his money.

  217. lisa says:

at least you get financial offers. I don’t even get that. No mention of money, just send me some sexy pictures, lets meet and get together a few times to see if we are compatible (better known as give me free sex and then i’ll say we aren’t compatible and move on to the next victim).
Most of these guys talk about 2 or 3 hour “meetings” which is fine if that’s all the time they have and want to do a variety of things, but they aren’t looking for someone to talk to or go to a movie with, they want to intimate immediately.
I can’t tell you how disappointed I am when on the rare occasion I find an email in my box, thinking “could this be him?” I read it and what is it?

“Hi” or “let’s meet” “let’s chat, give me you IM” and if you email these types, they never write back because they were just online sending out random messages.

  218. Yasmine says:

Lol Lisa I wish I could cast a spell on all the men on this site to turn them into REAL sugar daddies lol the sbs would thank me later :)

  219. Gail says:

Lisa-I do not live in heaven. Its extremely busy in my neighborhood too. I just don’t let others limit my life. Fortunately I do have reliable transportation. I use to stay at home all the time, but made the decision to venture out in this big, beautiful world:) And I am glad I did because if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t be smiling now:) Crossing the line can be quite liberating Lisa!!!!

  220. Yasmine says:

I think there is nothing nicer than a SD calling you to ask you how your day is going, trying to make you laugh and relax when you are stressed out before an exam or giving you advice and tips on how to start a business or what to do after college. There is nothing I hate more than SDs calling to ask you to book a room for the next “meeting” or calling to talk about sex, and sex, and sex, lol I am glad I havent had one like that yet!

  221. lisa says:

let’s see : someone to go out with a have fun with, movies, dinner, shopping, occasional trips, talking, romance, etc the ingrediants of the perfect boyfriend without the complications of being liked by his family , etc. One of my roadblocks to a regular dating relationship is my family. I love them but they are really weird and well not very well kempt. My mom, and I love her, is very religious and believes bathing and stuff isn’t important and all that matters is being holy. She and my stepdad often have food handed to them in the mall or money when they are out because people think they are homeless by the way they look. they live on social security and are ok and a have a little savings but their appearance gives this impression so I have to say I would be ashamed for a boyfriend to meet them, not to mention my mom can be rude and very nosy sometimes, most men dont’ want to be picked apartment by their 40+ girlfriend’s parents. so sd dating is for me, if I ever find one, I can be discreet and dont’ have to introduce him to my family. I love my family but they choose to be dirty and it scares people away

  222. BeautifulBluegrass says:

Atlantian- Very well put. I couldn’t agree more.

  223. lisa says:

Gail, you could not pay me enough to walk down my street after dark, it isn’t my choice, it’s a matter of safety. The people walking around with guns don’t care about my “independence” they just see me as white woman and they don’t like me. I am no good up against a gun, had that once, dont’ want to go through it again.

  224. Yasmine says:

Safety first Lisa..If you feel your neighborhood is not safe after dark please stay home. Better safe than sorry..

  225. Gail says:

    Lisa,
I didn’t say walk down the street after dark and risk you life. Find alternatives to try and enjoy your life:).

Everyone have a nice evening, I am going out tonite:) Dinner, drinks and fun! Meeting the girls for happy hour first!!!

  226. lisa says:

Yasmine my last boyfriend (he was 56, no boy) started out fun. He would pick me up in his mercedes after work (I was working nights at that time and we saw each other on my nights off, usually 2 a week) and we would go to dinner or a movie, a little grocery shopping for me, back to his place, watch some tv, spend the night together, sleep late, go out for breakfast. I would also take my laundry over to use his washer so I didnt’ have to walk blocks to the laundrette.
well it degressed, next it was him picking me up at 10 pm AFTER he had spent the evening hanging out with friends, straight to his place, no dinner, and next morning, quick rushed trip to store and home, and then it turned into him stopping by about 11 pm on his way home from his evening for a booty call, no dinner, no shopping, etc. He of course couldnl’t stay all night because of the parking situation (there was never any parking that late and he had to park in a fire zone and watch his car) and of course auto theft is high in my complex.
It was not much fun sitting home alone while he was out and then having him expect to “stop by”

  227. Yasmine says:

    Have Fun Gail!!!

  228. lisa says:

Have a great night Gail! Yasmine, I havent been out after dark since my boyfriend dumped me last may. And the 5 month relationship I had with him was the only time I went out late. I have been staying home in the evenings for over 3 years. I hate it cause i’m a night person

  229. Yasmine says:

Lisa I am a night person too but because I work overnight at my second job ( I am a night auditor at 4star hotel) I do not go out as much as I used to. When I do get my nights off all I want to do is just curl up on the couch and watch tv or go straight to bed. I work weekends sometimes and I HATE IT lol imagine having to go through boring financial reports while your friends are calling you from the bar or at a party telling you how much fun they are having :( It makes me feel like I am 80 years old lol and I am only 22..

  230. Yasmine says:

    *a*

  231. Atlantian says:

    Thanks BeautifulBluegrass!

I got an email from a guy in Florida…He seemed legit…His profile had enough on it to make him seem real. But sure enough after I reply, it says he’s read it, and no reply. I’ll give him a few more days, but I’m thinking he’s a no go.
At least I’m sure there’s one SD who’s pretty definite. We’ve managed to talk everyday despite him being in Europe, but I feel so bad because he’s up late after long days! I’ll make it worth his trouble ;-) haha

I need to be doing schoolwork.

  232. entyse says:

hello everyone. im a new perspective SB. my problem is that all my relationships have been that guys have taken advantage of my kindness and i hate it i would just like to meet someone i can be my bubbly self who makes my life easier so that i can focus on making him happy is that a legit reason to do this

  233. lisa says:

I’m back took a hot bath and talked to daughter. She got her intinerary for her school trip to New york next month. I am so jealous of her, but happy for her, she has so much going on and when I was her age (she turns 18 in april) I had nothing going on. But I see what my mom has done to her, she is smart (graduated high school cum laude) but she has no ambition and of course no money or desire to go to college, and is very religious and vowed never to have sex or date, etc. It’s sad she is so pretty and looks nothing like me, but she’s going nowhere. Same view of the world as I had at her age. I made good grades and she was president of the national junior honor society at her school but its’ wasted.
when i was 18 instead of preparing for my future, I spent my time saving stuff up so that when my family went to hide in the woods awaiting God’s return, we would be able to live there for 7 years in hiding. Of course that never happened but by the time I got my head straight I was 39 years old.
On a lightner note, I enjoy being home in the evenings now after working for 10 years in retail in the evenings. I do miss sleeping till 10 am though

  234. sweetredhead says:

Whats the deal. First I have no one messaging me now I have 4 SD’s messaging me lmao. When it rains it ours…

  235. sweetredhead says:

    oops pours

  236. Yasmine says:

Sweet Euro I love your new pic!!! TOTALLY HOT!

  237. Yasmine says:

    You go Sweetredhead! :)

  238. sweetredhead says:

I just spend $400 on cloths for the boys. I am beat!! I hate shopping!!! Been told I don’t know the syles and cloths do not have to match ughhhh. What happen to those sweet little men who wore what I bought for them :(

  239. BlkButtafly~264118~ says:

Hey Yasmine I saw a few job posts for an auditor position here in my city but I don’t know exactly what that involves. Are you able to stay awake?

  240. sweetredhead says:

Yasmin, don’t give up. I was going to also. But I have talked to someone now that really seems to be what I am looking for. Don’t let some of the creeps on here mess with your head. Their really are Real nice Sd’s out there too :)

  241. lisa says:

sweetredhead my daughter who is almost 18 won’t wear anything that is not from Abercrombie and fitch or hollister. She has even developed that annoyed voice those preps talk in. lol She wears 40 dollar flip flops and thinks that a tank top on clearance for 20 dollars is a sale. lol
I used to buy her stuff on the clearance racks when she was little and she always looked adorable but now it’s jeans and tanks and henleys.

  242. Yasmine says:

Yes Buttafly I am used to my night schedule now and it is only 3 nights a week. The good thing I do not need coffee or anything like that to stay awake ( I hate coffee lol). I am full of energy from 11pm to 7am but when I get home from work I just crash LOL

  243. sweetredhead says:

I took them to Kohls, they had some great sales. We also went to Outback steak house for dinner. Got my tax return :) gave them a treat :)

  244. D.P. says:

Back : ) just caught up on the posts… Yasmine, there are good guys out there; one just has to sort thru the pretenders–and it works the same for SB’s

  245. sweetredhead says:

I think everyone should just join the blog, faster to sort them out :)

  246. D.P. says:

Sweetredhead…Tax return already? my accountant asked me how much cash i had available since I oew, I owe…it’s off to work I go—gotta pay the tax man!

  247. Yasmine says:

Buttafly a night auditor is a front desk clerk with a lot more responsibilities than the daytime clerk. We close the business day, go through financial reports and balance out entries and records financial transactions, do some bookkeeping, verify or make reservations, etc..but I love it tho
I get to meet interesting people and the regular guests buy me coffee, candy or other stuff every time they return to the hotel lol
I ALWAYS get the ” awww you have to stay up all night?” lol followed by a little gift lol

  248. sweetredhead says:

Yes, I got my w-2′s and just went and filed. I don’t owe so I don’t mind doing them early :)

  249. Yasmine says:

    Thanks D.P and Sweetredhead! :)
Still thinking of casting a spell on the men on this site lol hehe

  250. D.P. says:

sweetredhead….where are you in the world? I am in the windy city

  251. lisa says:

i am going to stop by the print shop tomorrow to print out my w2′s (I got them via email and saved them on my usb thingy) and then I will sit down thursday evening (you won’t see me on the blog till i’m done) and file with the free turbo tax thing and hopefully get my refund in a week or two like last year. I found the stub from the 401 k thing and it tell how much they paid me and how much tax was withheld so I really dont’ need the wait for the 1099 now. I will get new computer (just a cheap 400 dollar one and no monitor cause my monitor is fine), and some new contacts so I can see for awhile, take my family to dinner, get a couple new pillows (mine are flat now), get a cheap dvd player , like 30 dollars so I can watch my dvds, buy a horror movie to watch on my mom’s birthday (we love horror movies) and go to Ross (kind of like kohls) and buy some clothes. they have stuff that is sold at Macy’s and also alot of rampage lingerie which is good for everyday wear.

  252. lisa says:

Yasmine it sounds like you have some sugarguests, lol
    careful don’t say the “C” word C H I C A G O

  253. Yasmine says:

Lol yes they are very sweet, nice, older gentlemen..

  254. D.P. says:

Yasmine…..what age is, to you an ‘older gentleman’ ??

  255. sweetredhead says:

    I am in Florida D.P

  256. BeautifulBluegrass says:

entyse- I think you have a very good reason for being here. Good luck and keep us posted!

  257. D.P. says:

Sweet…what part? I have a home in Estero— one of the golf communities

  258. Yasmine says:

The regulars I am talking about are around 45 to 60 years old and are ususally here on business or for meetings

  259. D.P. says:

    BeautifulBluegrass….are you A.L.?

  260. sweetredhead says:

I am in Seminole, pinellas county (st Pete area)

  261. D.P. says:

Ouch…. i guess i am old, then, Yasmine LOL

  262. BeautifulBluegrass says:

What does a.l. stand for?? Last night it was a/s/l an now this…

  263. Yasmine says:

LOL how old are you D.P?

  264. D.P. says:

I was curious if those were your initials— thought perhaps I had spoken to you before

  265. BeautifulBluegrass says:

    *and*

  266. D.P. says:

    Yasmine I am…… 50 LOL

  267. Yasmine says:

Lol I thought you were about to say 70!

  268. BeautifulBluegrass says:

Maybe…. would you like to share your profile # with us? I understand if you don’t, I would not be too comfy putting mine up as I want to keep my anonimity

  269. D.P. says:

    no….and i am a pretty young 50 ….i think LOL

  270. sweetredhead says:

that’s not old……well could be because I am 40 lmao.

  271. BeautifulBluegrass says:

    wait, you live in C H I C A G O…. then nope, we have never spoken

  272. lisa says:

50′s young, men are at their best in their 50′s. I dated guys my age when I was younger and they were minute men if you know what I mean. My last boyfriend was 56 and my lover 57, more stamina that the younger guys.

  273. D.P. says:

BB… if you are A.L….. then you know me. we had dinner… if you arent, then you dont—since we didnt have dinner LOL

  274. D.P. says:

BB….. it would have been in Ky

  275. lisa says:

be careful BeautifulBluegrass there are ladies present, lol
    Don’t say C H I C A G O without spacing it, it’s a naughty word on here, lol

  276. BeautifulBluegrass says:

Ah. Is A.L. your SB then?

  277. lisa says:

    what did you eat??

  278. BeautifulBluegrass says:

    I’m in Lexington KY!!!!
Lisa, thanks. I almost forgot the spaces too ;-) I would have been sooooo irritated to have lost another post to moderation.

  279. D.P. says:

no… it was an interesting dinner but not the chemistry I was looking for. so, no, A.L. is not my SB

  280. Yasmine says:

Oh so you two met in ky?

  281. BlkButtafly~264118~ says:

Hmmm sounds interesting, Yasmine. I think I will check it out. D.P., you’re at a great age to be a SD

  282. lisa says:

D.P. and A.L. met in KY I wonder if they met on SA?

  283. sweetredhead says:

My 11 yr old is trying on the cloths I bought him to see what he wants to wear to school lmao. Do all kids wear t shirts will skulls on them ughhhhhhhhhh. Talk about feeling old!

  284. lisa says:

they must be going through the gothic phase. lol my daughter went through that but now she’s prep. I like the gothic stuff better. Actually I keep my halloween skeleton on my door all year long.

  285. BeautifulBluegrass says:

I couldn’t talk to my SD tonight as he was in a meeting. Anyone remember the blog topic “Who’s Your Daddy?” (August 2008)? The first descripitive thing it says about SDs is “in a meeting by default”…… I am realizing how flippng TRUE that blog was. Are all SDs always in meeting or prepping for meetings??????

Where has OC been? Is SuthernExec in Cali right now?

  286. sweetredhead says:

No he does not wear Goth. He just likes guitars and music. He loves ACDC lol. He is my little rocker. He is also a Jock. He is well rounded. He also likes those plaid shorts.

  287. lisa says:

interesting, my married lover is in a meeting tonight too. lol

  288. sweetredhead says:

How do you think the SD’s got to where they are. By working hard. Running companies is not an easy job, that’s why they need us.

  289. lisa says:

my daughter went through a phase where she borrowed my ac/dc, metallica, and guns and roses cds. Now she just anoys me with hanna mantana and all those girl singers. blah

  290. sweetredhead says:

“my married lover”…somehow that sounds trashy :(

  291. lisa says:

I have a feeling a few of the sds on this site are working at mcds or jack in the box, lol not all they seem to be. I had that one guy who owned a big business but couldn’t email me to cancel our meeting because “the boss” was there and he couldn’t log onto sa

  292. lisa says:

yeah but he’s all I have, been with him for almost 4 years, went through 3 single boyfriends in that time that were too busy for me. If I didn’t have him, I wouldn’t have anyone, this sd stuff isn’t working

  293. lisa says:

then the 10+ years I was celibate should make me sound “angelic and saintly” lol

  294. sweetredhead says:

Take Gordons advice and change your profile. I agree with the things he said.

  295. lisa says:

and it’s no worse to have a passionate affair with a married man than it is to have a married sd, sleeping with a married man is sleeping with a married man, no matter how you put it. I am not trashy. I have only had 5 lovers in my 43 years. two of the boyfriends I had were just friends

  296. lisa says:

I did change it but it’s waiting approval, so now I will get the two word messages again

  297. BeautifulBluegrass says:

And that is true sweet, but I’ll never cease to be amazed at the hours these guys pull, the money at stake in their dealings, and the # of meetings they are in…. I’m glad someone’s doing all that ’cause it sure ain’t gonna be me :-D

  298. sweetredhead says:

I forgot to make a hair appointment today. Hope my hairdresser has an appointment soon. My bangs are so long, all I see is a view full of red hair lol

  299. lisa says:

I wouldn’t want to be in a meetings all the time

  300. lisa says:

I am going to log off now. I am upset. I am not trashy!

  301. Caligirl says:

    Hello SA SBabies and SDaddies,

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. Lisa, I have missed you. By the way you are angelic. It takes an angel to know an angel. I know that when you are ready to change your profile you will.

  302. sweetredhead says:

Lisa I meant the saying “married lover” sounded trashy. I didn’t mean you were trashy. Sorry Didn’t mean to make it sound that way.

I would never say that to you :(

  303. Caligirl says:

You are not trashy Lisa. Don’t go away. We have alot of catching up to do. Tell me Sweetredhead, are you in the habit of offending people here?
Or are you just trying to be comical?

  304. Yasmine says:

Dont take it the wrong way Lisa I think she meant “married lover” sounded trashy not you.

  305. Caligirl says:

    Lisa,
We will catch up on e-mail. I’m leaving too.

  306. sweetredhead says:

Oh great….I hurt Lisa and never meant too. It’s not what I meant.

  307. Yasmine says:

Hi Caligirl Sweets never meant anything mean. Come on you guys..
    Lisa dont go away.. :(

  308. sweetredhead says:

Am I wrong?, I looked and I said “married lover” sounded trashy, not her.

  309. BeautifulBluegrass says:

Lisa, she just meant that phrase sounded kinda bad…. not you!
sweet, maybe when she re-reads it she’ll understand O:-)

  310. sweetredhead says:

I feel so bad now :( I would never intentionally hurt someones feelings :(

  311. Yasmine says:

I think Lisa is gone.. :(

  312. Yasmine says:

Well I’m gonna go eat and get ready for work..

  313. sweetredhead says:

    have a good night Yasmine.

  314. Yasmine says:

    Good night Sweets
    Night BBL
    Night Lisa

  315. BeautifulBluegrass says:

Time for me to go also. Good night my blog family!

  316. SuthrnExec says:

Good evening all! It’s been a busy week for me so far and I haven’t had time to blog. No, I’m afraid I am not in California – it would be nice though.

  317. Hillari says:

    Hi all:

Just thought I would add my 10 cents on what just happened on the blog. I’ve been as they say, loitering around for awhile now, and just got the guts to post. But will exit immediately if you don’t allow me to express my thoughts and quotes.

Speak clearly, if you speak at all; carve every word before you let it fall.

First learn the meaning of what you say, and then speak.

It’s better to stay silent and look a fool, rather than speak and remove all doubt.

An event has happened, upon which it is difficult to speak, and impossible to be silent.

My basic rule is to speak slowly and simply so that my audience has an opportunity to follow and think about what I am saying.

  318. VillaCypris says:

    Hi Hillari,

Excellent thoughts, exceptionally well-articulated. Thanks for posting them. I’m new on here as well…. nice to meet you ~~~~

  319. Hillari says:

We must be the newbies today. Nice to meet you as well. So how has your experience been so far?

  320. bostonTerrier says:

i’ve learned it’s best to stick to the blog topics … there are no hurt feelings that way

  321. VillaCypris says:

Non-eventful… there are not many people here in Minneapolis…. in which I am interested… but that applies to men in general, not exclusively on this site.

I was just down in Palm Beach for ten days, however, which was fabulous. I used to live there, and hadn’t been back since May 2005. So I caught up with many friends and went to all my old haunts… and missed -22 F weather here… :)

    And you?

  322. Hillari says:

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your experience Boston Terrier. Blog topics can be very interesting, but as you know it’s easy to get off topic. In addition hurt feelings can be avoided if individuals take time to think first and re-read their entries before they hit enter. Or also re-read responses to make sure one does not over react.

  323. sweetredhead says:

Think I will just stay away from the blog. Before I say something I will regret.

  324. Hillari says:

I have been blessed. I am just started seeing a SD in Washington,DC. I came back after spending two weeks with him. I am lucky he is a single SD. But believe me, I have had my share of potential SDaddies that did not work. I never gave up though. Minus 22. I can’t imagine living in the cold. Palm Beach is really nice. I had the luxury to traveling there last year. The sand between my toes, and the warm weather makes me long to be there again. I live in Nevada where it is cold and snowy right now.

  325. VillaCypris says:

Yes, the beach there is fantastic. I took 2.5 hour powerwalks every day… that is great exercise! Cold and snowy in Nevada…. I always picture that as the desert, warm and sunny all the time! Congrats on finding someone, that’s fantastic! I’ve only been on here one month, so I’m not ready to give up yet… I have been disappointed with the number of persons who lie and misrepresent every detail of their lives… I can’t understand that, for I don’t believe in beginning any kind of relationship, whether that’s friendship, lover, boyfriend, SD… under false pretenses…. so, one must take extra care to find honest people!

  326. Hillari says:

It’s good to take time to think Sweetredhead. I was fortunate to have learned the lesson at the early age of 21.

VillaCypris, Palm Beach has a beautiful hotel called The Breakers. Have you been there before?

  327. sweetredhead says:

If people would like to give advice, maybe they should take it themselves :)

  328. Hillari says:

Yes, honesty is very important. I believe that I can even deal with a married man if I know in advance. That way I can make an emotional shift in the way I think and feel. What I enjoy is the fun and travel. I have been on two dates so far.

  329. VillaCypris says:

Yes! That’s where I stayed for the first three nights… fourth floor, oceanfront room… I love the Breakers… I used to walk there in the mornings and get chai tea with soy milk and sit in the rocking chairs with my friend Kelly. Watch the world go by… Is that where you stayed last year when you were in town? The location is great, right in town, can walk just about anywhere… and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is phenomenal.

It’s “high season” right now in PB, and the Breakers was only at 30 % occupancy… it should be at 100%… so the economic downturn has affected even there…. along with Bernie Madoff and that whole scandal…

  330. OCSugarBaby says:

    Hello Sugars :)

  331. VillaCypris says:

Good evening, OC! How are things in CA?

  332. OCSugarBaby says:

Welcome Villa and Hillari, we are all “Newbies” at heart…

  333. OCSugarBaby says:

California is a bit chilly tonight, but compared to the rest of the country I have NOTHING to complain about!

  334. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Hello to everyone! I have missed you all so!

  335. Hillari says:

I didn’t get to stay there. I had to settle for the Four Seasons. I loved just laying on the beach getting my dose of UV rays. And at the pool, while the pool boys misted us with Evian water, and brought us cold face towels.
Not to mention the seafood. Lobster, prawns. I thought I was dreaming.

Yes, good old Bernie. I read that even Zsa Zsa lost money. I feel badly for everyone that lost their money.

Your comment requires no response SweetRed.

  336. Jenniferbbwsb says:

I am so happy to be off work for the next 3 days!!! I am getting tired of taking care of sick people! saying that with a smile.

  337. VillaCypris says:

    It’s minus 3 here right now… minus 13 with the windchill…. appropriate for January I suppose… :p

  338. OCSugarBaby says:

Hey Jenn! I missed you girl. You are always smiling. How is the SD search going?

  339. Hillari says:

OCSugarbaby. You reputation proceeds you. Great reputation of course. Your words are well thought out and genuine. You are a sunshiny gal.

Hello Jennifer. Nice to meet you. Villa and I are new here. I have loitered around for awhile, and felt the need to jump in tonite. So here I land feet planted firmly.

  340. Jenniferbbwsb says:

OC… Not very good, but I will keep trying.

  341. VillaCypris says:

I’ve been to drinks at the Four Seasons but never stayed there…. did you get to Worth Avenue or any of the fantastic restaurants in town? Chez Jean-Pierre is supposed to have the best dover sole…

Bernie Madoff has a house on North Lake Way, facing the intracoastal, it’s rather un-imposing, compared to the surrounding homes… he really wreaked havoc on the Palm Beach community… and NYC.. even here in Mpls people were affected… very sad situation…

  342. Jenniferbbwsb says:

    Welcome to Hillari and Villa.

  343. Jenniferbbwsb says:

    OC, how is the puppy?

  344. Hillari says:

Sounds like great cuddling time Villa. Or just wrapping yourself in a nice warm blanket. Add that nice cup of Chai tea. What more can you ask for!

  345. OCSugarBaby says:

Awww thank you Hillari. This is a great place to come and vent or share questions or concerns. We try to help where we can. But as you know it takes time, a good attitude and a whole lot of patience! :)

  346. VillaCypris says:

    Hi Jennifer ~~~ thank you!!

  347. OCSugarBaby says:

Jenn-Things here are great! I am looking forward to a little R&R in Scottsdale this weekend. Funny, it will be warmer in CA then AZ!

  348. VillaCypris says:

Someone with whom to cuddle?? HA! I do have my chai tea, in fact… and my electric blanket for later….

  349. Jenniferbbwsb says:

OC, sounds like fun. Have a great time, I will be thinking of you when I am at work. It was getting warmer here in Florida, but another cold front is moving through with rain on Friday.

The search for a SD is getting very hard. I get depressed at times, but then tell myself that it is their loss for not wanting to met me!!!

  350. VillaCypris says:

Jen, Have you ever seen “What the Bleep do we know?”

    http://www.whatthebleep.com/

It’s so thought-provoking, and there is a segment in the movie in which quantum physics is used to determine that as soon as we STOP searching for something… it will come…. because then we are open to all possibilities and not fixated on one outcome or response…. it’s really interesting. I’d recommend it!

  351. VillaCypris says:

Jen – I just wrote a comment that is now being moderated… maybe because I included a website… but there is a movie I’d recommend… ‘what the bleep do we know’…. very interesting, and explains that old cliche that things and people come to us when we stop searching….

  352. Hillari says:

Villa-We ate at a place called Brazilian something. Had the Wild American shrimp and my date had the squab with the foie gras. Also dined at Renato’s on Worth street. The food was okay but expensive. Good thing I didn’t have to pay.

Alot of people were taken by this madman. $50 billion dollars is a lot of money.

Thank you Jenniferbbwsb and OCSugarbaby for the warm welcome.

R&R OcSugarbaby? Sounds fun, but I always thought Arizona was hotter than California. Must be from seeing all the men red faced from golfing all the time.

  353. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

Welcome Villa and Hillari to the blog. Well everyone, I think I may have met a potential SD and not through the site :) He’s an older gentleman (mid 50s), but he’s so sweet and interesting. He’s French but speaks English fluently, and is a professor of Linguistics over at a University in France. He has a small boat that he sails around the world, and he is so freakin wonderful! I’m sure he’d make a great SD, now I just have to convince him of that, lol.

  354. BlondieNYC*233868 says:

Hey all! I hope everyone is doing well.
Gosh, I go away for a bit and miss everything!
Lisa, come back, come back! We’re all worried about you!
Me, I’m cold, and have a runny nose. Went to a couple events and drank some white wine…also cupcakes, weird combination, I know!
Gee, I feel left out everyone exchanged emails except me…waah! Am going to sit in a corner and hog all the chocolate.
Oh well, I’m off to walk the dog. May log in later, may not.
Hang in there everyone, please treat each other with love and respect.

  355. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Villa, I know that old saying and I know it is true. I am just having fun reading all of the profile and at times just laughing.

  356. VillaCypris says:

The Brazilian Court Hotel… Cafe Boulud, that is excellent. Renato’s is good, the location off that small via is very romantic…

Yes, I second that, thanks for the warm welcome!! :)

  357. OCSugarBaby says:

Villa that is so true. I came to the sight looking for answers to a question concerning a potential SD that I met else where. I had a bad feeling about him and had no one to turn to. I was beside myself searching for help. I stumbled upon this blog. I read the comments for a day or so and found the blog’ers to be very genuine and caring, so I introduced myself and asked my question. I was blown away with the instant help. They asked me questions and helped me right away. I felt so welcomed. I never looked back, that potential SD was just what I had a gut feeling he was. A fraud.
I joined SA that day and continued blog’ing. I have met some amazing men and women. The sugar family is one that has it’s issues, just like any other family dynamic. lol But at the end of the night we rest our heads on our pillows and know that we truly care for one another. :)

  358. Hillari says:

Good for you Gurl. Does that mean you may be sailing away this summer? What a wonderful life you will have. You should have no problem convincing him. You sound like you are on top of the world right now. Hurrah!

  359. OCSugarBaby says:

Gurl, it is you that he should be chasing! For you are the freak’n wonderful one. :)

  360. VillaCypris says:

Hi gurl and blondie… ! Where did you meet the French professor? At which university does he teach? Wouldn’t that be an experience, to sail around the world? Wow! Blondie hope you feel better!! Jen, it’s endless entertainment, reading some of these profiles… :)

  361. Hillari says:

I come from a dysfunctional family. I sure hope everyone kisses and makes up here. NYCBlondie said it right Love and Respect. Then she also said something about white wine and cupcakes. I don’t know how that tastes together. But if she likes it, it must be alright.

  362. VillaCypris says:

OC – that’s something I learned the proverbial “hard way”…. to listen to my gut feeling/intuition… have you read “Blink” by Malcolm Gladwell? It’s an amazing book… and explains how our brains work so instantaneously that it only takes two seconds for us to process sights, sounds, smells, etc and arrive at our ‘gut feeling’. I find the mind endlessly fascinating.

  363. BlondieNYC*233868 says:

VillaCypris and Gordon you guys are making me homesick for Palm Beach. I used to leave close by and was involved in a few things, went to Whitehall for events etc., I miss the balmy breezes at night. Sigh.
I had better stop procrastinating and walk the dog.
VC- thanks for the wishes, I think I’m just overtired :(

  364. OCSugarBaby says:

We put the FUN in dysfunctional! :)

  365. BlondieNYC*233868 says:

Hillari- it’s what they served at the second event I went to, I was hungry so I ate it…icky sugar rush….lol!
VC- haven’t read Blink am reading Tipping Point…oh I must walk the dog!

  366. OCSugarBaby says:

Villa- I loved that book! I also just read another great book “The Art of Racing in the Rain” By Garth Stein. It is told from the dogs perspective. It is so good.

  367. Hillari says:

It’s been a pleasure meeting all of you tonite. Thank you Villa, OcSugar,Jennifer, Gurl and Sweetred for sharing your kind words and thoughts. I am turning in for the evening.

  368. VillaCypris says:

Blondie – where did you live, by PB? Whitehall is quite imposing!! I know, I miss it, it’s so safe there, I used to go walking at midnight along the intracoastal and the ocean…. all the palm trees rustling in the breeze… it’s really a little slice of paradise in the world…

  369. VillaCypris says:

Good night, Hillari! Very nice to meet you! Sweet dreams! x

  370. VillaCypris says:

Thanks, OC. I’ll have to check it out!

  371. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

Villa that would be nice, to set sail with him for the summer. *grins* I met him at my university actually by mistake, I was looking for one professor and I found him instead, lol. He was here to talk to one of the professors here about some research or something. Anyway, he’s one of the most intriguing men I’ve ever met, so perhaps he will eventually become my SD. Unfortunately he had to go back to France to teach, but I’m sure he’ll be back. :)

  372. OCSugarBaby says:

Nite ladies, I need to go walk my poochie as well. Sweet dreams!

  373. VillaCypris says:

OC – I read “Blink” on a flight from Nice to Amsterdam, and then Amsterdam to Minneapolis… I was sitting on the plane in AMS, as others were boarding. I looked up and saw this man coming down the aisle and I thought, he looks JUST like the priest I had in grade school! Whom i hadn’t seen in YEARS! But it was that two second click click click and I just KNEW! Without really “knowing”… and most coincidentally, he sat down NEXT to me… I said, excuse me, are you Father LaFontaine? And it WAS!!! It was eerie…

  374. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

Lol OCSugar, I agree, but he’s such a gentleman, so I believe he is chasing me yet taking his time going about things, which can be nice at times and then frustrating at others.

  375. VillaCypris says:

Gurl – even better, perhaps he will invite you to France for a visit!! What are you studying at University?

  376. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

I’m studying Interpersonal and Organizational Communications but I just happened to be in the right building at the right time, looking for one of my potential future professors. :)

  377. VillaCypris says:

Things happen for a reason….. I just looked at your profile… and saw you want to travel to Italy someday… maybe via France, with your new friend! :)

  378. Atlantian says:

I’m so jealous, gurlnd! He sounds so suave! lol

I actually should be studying for a French test tomorrow. You should send his number my way!

  379. VillaCypris says:

Bonne chance, Atlantian… j’ai étudié le français depuis longtemps…

  380. Mina says:

gurlnextdoor – How did the topic of SD/SB dating even come up with the professor?

  381. Atlantian says:

I feel like I butchered it haha! Oh well. As long as I make an A on my test, I’m good.

  382. Atlantian says:

I was wondering that to, gurlnextdoor…How did the sugar topic ease its way into the conversation? Some playful flirting and banter? haha.

  383. VillaCypris says:

Eh no… c’etait bien, le francais! I tried to teach myself french when I was in 4th grade, and then took it all four years of high school, plus one summer, and the first year of college. I lived in Tunisia for two months one summer, french is the second language there, so that was good practice… and also lived one year in Monaco… at first, people made fun of me for my “book french” which was grammatically perfect but definitely lacked all the slang and informal terms. You’re right, there’s no substitute for living in a country and listening to the natives speak and use the language. I hope you get there someday! It’s a beautiful country…

  384. Mina says:

I would think it would take more skillful flirting than playful flirting…

  385. Mina says:

It sounds like you are very well traveled, VillaCypris! Did you study abroad for school, join work-study programs, or move with your family? Pardon my nosiness ;)

  386. VillaCypris says:

    Hi Mina :)

I took my first trip to France between my junior and senior years of high school, with the class, travelled from Paris down thru the Loire Valley to Provence and the Cote d’Azur… second trip after graduation from university, with a girlfriend… 7 weeks, we went all thru Spain, Morocco, France, Monaco, Italy, Germany… I decided I wanted to study Arabic, so that’s why I went to Tunisia and lived there for two months the summer of 1997… I lived in Monte Carlo, Monaco, Aug 05 – July 06, for the purpose of getting an MBA in international business. In between and around, I’ve also been all throught North Africa and the middle east… I love the sahara desert, as well as the mediterranean region… for all my formal education, I think i’ve learned more about myself, the world and the people in it, from travelling and experiencing different things, both good and bad. And i have lots of memories, many travelogues and stories, from all those trips. One of the best investments one can make, in my opinion, travelling….

  387. Mina says:

Shame you missed out on Portugal! I visit there and Spain frequently (I go to Marbella just about every summer holiday – beautiful)
Where in the Middle East did you visit, and are you still pursuing your studies of the Arabic language?

  388. VillaCypris says:

Oooo! Lucky you! I’ve never been to Marbella… or Ibiza… nor Portugal :(

One of my favorite places was Sevilla… I have a haunting memory of a full moon, against a deep blue velvet sky, shining thru the ramparts of the Alcazar…

In the middle east, I’ve been to Dubai and Oman, as well as Jordan. Working west, also Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco… would love to go to Libya someday, and the Algerian Sahara, the great sand seas and the oases circuits immortalised by Paul Bowles.

I wish I had kept up on my Arabic! Two months was not very much, I still practise the calligraphy and the letters and try to teach myself new words. When I’m in the middle east I can recognise some words, both written and spoken.

Have you been to the middle east as well?

  389. gurlnextdoor*274735* says:

Haha, well the topic hasn’t actually came up between us, which is where my wonderful fellow SBs come into play :) I was wondering how I should bring the topic up, I don’t think he’d be closed minded to it, but I don’t want to just be like “so yeah, how about you be my sugar daddy.” I’ve been trying to ease into that conversation slowly, by hinting at it, but I’ve yet to actually ask him how he would feel about being my SD. So any suggestions.

  390. Mina says:

A good friend of mine is from a wealthy Portuguese family so I’ve been very fortunate in getting to explore the country with a privileged tour guide.
I LOVE Dubai! I’ve traveled there many times over the years and my family has a villa there, it’s been so interesting to see the huge change in just a few small years. Great shopping, too.
I have traveled to many countries in the Middle East – I love anywhere in the world with a long history and rich culture.
    Or a good topless beach.

  391. Mina says:

gurlnextdoor – You may want to get to know him a little more before even hinting at the idea. Just because he’s older and does well for himself doesn’t necessarily mean he’s open to the idea. First and foremost – is the fledgling attraction even mutual?

  392. VillaCypris says:

That’s fantastic! Last time I was there was Sept/October 2006… I’m sure it’s changed a lot since even then! I stayed at Grosvenor House in the marina and just about every building had a crane attached to it and was undergoing construction. Is your villa on one of the palm fronds? I did not get out onto any of the palm islands while I was there… where else have you been? I’ve been eyeing Qatar and Bahrain… and someday, I hope, Iran… and Lebanon once the violence subsides…. are you of middle eastern descent?

  393. VillaCypris says:

Gurlnextdoor… I agree with Mina… perhaps the whole concept is foreign to him… although, not to generalise, but he is French, and they tend to be more familiar/open/accepting of the “mistress” concept… I would get to know him better before broaching the subject, even in jest…

  394. gurlnextdoor says:

Yeah Mina that’s what I was thinking…but yes the feeling is mutual, that’s pretty much been confirmed. :) But hey a girl can hope can’t she…he’s a lot better than a lot of the fake SDs on here. (Not including all you wonderful TRUE SDs here on the blog, of course)

  395. Mina says:

No, the villa has been apart of our family for years – well before that development. I have also been to Iran, Kuwait, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Egypt, UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia when I dated a Saudi prince (otherwise, I would not have gone as a single young woman) and I’m sure I’m leaving out a few countries…
    I am indeed. :)

  396. Mina says:

gurlnextdoor – Just don’t get your hopes up. If he is married he may be open to having a mistress, but not so keen on the financial aspect of an SD/SB relationship (I do agree with you on that, VillaCypris) It’s a delicate subject…
You recently broke things off with your SD, yes? I’m a tad behind on the posts, I apologize.

  397. VillaCypris says:

That is almost my dream list! :) I tried to go to Jeddah from Hurghada, but was told I couldn’t get in, as I was travelling alone…. Iran must be amazing, is it? Where did you go? Tehran? Shiraz? oooooo!!! So lucky!!!

I am humbled, you probably speak fluent arabic, and here’s moi, with my two months… تيريسا ana ;)

  398. gurlnextdoor says:

Yes Mina I did, it was a mixture of incompatibility in both distance and how much I asked for monthly. But, we ended it on good terms and I wish him the best. But, no he’s not married actually, he’s divorced, so perhaps that will improve my chances, I’m not completely sure. But I will give it time, I’m enjoying the emails, IMs, and phone calls right now even without getting any type of financial support from him. All the more reason why I think he’d make a wonderful SD for me.

  399. Mina says:

I’ve been all over Iran, as I have family there. I may be going there again this upcoming summer holiday and meeting with my SD in Dubai on the way back for shopping. So, no… Not fluent in Arabic ;)

  400. VillaCypris says:

Farsi? Cool, I didn’t know you have an SD :) from Dubai? You’re in the US though? Or UK?

  401. Mina says:

gurlnextdoor – When one door closes, another one opens it seems! ;) That’s great there is already chemistry between you two. Hopefully the lines of communication will stay open and you can dance around the SD/SB idea and see how he takes to it. Are you looking for an allowance or an opportunity to travel?

  402. VillaCypris says:

Gurl…. I hope all the communications continue… even after you meet with him again…. I know a few of my friends who was being pursued relentlessly by men… phone calls, emails, text messages…. up until the day or weekend that they met up in person… and then, voila. They all abruptly ceased after that…. maybe it’s the thrill of the chase or the challenge of getting someone to agree to meet in person…. I hope your French prof wouldn’t do something like that to you…

  403. Mina says:

VillaCypris – Yes, I am fluent in Farsi. I’m from the U.S. and my SD is from my city but I’ve sparked his interest in a trip to Dubai as he’s never been and we’ve grown a tad bored with domestic trips together. I would not date a Middle Eastern man again…

  404. VillaCypris says:

    * who WERE …. I can’t believe I wrote who WAS…

  405. VillaCypris says:

Hmmm… interesting comment…. why is that? Their attitudes towards women? I’ve never dated anyone from the middle east… I have a friend in Riyadh, however, and listening to him gives me some idea of what it would entail….

  406. gurlnextdoor says:

Thank you Villa, hopefully I’m hoping he won’t disappear on me either. And Mina I’m looking for both, but more for a chance to travel than a monthly allowance as I only need a certain amount per year (I just want my tuition paid for lol, I can take care of the rest).

  407. Mina says:

The Middle Eastern men I have either dated or were friends with were not US or European born, so their views and attitudes towards women were very different than those I had grown up with (my parents are very westernized) I hate to sound like I’m stereotyping or making generalisations, but unforunately the men I knew fit into those categories.

  408. Mina says:

Ah, tuition… I never knew how much my tuition was/is, I just know it’s expensive!
If things work out between you and the professor, this would be a wonderful opportunity for you to travel and experience different cultures. You must keep us informed!

  409. gurlnextdoor says:

Lol, I hope it will and of course I will keep all of you informed. But I’m off to study some French lol, now I feel compelled to actually try and learn it unlike in High School. Goodnight.

  410. VillaCypris says:

I understand… my friend is US born… so he definitely has one foot in each “culture” and finds the saudi-born “typical” male disingenuous. We have so many misconceptions of that culture, thanks to our media, so I truly enjoy talking to him and learning what the reality is… at least how he interprets it, I guess!

  411. Mina says:

Good luck with your studies, gurlnextdoor.

  412. VillaCypris says:

Good night gurl! Bonnes reves! :)

  413. Mina says:

Well, you have the American point of view and now the Saudi point of view. ;)

  414. VillaCypris says:

I’m going to bed as well, Mina…. it’s 0110 here… was so nice to “meet” you, my fellow middle eastern voyageur…. hope to chat again soon! x

  415. Mina says:

Sweet dreams, I’m off to catch some beauty sleep as well.

  416. Curious Capricorn says:

Hi everyone I’m new to the blog… I do have a question I need to ask, First of all I am a black female and my question is have any one ever been involved with S/D or S/B outside of their race?

  417. lisa says:

Good morning everyone. The cold weather as arrived, brrrr. I have to leave for work in half an hour, I’m so looking forward to it, lol
Watching the news there was a drive by shooting at the sonic across from my daughter’s school last night, this is also a block from where I work, makes me worry, daughter goes to school across the street. No arrests either. Probably gang related though as the boy was 14.
Going to stop at the print shop after work, be back home about 4.
Have a good day every, welcome to the new bloggers.

  418. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

  421. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    Welcome Curious!!!
All my sd’s been Cauasian.. but several potential’s Asian. It makes no difference to me at all. Sometimes I find it an advantage to be Asian though… A lot of Caucasian men seem to really like Asian girls ;)

  422. sweetredhead says:

Morning Lisa and kitty, welcome curious.

    Good Morning to everyone.

Kitty… you go girl!! Is the bberry still running?

SweetRed… How are you? Are you better today, after all that went on last night?
And how are all of the emails?

  424. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Still no mail, Lisa, I know that you are at work, but I feel your pain.

I know that I will need to keep the faith and have patients.

  425. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Just about time to go for my walk. I will be back on later.

    hugs and kisses!

  426. kittylainy says:

ya bberry is temporarily still working… I dropped it again and miraculous it works again… lol….

  427. sweetredhead says:

  428. Spanish Vixen says:

Good morning everyone! Kitty, glad the Bberry is still working.

I’m just now waking up. luckily my friend signed in for me to one of my classes…as unfortunately I totally slept through it! augh.

It’s supposed to rain here today. I have a feeling I’m going to be running from class to class! Bring on the aerobics!

  429. Gail says:

    Morning Everyone,

Eventful evening on the blog:) I thought I was going to sleep in but somehow I awakened without the alarm.

Last nite went to happy hours for sushi and drinks. And then all 7 of my girlfriends and I went to eat dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Yummy…but I don’t think the shot of Bacardi mixed well with the BangBang Chicken and Shrimp:( Stomach not feeling well this morning.

Kitty what a beautiful young woman you are! I love your avatar.

Jennifer,Great outlook and positivity this morning. You will find yours:)

Going to make some tea. I have a new box called Snappy Ginger.

  430. sweetredhead says:

Morning Jennifer. I am Great!! emails are good :) Keeping that to myself for awhile.

  431. Jenniferbbwsb says:

I am now back from my walk.

SweetRed… I am very happy for you.

Gail!!!!! are you feeling better after your tea?

  432. Spanish Vixen says:

Gail! Yea, bacardi can screw with your stomach. But mentioning sushi…now I really, really want some more sushi…even though I had it for lunch yesterday. damn you! :-P

    Jennifer: good walk?

I have political science soon. I somehow feel that 2 history classes back to back first thing in the morning is going to be the death of me, lol.

  433. sweetredhead says:

Wb Jennifer. I love walking. I go walking with the boys after school. We all get exercise and we get a chance to talk :)

  434. BlondieNYC*233868 says:

Good morning all! It’s a rainy snowy morning here. When I took the wonder dog for a walk, for the first time in a very long time, she was very quick…I think she couldn’t wait to get back into a nice warm house :)

  435. kittylainy says:

I didn’t know there was action here too!!!

  436. Spanish Vixen says:

kitty: for some reason I read that as “action hero” you had me SO excited for a moment. What would the Sugar Daddy action hero look like?

  437. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

a SD action hero would be like King Midas… he can turn everything into gold… because he has a heart of gold… aww

  438. Atlantian says:

Pictures now? How are you all doing this! Do I need to put a picture url under website?

Curious Capricorn, the SD I’m currently with is white, and I’m a black female. I tend to date outside my race though.
Race isn’t an issue for me. Rather it’s how you take care of yourself and what is in your mind.
*shrug* That’s just me though. :-)

  439. flowerpush says:

    Hi all!

It seems like something new irks me everyday about sugar relationships but I can’t give them up.

The newest thing is a man wanting a 18, 19, 20 year old girl and expecting her to act like she’s 35+ years old. The way I see it is if you want a 35+ year old go get one. There are a lot of beautiful ones on the site. I’m not asking a 50 year old man to act like he’s 25, just be yourself. Unfortunately with some of the pot SDs I’ve met I don’t feel like I could be myself if I were with them. I like the Disney channel and all things Disney( I know all the songs on HSM), I love pop music and I put on my Britney Spears album and dance around in my underwear, I’d rather shop at Forever 21 than bebe, I HAVE TO DO HOMEWORK. If you don’t like it then find someone older. You can expect maturity but if you want a 20 year old to behave like a woman with 35 years of life experiences it’s a little unfair.

    What do you guys think?

flower- you were missed last nigh!!
I agree with you. A person should be embraced for all their qualities AND there is nothing wrong with youth!

So, I have been a long time lurker, but have decided to jump in the fray. It has been interesting to be able to get the SB’s point of view on the SD/SB relationship by reading many of the blog posts.

In response to flowerpush…. I don’t expect a 20-something SB to behave like she is 40. I enjoy the youthful energy a younger woman brings. So far, I have not found the SB for me… but I have certainly learned a great deal from the women I have met and in a way, they have made me feel younger… I guess that is in part what us SD’s are looking for a SB.

so I have a SD who wants to meet and then go to his hotel right away. thats a little scary first of all, and pushy. what are your experiences with people that this? anybody?

  443. OCSugarBaby says:

Melissa- He does not sound like an SD to me! Move on the the next one.

You never need to feel pushed, you are in control.

  444. OCSugarBaby says:

Welcome Melissa and Silicon! We are all just trying to find our way…

    sweetfi -

there is a difference between being on the seeking arrangement site and being on the seeking arrangement blog.

i am wonderfully happy in my arrangement and i enjoy reading the blog. the 2 are not mutually exclusive.

  447. just me says:

btw…offers 5-6 k per month, and prefers allowance. anyone who would like more infor can let me know… Steven..what can we do about situations/people like this on this site?

  448. Atalanta says:

    Welcome sweetfi!

I don’t think the blog is necessarily just for searching for an arrangement. I’ve made some friends and consider everyone on here to be my sugar family. I wouldn’t just leave my family when one good thing happened to me, would I?!

We all like hearing the success stories as well as the not so successful ones. We’re all here to help each other out. :-)

Melissa, he’s not looking for an SD/Sb arrangement. Keep moving.
