There’s no more waiting, today is the day many here in the Sugar bowl have been waiting for :D

What would an ideal first message from a potential SD or SB say? Care to write and share?

Did Santa bring you some Sugar? Coal?

Sugar Daddy Blog Holiday Recap:

Let’s revisit the blogs that led up to this special day…

Remember the “Sugar Daddy Wish List”? Did anyone find the perfect gift for ‘the man who has everything’? How did you spoil the Sugar Baby you adore?

I think that we are both on the same page. I also think that you are a very attractive woman and I am interested in getting to know you better. My email is xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com. Please let me know your ideal situation and a bit more about yourself. I really have no expectations about a relationship like this except that everyone is comfortable and happy. I am a laid back, nice, caring person that just isn’t getting what I need at home both physically and emotionally. I am very busy and looking for an occasional outlet. Talk with you soon.

This is exactly what I received from my SD. I think it was PERFECT.

SweetRed… That was so sweet. I am so happy for you!!

    Merry Christmas!!

I must admit that my note was not nearly as nice and sexy as the one Sweetred got, but the response I got back made it not matter! Santa absolutely brought me sugar this year – and early too! OC is an incredible lady – but I’m sure most of you already know that.

    Merry Christmas to all!

OC I am happy to hear that Santa was very good to you this year.

Just seeing the eyes on my son was the best present that I could ever have.

    Once again, Merry Christmas.

Good evening everyone. Just got home from work. very rough day. sad thing is since I haven’t been at the job for one year, I get regular pay, no holiday pay.
Will hopefully see my family tomorrow.
Anyone get any good gifts from your sds or sbs?

If you noticed a lot of comments were deleted on this thread – it is due to a WordPress Spam issue, and many of the recent comments were inadvertently deleted while removing the extremely high volume of spam that’s come through the last couple of days. This kind of thing hasn’t happened before here, and we’ll do our best to see that it doesn’t happen again!!

  11. lisa says:

thanks for clearing that up. I wondered what was happening

  12. sweetredhead269443 says:

We appreciate everything you do stephan!

  13. stephan says:

    ah thank you :)

  14. lisa says:

I am brand new to the site, and I’m finding these forums to be really helpful! I’m used to being the “giver” in relationships(with time, affection, attention, etc.) and I feel like my emotional bank is depleted. I hope I can find someone to SHOW me how much they appreciate my time and attention.

Thanks for all the great posts, everyone!

Here is part of my favorite first email from a pot SD:
    “My name is… and…
My profile is rather brief since protecting my anonimity is important to me and I dont really know if any of this will work.
I run a … I’m looking for a delightful playmate that I can indulge. Would you like to discuss further and see if you would like to be her?
Your profile, desires, pics are delightful and you are quite captivating. Please respond back to me here, and we can see how to get started!”

  19. SouthernGent2 says:

BeautifulBlueGrass – I can do a bit better than that ;-) Actually that approach is similar to mine. I start with the focus on her first, then what interests me, then close to let her know I am serious.

  20. lisa says:

that sure beats “hi you’re hot, wanna IM?

  21. BeautifulBluegrass says:

SG2- you can? What’s your profile # again??? Actually, in his defense, and for the sake of berevity, I did cut out some parts.
    But maybe I’m easy…. er… to make happy :-)

Well, I got a double dose of coal for Xmas. I don’t know why but my personal experiences have shown Xmas to be a rough time in the world of sugar. This year has been no exception.

Generally, I am torn between spending time with my SB and time with the family. I know my SB understands but I can feel her sadness that we won’t be seeing each other much over the holidays and unlikely to celebrate the special days together. So I tend to go overboard with gifts to compensate.

Back to the story about coal …

Sadly, I received an email a week ago from a former SB informing me she was very sick. She thanked me for helping her in her time of need and apologized for the way our relationship ended. The tone was similar to the deathbed confessions you see in movies.

As for my current SB, she revealed that she is a chronic alcoholic and had a heavy dependency on prescription drugs.

  23. lisa says:

I didn’t even get a lump of coal for christmas :(

stay away from the boozers and the druggies, that’s a one way road to hell. I don’t drink anything stronger than cola (well I might have an extra shot in my latte) and I don’t take anything stronger than allergy medicine.
I had a boss one time years ago who was bright and educated but his drug problems (found out he had been in prison twice) came back and he lost everything and is now back in prison. he is so far gone he thinks it’s a joke. Hope the rest of your holiday is better sinceresd, a new year is coming

  24. BeautifulBluegrass says:

sinceresd, does her confession mean she is trying to change? Why did she tell you; what does she need/ want from you?
I am so sorry you have to deal with all this…

  25. sinceresd says:

I apologize for turning this blog into my personal soap opera but I was answering Stephan’s question about Xmas and coal. Don’t feel sorry for me as I’m a big boy and should have seen the warning signs earlier.

    BeautifulBluegrass,
She made the confession in a moment of weakness, explaining her erratic behavior and her feelings for me.
Will she change? My heart hopes she will change but my head tells me she will not. Apparently, she has had addictions in one form or another over the past decade.
I’ll stay close, be her friend (may have to be platonic) and provide support, emotional or otherwise. Sadly, I suspect that our relationship and her feelings for me are driving her to drink even more.

    Lisa,
Thanks for the advise and I understand what you are saying. I went through living hell dealing with a previous SB who is now dying (due to complications from substance abuse).
I wish I could walk away but I do consider her to be a good friend. I’m not sure what I can do beyond moral and financial support but I’ll be there for her.

  26. lisa says:

It is a very tragic situation. My daughter has a friend whom my mom will no longer let hang around with my daughter. this friend has gotten into drugs and sex with various boys (she’s only 17) and is headed for alot of heartache but she thinks she’s cool.
My dad was a lifelong alcoholic and beat my mom, he lived to be old, regardless.
my ex boss is a sad case. he has a degree in English and had a good marriage, home, good job. Last time I seen him for he went back to prison, he was selling flowers on the side of the freeway, a low point, but cocaine rulled his life. I am surprised he has lived to 56 being that he has been in this lifestyle since his 20′s
Best wishes to you and you sbs are very fortunate that you will be there for them, alot of guys (and women) would bail out in this situation.
