  9. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Yes it’s a British accent, it’s changed alot since i’ve been in France though because I haven’t spoken to anybody with a British accent since i’ve been here lol.

  10. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

    I can’t sleep! It’s nearly 2:00 here :|

  11. lisa says:

well I noticed they opened the little shop strip across the street from me, the huge lit up sign is going to make my bedroom a little too light at night. lol I checked it out the other day, just a bunch of junk places, no laundrette or anything I can use, just the usual hair salon, cell phone store, wire money to mexico store, etc. I can’t sleep with lights, gotta have it dark, that is without i’m really exhausted, lol fell asleep on my bed this afternooon with the blinds open. I live upstairs but you can look right into my bedroom from the parking lot, lol

Aww SweetEuro you were so cute. Yeah, that should definitely get the attention of a lot of SDs in Europe, lol. And I love your accent…*thinks about how wonderful it would be to go to England one day*

  29. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

    Thank you everyone! :) *mwahh!*

OC – I’d love to teach you a British accent!!

  30. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

My neighbour, who is a musician, has been singing (or rather screaming!) “eye of the tiger” all morning with a French accent! He’s very out of tune, bless him! LOL :)

  31. NC Gentleman says:

Wow! Nice video SE :) You look great on camera!

  32. lisa says:

Good morning everyone. Slept late today but still work up with this darn headache. Got a call from my mom that my stepdad had a lowsugar incident last night and they had to call the ambulance to revive him. He had such a hard day yesterday, lost his wallet somewhere with his cash, insurance care, drivers license, etc and of course no one turned it in, he thinks he lost it at the mall. Then had to have the paramedics last night.

I got 2 emails from potential sds this morning but neither is in my city.
I thought the first one was in a town near me but it turns out there is a city by the same name in California so he isn’t anywhere in my area. The other is in Texas but has been on this site longer than I have and I wonder why with all he has to offer, he hasnt’ found someone by now, plus he is younger than me and his profile puts too much emphasis on getting married and having kids, which I am not planning to do at my age, get married maybe, but kids at 40, no way. Mine turns 18 in April.
I’m going to write both of them back later but am not sure what to do in each situation. I am a little weary of one of them because I think he’s middle eastern and I was married to a middle eastern man and you really don’t have to do much to offend them and I found myself being verbally abused for things such as saying I love America or eating bacon. And you don’t have to be married to someone to be abused, boyfriends and lovers can do that too, happens all the time in my city.
I’m going to try to think of how to reply as I want to be open to meeting but I’m at a loss on how to reply.

  33. lisa says:

“eye of the tiger” I used to love that song when it came out in 1982 or whenever but now it kind of annoys me, lol

  34. sweetredhead says:

Lisa..Just talk and feel him out. Be positive. Because you had a bad experience with a man of his culture, does not mean all are like him. There really is no need to bring that up to him. Be open minded and just have a conversation. You never know :)

  35. lisa says:

I’m going to write both of them this evening. I’m taking everyone’ advice though and waiting to reply. Plus I woke up feeling really bad, still have this headache and feel tired even though I went to bed at 10 pm and got up at 9 am today. I’m waiting for mcd’s to start serving lunch so I can go get a burger. Also waiting for the rain to come, it’s sunny now.

  36. sweetredhead says:

Lisa I know this will sound funny, but it works. put an ice pack on your neck, full the tub with hot water (hot as you can stand it). Put your feet in the water and the ice pack on your neck. Your headache will go away!! especially if its from stress. It also works on migraines.

  37. lisa says:

this is going to sound odd but I have no ice, lol really I never use ice and don’t even have trays. Makes me really popular when friends visit and ask for ice but that’s just me, sitting around drinking my room temp soda that I never put in the fridge. I’m just going to take it easy today, do the housework tonight. I might try the hot water in the tub (believe me I like it scolding but our water is not that hot, they;ve turned it down to save gas, so more like lukewarm, lol This is one of those headaches that doesn’t really hurt alot, it just makes me feel misserable and nausaus and like not doing anything, just sitting around. I’m going to run over to mcd’s now for a burger, be back soon

  38. sweetredhead says:

    Lisa you crack me up!!!

  39. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I love hang overs…. I haven’t been as drunk as last night for so long~
Ouch~ I am going for a noon-hour breakfast, then prob lounge and watch a movie~

Hope everyone’s having a nice weekend so far :)

  40. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Going to have a mimosa with my breakfast :)

  41. sweetredhead says:

shhhhhhh we will be quiet for you kitty :) Sundays are great for laying in bed watching movies. Even better when you have someone to watch them with. I am off to take a shower. have a great day.

  42. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

LOL Kitty you love hangovers?! I don’t know how you do it! They paralyse me lol

  43. lisa says:

I’m back got my burger fries icecream. ran into a neighbor who told me they arrested the guy who shot and killed the guy in a store on the other side of town last week, he lived downstairs from here, very nice, if the crime isn’t happening here, the criminal lives here.
    Got to eat now

  44. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Mmm I wish I had the energy to go to Macdonalds, I want an iced mocha :|

  45. lisa says:

It’s just across the street from me,
    I went to Mcd’s when I was I nice I think
and some place called Quick when I was in Paris, not sure what I ate but I think it was fish. fast food tastes different in Europe.

  46. lisa says:

edit I went to mcd’s when I was “in” Nice I think
I know there is a place in Amsterdam called McSnack that looks like mcds

  47. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

lol McSnack, that sounds like a McDonalds rip off!!

  48. Nico says:

McDonalds eh? lol….that place makes me ill….although I must admit, the smell of the french fries usually does me in. I’ll just roll up the windows when I drive by ;)

    HAPPY SUPERBOWL SUNDAY EVERYONE!

  49. lisa says:

Well I’m not crazy over mcds but until I find a sd, I can’t afford nice restaraunts with tasty food, lol

  50. Gail says:

Sweet European!!! YOU are beautiful and absolutely love your accent:)

  51. sweetredhead says:

I stay away from fast food. Was busy all day and stopped at mcd for a cheese burger real quick, I felt ill the rest of the day ughh, never again!

  52. lisa says:

I can’t afford anything but fast food, can’t get a burger for a dollar at chilis or anywhere.

  53. lisa says:

I wish I could afford nice food too but I make about 800 a month and rent and water is now 520 , and after electric and phone, and 80 dollar bus fare, not much left.

  54. sweetredhead says:

Maybe one day you can Lisa :) You will find a SD that’s perfect for you. He is out there somewhere :)

  55. lisa says:

Somewhere, but where?? all I get is poor guys trying to pick me up, lol

I had a great boyfriend last year that took me to nice restaraunts, shopping, etc but it didnt’ last long. He kept pushing me to buy a bicycle (to solve my tranportation problems, yeah right, ride a bicycle along the freeway) and get a job as a waitress and work everyday so I could make hundreds of dollars a night in tips, yeah right. He kept bragging about how much his 20 year old daughter made working as a waitress but it’s funny she only kept the job a month and then quit and last time I knew, she was unemployed and living with him.

I haven’t been able to ride a bike since I was about 7 and I don’t think a 43 year with allergies is going to make a good waitress, and I HATE working with the public, they suck, i prefer my low profile job, just leave me alone everyone, lol
Now where is my sugardaddy? I have a craving for seafood

  56. lisa says:

I’m going to go lay down for awhile, not feeling well

  57. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

I hope you feel better soon Lisa. :)

  58. sweetredhead says:

I worked as a waitress for many years. Yes it’s hard work. You do make a lot of many IF you are a good waitress. I made more as a waitress then I do as a medical receptionist. Go figure. Most weeks I brought home over $1,000 a week. I also busted my butt and yes took the crap. I would get home at night and if I sat down I could not move again, every muscle in my body hurt.

  59. SouthernGent2 says:

SweetEuro would make a mighty fine Southern Belle!

  60. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

    SouthernGent2 – I’m flattered! :)

  61. lisa says:

Hi everyone just woke up from a nap, not easy to sleep with all the traffic going by though so I was awake half the time. still not feeling well

  62. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

mm.. had breakfast and went for a nice walk downtown.. feeling much better :)

I got a couple of e-mails, but nothing spectacular… we’ll see where they lead. O, and my ex SD sent me a text today. “guess things changed. We can still stay friends.”

time to find myself a REAL sugar daddy… :)

  63. lisa says:

    I agree kitty
Well I’m going to try to do some housework now, taking breaks in between rooms of course, still feeling lousy

  64. sweetredhead says:

I have had some type of tummy flu the last week, so I can sympathize. Finally stating to feel better :) I figure if I ignore it, it would go away lol. I am not the type to let being sick stop me.

  65. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    that’s the attitude redhead :)

  66. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

ladies… have any of you ever tried a facial firming lotion??
    Any good recommendations?

  67. lisa says:

I have tried various facial firming lotions, body firming lotions (all regular department store brands of course, but haven’t seen any results on any of them.
Bathroom clean, now to the bedroom

  68. sweetredhead says:

I have used several lol. right now I am using Dermitage. Lancome has one, can’t remember the name but it works really well. The one over the counter in CVS that I find good is Aveeno perfectly ageless, I use the face wash and face cream. But shhh don’t tell the men lol

  69. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I just bought La Prairie, The Carviar collection cost me an arm and BOTH my legs. I hope it’s good

  70. lisa says:

well at least you still have your face, lol and any potential sd won’t know if you just post pictures from the neck up, lol
now back to my cleaning, just have the kitchen left

  71. sweetredhead says:

La Prairie Extrait of Skin Caviar Firming Face Complex? Let me know how it works.

  72. sweetredhead says:

I have always used a face cream, since I was 16. My aunt told me its the most important thing you can do for your skin. She was old (well to me at 16) and she looked great so I followed her advice. I am in my 40′s and look like I am 30, so something worked :)

  73. lisa says:

Housework’s all done. Now i’m tired. I would hate to have a big place to clean. at least with me living alone, it doesn’t get too dirty.

  74. Atalanta says:

Face yoga…It’s fun to do. Not sure what the desired effects are, but google it :-)

I do it for fun lol.

  75. sweetredhead says:

I looked it up, WOW my face muscles are sore now lmao. Ok new exercise program added lol. Thank you :)

  76. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I am going to try face yoga

  77. lisa says:

face yoga + headache = bad combination lol

now everybody smile, life your cheek muscles up, pull you lower eyelids up, tried it, headache coming back

  78. bostonTerrier says:

cute video SweetEuropean! your accent reminds me of my close friend’s/boyfriend’s. very nice.

  79. flowerpush says:

    Sweet Euro, you’re so pretty!

I love your two toned hair. Are those extensions?

  80. sweetredhead says:

Is everyone watching the game tonight? blog is dead.

  81. sweetredhead says:

I just got back from a subway run. I am the only woman in the house so I had to go. That’s just so wrong lol.

  82. lisa says:

I’m not I forgot all about it, besides tv’s in the bedroom.
Sent emails to the sds that wrote me. one wrote back already. I’m not sure about him though as he talks alot about intimacy, mentioned it several times in his message, no word about allowance though. He lives in another state too and is of a different culture (not the middle eastern one, this is the other one) so I don’t know. With someone traveling from time to time on business to my city to see me, it would be difficult to work around my varying schedule, if I need a day off I have to put in 2 weeks in advance. So I really don’t know how to respond as i much prefer local sds. I was going to meet a sd way back several months ago and he traveled to my city 2 days a month but never knew until the weekend before and by then i couldn’t change my schedule and as it would be I was always having to work the day he would be in town and the next day too. this was back when I was working 12-9 pm and getting home at 10 pm, couldn’t do much with that and he was staying all the way downtown.

  83. lisa says:

Subway, send me a sandwhich over please, lol it’s rice again for me tonight, all I have in the house, spent my grocery money on the overcharged water bill, but I have to pay for all the families of 8 that crowd into one bedroom apartments, and of course they are eating well with their food stamps. i do have a starbucks card I got in the mail for doing a survey so I will go for a latte and a piece of cake tomorrow, can’t wait.

  84. sweetredhead says:

I will send you the other half of my turkey :)

  85. lisa says:

    thanks :)

  86. sweetredhead says:

My dog just freaked out. Trying to clip his claws with that pedi paws thing. He is NOT happy.

  87. lisa says:

animals don’t like to be groomed. I used to try to brush the dogs teeth when was a kid, it didnt’ work too well. And when they knew we were going to tie them to the tree and bathe them, they would not even come out from under the house even if we showed them a package of meat. my daughter once naired her cat’s head, poor thing had a bare pink head for about a month

  88. lisa says:

Well on potential sd just hit the dust, that is the one that lives in my state.
:( He is looking for someone for weekend get togethers, in his city. I never get a weekend off. Occasional sundays like today but never saturday as that is the day the truck comes in at work and I have to work hard unloading and stocking that day. when I get off work, I’m dirty and exhausted. Still chatting with the other sd though

  89. sweetredhead says:

We give my dog a bath once a week. he goes right in the tub. He likes his bath. He is not a small dog. He doesn’t like the noise I think. He gets scared when I run the vacuum and it sounds like that.

  90. lisa says:

my daughter’s cats hate the vacuum but it’s funny cause when I vacuum my kitchen floor (very effective for getting any crumbs the broom misses0 my little bird doesn’t even stir. I can move the vacuum up against his cage and he just sits calmly. My bird also likes his bath, I put him in the sink with bubblebath and he turns his head and stares at me as I wash him.
Well as I said before I have one potential that i’m talking to. That Dan guy disappeared or lost interest. This guy seems ok, but meeting is another thing with my schedule. My hours are cut but i’m still working the weekend. last week I was off on thur and fri and i was off today sun and tomorrow mon but I had to work sat, so no full weekends for me even I I only worked one day a week you can be sure it would be saturday. That kind of messed up the situation with one of the sds that wanted to do weekend outings. My headache is gone now and I need to go to be soon but am not tired, I shouldn’t have taken that nap. but I can sleep till 9 in the morning.

  91. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Flowerpush – They are extensions lol, they’re normally the same colour as my hair in summer when it lightens but it winter it looks a bit odd :| lol

What’s the Superbowl? I’ve heard of it before but have never known exactly what it is, I take it it’s very popular in America lol

  92. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Sweet Euro: I didn’t even notice that they were extensions.

Superbowl is the final game in the National Football League NFL (not soccer… American Football lol) It’s known for it’s acceptable wings and beer binging. The superbowl fever affects much of Canada as well, several local stores open later during superbowl sundays to accommadate poor gfs and wives that are not superbowl advocates. They call it, Superbowl Sale. I do not part take in the super bowl festivities, as I do not understand the game.

  93. NC Gentleman says:

Kitty nailed the Super Bowl question – advertisements on it cost $100,000 a second because it is seen by so many people worldwide. As a result, you see some great new advertisements — I typically like them as much as the game, but they seemed a little weak this year to me… I suspect ad spending is down because of the economy.

By the way, that kiss at the end of your video is sooo sexy :)

  94. Nico says:

Gooooood Morning Family!! A rather ‘uneventful’ weekend here in SWFL. I am closing on my house today and will be spending the next couple of weeks cleaning and doing some remodeling and then FINALLY I will be moved into my tax write-off *wink*

I’ll be lurking all morning :)

SweetEuropean ~ the superbowl is the grand finale of (American) Football. The two teams to make it to the top battle it out on the field to be the SuperBowl Champions….last night’s game was a good one!

  95. NC Gentleman says:

Congrats on your house Nico! Were you disappointed with the ads this year? The game was very exciting indeed though :)

  96. Nico says:

I was somewhat disappointed in the ads this year and have to agree that the reason they weren’t up to par had to have something to do with the economy. I actually didn’t care much for the half time show although, Jennifer Hudson ROCKED the national anthem….WOW!

Thank you for the congrats :) I didn’t realize how much I missed being a home-owner until I went to do my taxes…lol. It’s a big step for me and I couldn’t be more proud ~ although I’ve owned for more than 10 years there’s a lot of history (and a divorce) so, I am very happy to be where I am in life :) So, THANK YOU :)

  97. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Nc: how could I forget to add that it is one of the most expensive ad. spots in the world. There was an entire section of my media purchasing class that dedicated to the super bowl half time.

NICO: Congrats on the new house! must be exciting! what deco theme are you thinking? modern or traditionoal?

  98. Nico says:

Hey Kitty….thank you :) Deco Theme huh? Well, I already have my furniture…it’s more traditional/comfy/eclectic than anything but, the remodeling is more to make the home livable. It was a bank owned home and seems as though people losing their homes don’t have any concerns when it comes to trashing the place before they move out. So, there’s a lot of drywall repair, some plumbing, flooring and then I’m adding french doors off the master to the back, new air handler etc….and, when there’s more $ in the budget, I’ll redo the kitchen too. Mostly need to make the place livable….but, I love a good project :D

  99. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Nico: I love new projects esp when it comes to home remodeling. I really should’ve gotten into interior design. I can’t wait until I make my first million and build my own house. It’s going to be completely modern very minimalist and WHITE…

  100. Nico says:

Kitty….care to come to FL for the week *wink* Would love another set of hands..LOL. I do have some help when it comes to the labor but I’m not shy when it comes to hard physical work and have remodeled two homes in the past (of course it gets a little better each time). So, we’ll see what magic I can perform on this one. I like your vision though….I will have a Zen room (my Florida room or enclosed lanai/patio). I am pretty heavy into Martial Arts and would love a place to meditate and disappear to the ‘old country’ LOL…I guess we all have our qwirks huh ;)

  101. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Nico: Thank you for the offer. The Canadian winter is making me extremely grumpy and depressed. I think the sunshine will do me good. I don’t mind some physical labor, but I am going to be completely frank with you. I barely know how to use a hammer. Would you trust someone like me with remodeling your home? My vision does involve bright greens, white and silver walls. Think of the “glass house” where the sturcture of the building is white concrete, cieling to floor windows throughout the home. Stainless steel appliances, running water-wall fountains, and I’ve always wanted a tree growing in the middle of my home too.
I am qwirky and weird too :)

  102. Nico says:

LOL…I think it’s a vision and not at all weird…sounds elegant :) My sister just sent me a myspace message that says, “I’m tired of chasing my dreams. I’m just going to ask them where they’re going and meet up with them later.” I LOVE IT!!! Although, I will probably never stop the chase :D

  103. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

think of Richard Neutra’s “the International Style” in LA

  104. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    Never ever stop chasing!

  105. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

look up “Modern glass box” by Thomas Rosznak STUNNING!!! and eco-friendly :)

  106. Nico says:

Very elegant. I personally love overstuffed couches where two people can cuddle up together and watch a movie…or the news…guess it doesn’t matter much. I love the warmth of the dark toned woods and having plush carpet. My bedroom; however, I like simple neutral with white accents. I will not have my dream home on my current budget but with my job and the direction I’m headed it won’t take much longer.

I find that it’s all fun and fine but, without anybody to share it with, there’s minimal gratification (once acheived)….guess we know why they say money cannot buy you happines….just nicer ‘things’.

NEW THOUGHT!! We were talking the other day about Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I went home and watched it (again) the other night and had a new appreciation for the show, but if there were a movie I would love to live out (minus the ‘hooker’ part), it would be Pretty Woman. Richard Geere was enamoured by Julia Roberts and well, it’s hard to put it into words but I want to be Julia Roberts……minus the other parts ;)

  107. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I always say, “I don’t like money, but I love what it can buy” lol

I don’t think Julia Robert’s character ever “prostituted” she was swept up before she had her first client. Right?

  108. Nico says:

Naw….she was a bad girl but I look past that part. At the end when he offers the nice apartment and a plethura of stores to ‘suck up to her’ was like my dream come true and I was YOUNG when that move came out lol….but, I knew that I wanted to have a man in my life that new that some women loved to be spoiled like that.

Odd because the only thing I really enjoy shopping for is shoes and home stores (not much into clothes) but would shop if a man went with me and told me what he wanted to see me wear….that would make a huge difference. I just might be sitting in that chair with nothing more than a tie on when he got back after a long day’s work….LOL

Okay, now I getting bad ;) It’s a slow day at the office so my mind is going crazy ;)

  109. sweetredhead says:

kitty, you not planning on having kids in that white house are you lol. Sounds beautiful, But all I can think of is my 2 boys and a white house…Not a pretty thought. lol In My last house I had white tile floors, what a mistake! I spent my days cleaning floors. And I won’t even mention the dog!

  110. Nico says:

LOL SweetRed….I thought that too but my kids are grown and my dog is 5lbs…nonetheless, I wouldn’t have the patience to keep it up. I like things that hide a multitude of sins. :D

Yeah ~ my avatar loaded :) Now, a face to go with my name ;)

  111. lisa says:

Good morning everyone. Slept late on this crisp morning. I am getting ready to walk to the grocery and then on to meet my parents early this afternoon. Still chatting with the potential sd, but I’m not sure with him being in another state, i’m afraid he might expect me travel to meet him, it seems like all out of state sds that I talk to expect that and well i’d love to but I can’t with my job and since I have no money I can’t take any emergency money if i’m stranded so I have to meet in my area.
Have a good morning everyone, I have to head out soon.

  112. lisa says:

well I have carpet in my apartment that needs to be taken to the nearest dumpster. I dont’ even know what color it is. Right before I was asked to move from my family’s apartment, I had spent alot of money on beautiful new carpet for my daughter’s and my bedrooms. When I left, of course I didnt’ have time to rip it up and drag it with me, I had just spent alot of moeny having it installed. I walked into my new apartment and almost screamed. Grey, brownish carpet with red koolaid stains everywhere and they won’t clean it. I have lived her 3 and half years and it was cleaned over 2 years ago. they claim the carpet shampooer was burned in the office fire so they can’t clean carpets. I am so embarassed when anyone visits as it looks horrible, like I don’t clean or anything. If any potential sd ever saw my carpet, he would probably turn around and walk out the door.
    lol

  113. sweetredhead says:

My boys are 11 and 14 (not to mention all their friends who think this is their second home) My daughter is 19 and away in college. My dog is 50lbs. I think , one day I can have the house I want with no kids to mess it up. BUT then come the grandchildren lmao. Oh well who needs the perfect house when you have family that love you :)

  114. lisa says:

I have no kids in my apartment, no dogs or cats, but my carpet looks like crap. I gotta be going now. get my exercise, 7 blocks to grocery store, 7 blocks back, burning those burget calories.

  115. Nico says:

    Hi-Five SweetRed….you couldn’t be more right on!!

Lisa ~ I wouldn’t worry so much about the carpet (although I can relate). A potential SD shouldn’t come to your house anyway and, after you meet him in a public place and he falls for your beauty, wit and charm he won’t care the condition of your carpet because he’s already fallen for you *wink*

Try area rugs? Carpet remants are also good. I did that once….went to a carpet store and found a remnant roughly the same size of the room for seriously cheap and I laid it down on top of the nasty rental apartment carpet.

Can you not get 2 or 3 days off in a row to visit a SD? Just make certain the ticket is round trip. Once the ticket is in your name there’s nothing that can be done to change it….your security blanket. :)

  116. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

tHERE WOULD BE NO CARPETS! lol… I love dark cherry/mahogony (colored) hardwood!

And who said anything about kids… after my experiences with my friend’s 3 year old. I think I am going to wait a LONG time to have any. I know there’s the unconditional love, care and joys of parenthood. (I see the way my friend looks at her child and vice versa and it is sweet)I just really don’t think it’s my cup of tea… Yet. Perhaps when I find the perfect man to father my child, my view might change.

  117. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Lisa: like Nico said, maybe you can take 2-3 days off in a roll. like in between weeks so it won’t affect your pay check. It might mean having to work 7 days in a roll, but it might be worth it.. Hw could be amazing

  118. sweetredhead says:

My house is nice and nicely decorated. I just can’t have exactly what I want, always have to think can the Boys mess it up or If I put the piece there can it get broken…. My friend comes over with her 3yr old, she is so afraid of letting her go lol. She says my house is always so perfect. I wish!! My husband used to say, this is our home not a showplace. I was working full time then and he used to tell me you would not be so tired if you just let it go once in while. Excuse me if I like a clean house lol.

  119. sweetredhead says:

kittylainy I agree I love dark woods, all my things are dark wood.

  120. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I am obsessed with my prestine … apartment.. too lol..
My roommate claims she’s extremely clean, but that is so far from the truth. Just compare her bathroom to mine and you can see the difference.

  121. Nico says:

    WOOHOO….We’re a buncha clean freaks too…LOL Luv it! :)

  122. sweetredhead says:

freaks heyyyyy I prefer to be called dirt challenged lmao

  123. Nico says:

    HA HA HA :D

  124. sweetredhead says:

kitty my sister is like that. I call her, she tells me she has been cleaning all day. I go to her house and it looks like she just moved her piles around lmao. I hate things laying around. Everything has a place. To me clutter is messy.

  125. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    LMAO

  126. dreamer201176 says:

Lisa- an sd can send you the receipt from the airlines where he buys your tickets and it shows (or should show) that it is both ways, and nonrefundable.. You really have nothing to lose. Just go for 2 days or so. & do you realize how conflicting your stories are? Ive been on the blog for a long time, and I have to say something, bc only a change in lifestyle/attitude is going to make anything better for you. You said your family disowned you for getting a divorce, but you have a stepdad? if this is true, tell your family to suck it up and stay out of your personal business bc they arent any better or deal with how they wrongly misjudge you and let them run your life. Next is, you say you got a new strip mall across the street and the lights are too bright? I thought you lived in a terrible neighborhood with desperate need of lighting? I would take that as a blessing. Theres more, but Im tired of preaching. NC- I liked a few of the super bowl ads… I got a few chuckles in.. But the half time show was lame… Hey Gail! I miss you! Hope your doing well.. Congrats to Kitty and Sweet for having bigger balls than me lol good job girls… :D

  127. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

LOL sounds like you would all hate to live with me! I find it very hard to motivate myself to clean lol I put it off until last minute…. funny, however that once I start cleaning I become obssesed and end up cleaning EVERYTHING! Maybe that’s why I try and avoid it lol

  128. sweetredhead says:

    ut oh :x

  129. dreamer201176 says:

ohhh i do the same thing sweet… Once i start cleaning i get all superman about it and clean everything

  130. sweetredhead says:

I find that if I clean everyday I don’t have he BIg job later. Just seems easier to me.
I can relate though, when I decide to clean out closets or my garage. It ends up a whole day job because I tear apart everything.

That face was suppose to be a closed mouth guy lol

  131. dreamer201176 says:

i was wondering… That smiley is kinda scary.. I need to do my closets right now.. But it will take hours so im putting it off some more

  132. sweetredhead says:

It was suppose to be a : x lol, in reference to your comment about Lisa.

  133. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

LOL Dreamer it’s addictive once you start isn’t it! Very time consuming though!

  134. Nico says:

Off to lunch ladies….thank you for the chat this morning….see you this afternoon :)

  135. sweetredhead says:

Have a good day Nico :)

  136. dreamer201176 says:

oh lol.. Yeah. And its pretty addictive and boring. But its gotta be done :)

  137. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    Have a nice day Nico…

so apparantly, I am a bad SB candidate…
I was looking over some old e-mail’s I’ve recieved, and I failed to reply to A LOT of them, without any real reason. Some of them requested that I add them to messenger.. but I never did and just kind of forgot about them.

Now I am alone :( because I am unorganized.

  138. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Good Morning to all. I missed everyone over the weekend.

Speaking if cleaning, I have to go now and clean the bathroom and kitchen. Then the laundry!! YUCK!!! I have to clean.

  139. sweetredhead says:

It;s cold here in Florida burrrrrrr!!.

  140. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Kitty, it will be ok!! :)

  141. sweetredhead says:

    Morning Jennifer!!

  142. Jenniferbbwsb says:

SweetRed, is it raining on your side of the state?

It is here on my side.

  143. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Jen: we missed you over the weekend too!! and thank you! now I am sending mass, “sorry it took me awhile to add you to messenger……”

  144. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Morning SweatRed, How is the job search going?

  145. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Kitty, Good for you in sending those messages. It should help and show that you are truly sorry.

  146. sweetredhead says:

kittylainy, your not alone. I sent the wrong person a comment on his email. When I realized I sent it to the wrong person he had already blocked me and I can’t tell him I made that mistake. I feel bad now.

  147. dreamer201176 says:

aww Kitty, dont worry, we all do that.. Yeah its cold here, its snowing.. I went grocery shopping the other day and my friends and family thought i ran away to florida bc I had been talking about going somewhere warmer all day. It made me wonder why i hadnt thought of it hehe

  148. Jenniferbbwsb says:

OK, I really have to go now. The bathroom will not clean it’s self!!

  149. dreamer201176 says:

im going to try face yoga.. Be back later :)

  150. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    thanx red and dreamer…

Dreamer: how long did u go grocery shopping for?? lol

  151. sweetredhead says:

    Jennifer, yes it raining.
The second interview I was to have last week is now tomorrow. The other second interview isn’t even set up yet, but he wrote me and said it could be 3 months before they get their licensing straightened out.
Not going well it seems lol.
To many people here in Florida out of work or laid off. The employers are telling me they are getting hundreds of applicants.

  152. sweetredhead says:

Jennifer I am going to tie you down in the chair lmao. By the time I comment back to her Pouf she’s gone lmao

  153. sweetredhead says:

I clean at night , when the kids go to bed. So it’s stays clean till they get home, then it starts again lol

  154. Brown Sugar says:

hey im on now thnx for the invite sweetredhead

  155. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

i clean when my roommates home.. just to guilt trip her

  156. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

mm…. I made a PORK meal last night.. it was so delicious

Pork roast loin with aujus, double baked potato with onions, bacon and cheddar cheese…
    beans and carrots…

    yum

  157. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Hey Brown Sugar!! welcome to the blog :)

  158. sweetredhead says:

Your welcome Brown sugar :) I am sure the girls here can answer your questions :)

  159. Brown Sugar says:

thanx kitty im still trying to figure how to work this thing lol

  160. Brown Sugar says:

well yea back to my question i was wondering if its harder finding a SD being an african american and how are the african american women experience been?

  161. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

ask away.. most of us have been here for awhile :)

  162. sweetredhead says:

On the right side you will see new comments posted and the blog they are on. You can click on there and it will bring you right to the blog everyone is posting on.

  163. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

I am not African American, so I cannot answer that for you.. but there are a lot of amazing African American SBs on the site, I’m sure one of them will be able to provide some insight.
    Good luck :)
    Where are you from?

  164. BettieGirlDD*273192 says:

Kitty.. LOL at the cleaning thing. We’re TOO alike…
Everyone else.. changed my profile, check out the new bettie!

  165. NC Gentleman says:

Hi all — question for you SBs out there….

How do you feel about your married SD wearing his wedding ring when he is with you? My first SBs made it clear that it was not to be seen or worn while she was with me, but I had a meeting with an SB last week and she didn’t care… just wondering how you ladies felt about it. I am always afraid I am going to lose my ring when I take it off.

  166. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

We usual linger in the newest one, but there were 4 new topics this weekend. :)

  167. Brown Sugar says:

im from NEW YORK, LONG ISLAND

  168. Brown Sugar says:

IM TOTALLY starting my new diet today lol im not big but i really wanna be slim anyone have quick ideas by like valentine day who knows i might find a SD by then lol

  169. sweetredhead says:

NC it doesn’t bother me. Most of the Sd’s I talk to are married. its funny I never really thought about that question before.

What happens if you bump into someone you know (it can happen anywhere) If you take off your ring you look guilty. if you have it on, you can always make excuses of being a business meeting.

  170. NC Gentleman says:

Hi Brown Sugar — welcome to the blog. I’m caucasian and I’ve had one date with an African American woman, but we didn’t have chemistry. She was very attractive. I tend to prefer caucasian or asian women, but I am open-minded. I am not sure how other SDs here feel, but I suspect men my age are more likely to date within their own race, but that is purely conjecture. Good luck!

  171. sweetredhead says:

Gojo100, its an acri berry supplement and this one is organic. Has alot of health benefits and you lose weight quickly. AND it’s all natural. You can get it at an organic food store or online. Do a search for gojo100 and check it out. I lost 15lbs and did NOTHING.

  172. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

NC – I think it’s all down to personal preference. I personally don’t mind because I don’t notice things like that lol

  173. NC Gentleman says:

Thanks Sweetredhead — I don’t typically go for local SBs, but that would definitely be an issue if I did. It would not come off then for sure. I met one SB locally and I saw two people that knew me in about 1.5 hours — that was enough to convince me to never do the local date again.

  174. SuthrnExec says:

Welcome Brown Sugar! We have a pretty disparate group on the blog that probably pretty well represents the make-up of the legitimate SA community.

  175. SuthrnExec says:

    Great question NC.

  176. sweetredhead says:

I have a silly question. Why is it that it had to be changed from white to Caucasian and Black to African American. And all the other changes. I didn’t see anything wrong with it before. I have always used “black women” and now I feel like I am insulting someone. Which I would never want to do.

  177. NC Gentleman says:

I actually use both terms Sweetredhead and it makes no difference to me. I can be white or caucasian and I have dated black or a/a women :)

  178. sweetredhead says:

I know with the Sd I was seeing (till his schedule got so busy it just wasn’t working) he was married, I worried more about discretion them him sometimes. I guess it’s because I am a woman and know how woman think. So its easier for me to know how he could possibly be found out lol.

  179. sweetredhead says:

It doesn’t to me either, But we are not African American. I have heard woman go off if called Black. I have never heard any Caucasian going off for being called white. So I was just wondering why that is.

  180. Nico says:

NC ~ I wouldn’t mind if my SD wore his ring. Honestly, I wouldn’t want him to lose it either because it could potentially jeapordize what we had too. I think the tan line where the ring ‘was’ is much more of a dead give-way. ;)

  181. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

Redhead: good point.. we always have to be politically correct. But wouldn’t Carribean-American women be upset because she might be called African-American, but she’s actually from the Carribbean?
What about Asians, we’ve always been asians.. just Asians.. not even Asian-American or Yellow-women…
*rolls eyes* Sorry if my comment sounded ignorant. I’m not at my best today.

NC: I don’t think it matters at all… Outsiders who look that deeply would be judgemental no matter what. I wear a 2 crt diamond ring on my left ring finger everyday (simply because it looks best there) I’ve never been asked if I am engaged.

  182. Brown Sugar says:

Thanx sweerredhead you are very resourceful i must say lol im going to check the acriberry in a few min before i leave for work.

  183. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    NICO: lol…. Great point!! LOL

  184. lisa says:

Hi everyone, just got back from my walk to the market. I sure feel refereshed now, nothing like a walk in the brisk weather to relieve stress.
walked off some junk food so now for the chips and dip.

Dreamer: what actually happened in my situation is that my daughter and I lived with my parents (we were more like roommates cause we moved into the apartment together after my husband left and I shared expenses, wasn’t on lease however because my ex stole everything in the last apartment so my name on a lease would be no help along with me not wanting him to locate me (he worked in the apartment industry so he cuold have located me possibly). I started a relationship 14 years after my marriage ended and well my mom ddidn’t approve. she is divorced and remarried herself but defends herself by saying she was not a born again christian when she divorced and remarried but since her conversion about a couple years after her remarriage, her and my step dad live platonically. Actually my step dad seems like a low libido kinda guy and has been sick for over a decade so i doubt he has much interest and I don’t know about when he was younger but I don’t remember him ever going away, he was always home after work. They don’t sleep in the same room either. so I guess that’s how she defends herself but I don’t think that just because my husband left me when I was 25 that my life should be over.

on rugs I do have one area rug in the living room that I bought a few years back, and anything like that I have to order and have delivered as I can’t just go into a store and buy a rug, it would be hard to get a rolled up rug on the bus let alone carry it.

sweetredhead, I see nothing wrong with black or white, it’s what we are. Most black people I know have never been to Africa and prefer to be called black, and I prefer white over caucasian,.

  185. sweetredhead says:

When it comes to natural supplements and alternative medicine I am a wealth of information lol. Just don’t ask me about stocks and bonds lol.

  186. Brown Sugar says:

NC well yea i guess you opinion is correct about older men dating in their race, but i see men all the time with another race and i think its the most adorable thing i dont know i see it as a sign of peace..>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>GOOD NEWS ALL I RECEIVED MY FIRST EMAIL FROM AN SD im totally over excited lol feel like a kid that just caught santa eating cookies lol

  187. lisa says:

I forget to answer the question about days off. I can’t get 3 days in a roll off because the job I do works around a truck delivery schedule and I have to be at work on wednesdays and saturdays, everyone does to unload the huge truck and stock. I am the newbie there too, only 4 months and can’t get a week off for vacation till sept. so basically they might cut me down to 24 hours a week which is what i’m working now, but I still end up working saturday. I can’t make up for it 7 days in a roll as I wouldn’t be needed on the days that there isn’t much to do.

  188. lisa says:

Kitty I find the term “Asian” kind of misleading too. It is a term that applies to those of oriental decent such as China, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, etc) but it really has a wider definition as it represents a continent, Asia which means that those from the middle east, India, etc would also be Asian but the word is only referred to certain Asian races.
    I guess I’m German-American, or Dutch-American or Sugardaddyless-American, lol

  189. sweetredhead says:

I lived up north most of my life. It was never an issue. But here in the south, it’s a different world. I was never been faced with racism growing up. I had black friends and skin color never came up. But here in the south my kids are faced with it everyday. My son comes home and said he got talked to by the teacher because he called a little boy a black boy and not African American. he was very confused, and didn’t know why he was being reprimanded. So here I am faced with teaching my children about racism. All I have ever taught them was respect EVERYONE.

  190. Brown Sugar says:

Oooohhhh I have to head to work now :( enjoy the rest of your day everyone and if you in NYC you know today is a gorgeous day :) well hope to chat with all of you again shortly xoxox

  191. Gordon says:

Good afternoon everyone, I missed you all over the weekend.

  192. Nico says:

NC and others….a little help. Going to address this differently. What if a SD favorite lists you but doesn’t write an e-mail?

  193. lisa says:

well my family is all mixed. My mom and I are white, my sterpdad Mexican, my daughter half Pakistani, so we have a little of everything. My mom and I have German tempers too, lol

  194. sweetredhead says:

Brown Sugar that’s great!! I remember when I got my first email. Its very exciting. Just remember its not always the first one that comes along that is the perfect person for you. Of course it could be too. Just don’t get discouraged. The right one is out there for all of us :)

  195. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Sweetred – People always mistake me for being Caucasian when i’m actually mixed race (Half English Half Tunisian. My mothers French but is from a Tunisian family) So I prefer the term white because I may be white but I am not caucasian i’m mixed lol
Funny, i’m the same colour as my father in winter and the same colour as my mother in summer lol

  196. Brown Sugar says:

i agree with you Sweetredhead as a “black” /african american , by the way im originaly from france i dont really care how ppl view me as african american or black im just all for peace and respect

  197. lisa says:

Nico, I am on alot of sd favorites list, and none of them every write

  198. sweetredhead says:

Nico, I have written them Saying I seen you put me in your fav, just wanted to say hello (or something like that) Just introduce yourself :)

  199. Nico says:

Good deal SweetRed…that’s what I thought too and have done in the past. My thought is, a busy man, doesn’t always have the time to be too forward but yet is subtly saying there’s potential interest.

    I will drop a line :)

  200. lisa says:

Sweatearopean, isn’t Tunisia a middle eastern country? I have met people from places like Lebanon that speak French, languages seem to vary. My ex husband was Pakistani and spoke urdo and farsi.

  201. Gordon says:

Favorites is not a form of communication, many of us use it as a filing system not as a hello or an invitation.

  202. lisa says:

Sweateuropean, sorry for the mispelling, I’m still on my adreniline high. Can’t still enough to type correctly, lol

  203. sweetredhead says:

I am Italian and french Canadian. American can mean from anywhere. That’s the great thing. We are ALL from other places. Why do we need to separate that.

I agree If we ALL respect each other there would never be a problem. Now if we can just get the rest of the world to except these views, we would all get along just fine lol

  204. lisa says:

Urrhhhhhhh! sorry “Sweeteuropean” my eyes are blurry today too, I can’t spell, waaaaaaahhhhhhh!

  205. sweetredhead says:

Thanks a lot Gordon you just blew it for me lmao.

How are you hun? haven’t talked to you in awhile.

  206. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

LOL Lisa! I think Tunisia is north African but I have heard it being referred to as Middle Eastern before so i’m not completely sure!

  207. sweetredhead says:

I had never heard of farsi, till I met my friend (she is a doctor) and from Iran. She speaks farsi.

  208. Gordon says:

I had a wonderful weekend long sb date. Saw the Superbowl on the couch with sb in my arms. I put her a flight this morning and went for a long horseback ride. I’m home for lunch.

  209. sweetredhead says:

Aww Gordon, that sound wonderful. Glad you found the right person for you.

  210. Gordon says:

Tunisia is a North African country with a mid-east culture.

  211. BettieGirlDD*273192 says:

Brown sugar, Its exciting but you’re probably going to need a little patience as you figure it out. Theres a balance of how to get a sense of a Sd and get to that first meeting without letting the pic-collectors and phony sexychat loiterers waste your time.. and telling the difference without being too impatient and throwing out some good oranges with the bad apples. Remember to have fun searching!

  212. bostonTerrier says:

    Brown sugar, Hi!

I am a black or African American … I do not care which is used … sugar baby. I have not had any problems finding a sugar daddy, to be honest I had a hard time picking which guy I wanted. I thought race would have been an issue at first but it was not. I find black men so much more attractive and thought my SD would be black … I do find my fair share of white men to be good looking though … they just do not age as well – I am biased. That said lots of men have emailed me, shockingly only one black guy, and I met quite a few and I found my perfect SD. In all honesty, if you are attractive and smart you will be just fine. Good luck!

  213. Gordon says:

I have the right boat, dog, horse and sb (alphabetical order) all is well.

  214. lisa says:

SweetEuropean, I think it is in north Africa, and I think arafat was tunnisian so it must be somewhere near the middle east, I’m not sure, gotta get my map out, lol

Farsi is an Iranian language. My ex was from Pakistan but had friends from the various middle eastern countries and India. There were the Muslim Indians though, not the hindus.

I got to be getting ready to go out again now, leaving in have an hour to meet parents on the bus and then to meet daughter after she gets off work. It’s easy to spend time with my parents as long as we are on neutral ground, but we can’t be under the same roof. I feel bad for my dad as he lost his wallet last week and no one has turned it in at the mall or on the bus. What kind of person keeps a wallet without turning it in of an old disabled man? he had his insurance cards, medicare, drivers license (he doesn’t drive anymore but needs it for ID), and the 50 dollars he had to spend. along with free bus pass and all. My parents are going to have to run around all over town this week to get everything fixed and buses dont’ run very close to the ss or dps offices, dad walks with walker so it’s kinda rough.
    Gotta get ready now

  215. BettieGirlDD*273192 says:

I think the difference is black is a physical description as in “you remember Al, the black guy we met at the mall..” whereas A/A is when youre taking about the social context of race in america. i.e. people in america from african descent.
I think it’s weird when people whisper black like it’s a bad thing. And its both ignorant and just plain funny when someone says that and the person doesn’t live in America…

  216. Gordon says:

Boston Terrier, I am white and have aged well, just look at the picture in my icon. ;-)

  217. sweetredhead says:

Good point Betty. I have been lucky to talk to some really nice men on here. And yes some weirdos too. I will be having a meeting in the next few months. (he is out of state) But I will keep the details to myself as he reads the blog lol

Hi Nico — if an SD lists you as a favorite, go ahead and email him. He may just be putting out a feeler and doesn’t like rejection. I almost always hear back from the SBs that I email when I see they have added me as a favorite!

    Go get him, girl! :)

  219. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

NC: what if they added you as their fav, and you e-mailed them, but nothing back?! Confusing eh?

  220. NC Gentleman says:

yeah — confusing as hell and it happens quite a bit. I think a good deal of people (both SDs and SBs) on here aren’t too serious about finding an arrangement, and they just like getting email and attention — just my opinion for what it is worth.

  221. bostonTerrier says:

LOL Gordon. I see your point and I did say some white guys look good … age just doesn’t treat most of them as well, but yes you do look good for your age whatever it may be

  222. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    “eh”…. I am so Canadian…

NC: Maybe you’re right, but he’s been on the site since Nov! and checks regularly! That’s just sad :( I e-mailed him again.. perhaps I will get something back.

    Can non-paying daddies recieve e-mails?

  223. lisa says:

or they are picture collectors … or created a fake profile and can deliver the goods at an actual meeting, lol

  224. NC Gentleman says:

Non-paying daddies can only read a maximum of 10 emails IF they have a picture posted — otherwise not email reading. You cant send an email if you aren’t premium.

  225. sweetredhead says:

Yes non paying “daddies” can receive emails :) But I wonder sometimes, If they say they have all this money and they can’t even pay for a membership? I am a SB and I pay for a membership, go figure lol

  226. lisa says:

Kitty I don’t think non paying sds can send or read emails, receive yes but not read, at least I have never received a response from any non paying sd I have emails and since they never paid, they never read my emails either.

some people also put up profiles on every site there is. I have seen some that are on the e-blah sight, a couple other regular sites, free sites, sex sites, etc. Back in the days of phone dating (if anyone remembers those telematch or telepersonals sites of the early 90′s) I ran into guys that were on the serious dating site and they were all religious and quoting the bible and then they would also have a profile on the erotic adventure catagory talking about everything they wanted to to a woman, talked about mixes signals. some people just play on these sites

  227. sweetredhead says:

Oh thanks NC I didn’t know that oops. Thought they could read them just like us SB who are non paying.

  228. lisa says:

I had one guy who wanted me to dominate him over the phone, lol
so I ordered him to go to the nearest grocery store and purchase a whole basket of feminine products and ask customers around him for advice about which to choose, well I never heard back from him, guess I scared him away or maybe he wanted me to get out the whip

  229. sweetredhead says:

    LMAO@ Lisa. That’s too funny.

  230. sweetredhead says:

I have to figure out what I am going to wear to my second interview tomorrow. It’s cold here in Florida and most of my cloths are light weight. I have a great long skirt and boots…Maybe I will go shopping later for a new shirt to go with it lol. My answer to everything just buy a new one lmao.

  231. lisa says:

It was funny, he left me a first message saying he was wearing a skirt and high heals, it’s odd cause he had this strong military officer type voice and he was wearing a skirt, lol

Well I gotta go now, bus come in 15 minutes. Be back around 6. Have a great afternoon everyone. Gotta have my green tea latte.

  232. sweetredhead says:

If I get the job I will be wearing scrubs. I have some great new scrubs, really cute. But this job, you have to wear plain green ewwwww.

  233. lisa says:

it’s warm but with a cold wind in Houston so i’m wearing aberbercrombie and fitch, mini skirt , camisol, and chunky sweater.

    Bye now

  234. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

HA! Lisa, your stories always make me laugh!!

  235. Gordon says:

It’s time for me to run errands, I will try to check-in tonight.

    Bye

  236. BettieGirlDD*273192 says:

Lisa i gotta point out that with the guy on the party lines cruising the religious and erotic sections… you were doing the same, non?

  237. sweetredhead says:

Have a great day Gordon :) I should too, but still not feeling to well :( so I am being lazy.

  238. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

    Bye Gordon!

  239. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

    Bye Gordan!

  240. Nico says:

LOL ~ Thanx NC :) plan on it now *it’s official* just closed :)

Gordon ~ sounds like you had a wonderful weekend despite the chill but the company more than made up for it :)

  241. NC Gentleman says:

wooohooooo Nico — that is exciting. I put an offer in on a lake house this morning but someone else put an offer in too, so I have to wait and see how it plays out. I have been looking for about 1.5 years for one I liked… keep your fingers crossed for me :)

  242. Nico says:

Fingers Crossed!! It doesn’t matter how many times you sign the papers there’s a certain sense of accomplishment when done…at least for me. Lake house…sounds nice! GOOD LUCK!

  243. Mina says:

    Busy morning on the blog…

  244. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

    Congrats Nico!!!
    Good luck NC!!

Mina: it’s Monday morning.. everyone’s procrastinating at work lol..

I want someone to come give me a surprise visit at work… *wink*…

  245. sweetredhead says:

Good luck on the lake house NC. Fingers crossed you get it.

  246. Mina says:

Lol with the way you guys & gals chat, I often forget you have jobs.

  249. gurlnextdoor says:

Hey all, just checking in on the blog. I have a date with a potential SD tonight and I’m pretty excited. Hopefully all will go well, although I must say I’m hoping he’s not the one for me as I’m still banking on another SD who lives up North, lol.

  250. Mina says:

Nothing wrong with having two SDs, gurlnextdoor. ;)

  251. Nico says:

Gurl ~ good luck either way!!!

Kitty ~ what’s that you posted???

  252. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

    good luck gurl! :)

  253. Nico says:

Silly question….how do you ‘view’ somebody’s profile by their Profile #?

  254. gurlnextdoor says:

NC Gent good luck on getting your lake house.

BostonTerrier I guess I’m the exact opposite of you, lol. I’ve always been attracted to white guys more than black ones. Not saying that I’d never give a black man the time of day, but my preference seems to lean towards white. In fact, all but one of my potential SDs has been white now that I think of it, lol.

  255. BettieGirlDD*273192 says:

Oooh NC good luck. My mom and stepdad bought a foreclosed lake house and totally gutted it. it was on the market less than a day, and had bats living between the studs. Now its totally fixed up and incredible.

    I’m avoiding work, too.

  256. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

Nico: a bunch of us SBs are going to Las Vegas :) It’s a lil sugary trip :) We’re looking for people to join us for partying and what not :)

  259. Mina says:

kittylainey – Sounds fun. I bet you girls would get into all kinds of trouble, lol.

  260. Nico says:

Kitty ~ that could be fun and dangerous all at the same time *evil grin* When is the trip planned for?

  261. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

Mina: would u like to join us? I think we need to think of a rescue plan in case one of us end up in jail… lol… for whatever reason lol

  262. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

The last weekend of Feb… oo it’s be so devious!!!!!

  263. Mina says:

kittylainy – I’ll be in South America for Carnaval then :)
I’m a little burned out on Vegas as it is. I usually just go for shopping (as I did this past weekend) and the partying wears me out after only a night!

  264. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

Mina: aww too bad.. but Carnaval is FUN!!! (so I’ve heard) what are the best shopping places in Vegas?

  267. Mina says:

I always stop at the Forum Shops and Via Bellagio. However, I have expensive taste so I may not be the best person to ask.

  268. chocolatevenus says:

Hey girl I am on the other side of the pennines in Leeds! We will have to do something when you are next home.

I bet you are happy to be missing all the snow? It is amazing how this country still comes to a standstill when it snows!

Mina: when I staied at Ceasar’s palace, I visited the forum shops everyday! :) There was a “fashion show” or something like that across the Wynn.. is that any good? And I think here’s also shopping inside the Planet Hollywood. Didn’t get a chance to go though.

CV: hey!! Missed ya around here

  270. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Ha, I read in the Daily Mail that 1 in 5 people have called in sick today. Britain just can’t function in snow! I’m actually jealous of the snow, it’s been raining here in Nice and snow would have been alot more fun!
I used to go to Leeds alot, my parents had friends there that we would stay with every now and again, I have friends that are at university there too! I haven’t been in a long time though!

  271. chocolatevenus says:

Hi ya Kitty! Missed you girl! I try not to come on too often or I would be addicted, staying up all hours to catch you girls lol x

  272. sweetredhead says:

chocolatevenus ask stephen for my email. I will send you the link to the site where I buy it from.

STEPHEN….Please give chocolatevenus my email address pleaseeeeeeeee and thank you!!

How has acai been a berry my whole life and I just heard about it 6 mo. ago? I used to shop at the international farmers market.. I’ve seen my share of exotic produce..

  277. Atalanta says:

    NCGent,

    To your wedding ring question:
I actually was just thinking about that the other day. My SD was wearing it on our date, and I did feel a bit awkward. I don’t really think I’d expect anyone to take it off if they insist on keeping it on.

I dunno. I still don’t want to think about his wife while I’m there, though, ya know?

And I don’t really care what anyone says about me. I don’t really see in color. Just in sexy and smarts. lol

  278. BettieGirlDD*273192 says:

Where are we staying in Vegas? My date got food poisoning baaaad from the Eiffel Tower restaurant up at the tippy top of Paris but that meal was so good I’d go right back there today.

  279. chocolatevenus says:

Bettie hi ya, i have been hearing about it acai (goji) berries for the last 12 months I has been touted as a super food!

  280. Nico says:

SweetEuropean….I think 1 in 5 Americans called in sick today too….they just cannot function after a Superbowl party ;)

  281. SweetEuropean*264271 says:

Eugh, the DVD player broke so my mum’s stealing my computer from me to watch Columbo of all things! I could probably survive the next hour if I wasn’t so addicted to this blog! I’ll be back soon!

  282. sweetredhead says:

Acai Berry is an Incredible Nutritional Break-Through hidden deep within the heart of the Amazon Rainforest from Westernized society for centuries, we feel privileged in having the opportunity of finally introducing Acai Berry (ah-sigh-ee), the “Brazilian Mega-Nutrient,” throughout the World.

I will PM u with that info bettie…..

  284. Mina says:

Yes, it’s called the Fashion Show Mall. It’s like any mall in any major city so I generally don’t go, especially since I prefer the high-end stores.

  285. BettieGirlDD*273192 says:

sweetredhead have you been taken over by the acai growers association as their spokesperson?

    Thanks kitty!

  286. sweetredhead says:

I know lol, I sound like an ad. But I have found this stuff so wonderful :)

  287. chocolatevenus says:

Nico that is a good statistic, it was 1 in 5 people took the day of work today because of the bad weather in the UK ( It snowed) ..lol

  288. sweetredhead says:

BUT the only one I can recommend is the Gojo100

  289. chocolatevenus says:

Sweetredhead is there are particular type i should be looking for? I know sometime it is hard to get people to ship to the UK! Also with the weak pound it will be cheaper to buy it over here if i can find it x

    CV x

  290. sweetredhead says:

Oh crap sorry guys its goji NOT gojo. Goji100, try looking up that chocolatevenus

  291. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

    lol @ redhead

…. it’s so warm and sunny here today!! how is it there Bettie in ur city? I want to leave work so I can enjoy my day…
there’s always a weather reltaed reason to call in sick.

“it’s too nice out to be in the office”
    “it’s too cold”
    “it’s too snowy”
    “roads are too slippery”
    “it’s too rainy, can’t see”
“it’s too windy, my car almost got blown off the road”

  292. sweetredhead says:

I can buy it in organic food stores here. Do you have them there? Yes its a certain brand.

  293. Mina says:

Lol my expensive taste and extensive wardrobe is all courtesy of my SD ;)

  294. sweetredhead says:

The company needs to pay me for advertising lmao.

  295. chocolatevenus says:

Yes we do have organic food stores, but i cannot see that brand on online uk ones. I think i will look for a 100% juice brand. It was the juice you were taking? Thanks Sweetredhead!

Will be sending you a pressie if i lose weight x CV

  296. Gail says:

  302. sweetredhead says:

    Yes its the juice

  303. Gail says:

  305. sweetredhead says:

yes they are $35.00 each, but worth it :)

  306. Mina says:

Congrats, Gail! I’ve always been a fan of Tiffany’s, my parents give me a piece from there for every one of my birthdays (starting in my early teens) so everything has a great story behind it.

  307. chocolatevenus says:

Gail that is awesome that your SD would send you that type of gift!

  308. Gail says:

I have several small diamond pieces but ntohing much Tiffany’s…

  310. Gail says:

He also bought me my computer. I had only lunch with him 1 time, but we talk everyday. He has been my friend thru some of my hardest times. And ladies it is strictly platonic:) There are great SDs on this site. I have been very fortunate to have crossed paths with him:)

  313. Nico says:

You know, quick thought before I disappear….has the site ever hosted a meet and greet in Vegas? Or anywhere for that matter?

  314. Mina says:

  315. Gail says:

And it is possible to enjoy you life and what life has to offer:) I do…

  320. Nico says:

Kewl….well, if my money tree blossoms by then I’ll try to meet up. It would be nice :) GOOD NIGHT :D

  321. flowerpush says:

Gah, it took me FOREVER to read all that lol.

    Hi Everyone!

On the race thing: Race is not an issue for me but I have received numerous e-mails from weirdos that “want a black woman to dominate” or disrespectful jerks that say “you’re pretty for a black girl.” ugh. None of my pot sds have been black because with my experience they usually want a white woman. rofl

I’m meeting with a pot sd on the 5th and I’m really excited about it. Wish me luck!

  322. Gail says:

LOL@Gordon. BTW you are a handsome fella on your pic…and sounds like you had a great time with you SB:)

  323. Yasmine says:

Hi everyone!!!! It took me a while to read everything! Nice Job Kitty! :)
We are still looking for SDs who want to join us for the Vegas trip :) Come on guys!!!!! It will be your chance to meet fabulous, smart and gorgeous sugar babies hehe :)
Concerning the race issue all my emails have been from white men 40 and older lol Only one from a black man and he asked me :”are you open to black men?” HUH?!? LMAO
I do not see color and I guess they dont either but I also understand people who want to date within their race. :)
LOL at lisa “sugardaddyless american” I like that ahaha

  324. flowerpush says:

I just read the profile of a guy that said, “If you’re with me you must be ready to go out on a 10 minutes notice.” What the heck?! How inconsiderate.
Do these men think that we’re so desperate for money that we’ll do whatever they say?
Some SDs are really ego tripping.

  325. Yasmine says:

LOL flowerpush does he live in Vegas? I think I read his profile too!

  326. flowerpush says:

Lol no. He lives in Canada!

  327. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

flower: Afternoon darling! :) Good luck on ur meet.. is this ur first sd meet??
I get some random disrespect e-mails too eg) “I love Asians” or “I’ve never f-ed an Asian before.” what DO I say to that?

  328. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

i’VE PROB READ HIS PROFILE LOL… whats his name?

  329. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

forum it to me :) ;)

  330. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

Yasmin: I am just ms. PR extrodinare

  331. Yasmine says:

Lmaoooo Kitty I got those kind of emails too lol but on another site, I just ignored them. I feel like being very disrespectful but they are men of a certain age ( think 45-60) and if they talk like that to women on a dating site then they have no respect for themselves. Just ignore them.
On repond aux imbeciles par le silence! ( Answer imbeciles with your silence lol)
    Dont entertain stupidity.

  332. flowerpush says:

Hey Lainy! Yep, it is my first meet and I hope it works out. -crosses fingers-

I’m foruming his profile number right now lol.

  333. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

yasmin: that’s what I did… lol.. just speechless lol

Flower: yay!! btw ur under 21 right?

  334. chocolatevenus says:

Yasmine, good answer. I just remember I am a lady and normally reply saying something like,

“Thank you for your email. I am not they type of woman you are looking for. Good luck with your hunt!”

Polite and straightforward! Probably too polite, but I feel happier to rise to them.

Sometimes they send messages like that just to get a reaction!

    CV x

  335. Yasmine says:

Good Luck Flowerpush!!! :) I need a SD for Valentines Day :(

  336. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

    Yasmin: me too.. :(

  337. flowerpush says:

I am under 21 and I totally didn’t get what Sam meant when he said get “over 21 id” :O Does that mean get a fake id? I don’t want to go to jail rofl.

I get a lot of messages from men that don’t want to “help” or “spoil” they want to control and use their money as the method of control. That’s not for me. Luckily those guys are pretty upfront about what’s really going on in messages if not on their profile.

  338. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

u won’t go to jail silly.. the worst they would do is not let you in…
so.. we gotsa take care of u.. hmmm…

  339. Gordon says:

Flower, yes that is actually what Sam meant, a fake ID.
There is so much in Las Vegas that is restricted to over 21, even sitting at a slot machine. No one goes to jail for a fake and they are readability excepted at Hard Rock, Palms and Mandalay Bay.

Warning: At the airport, have it hid away in your checked luggage and don’t show it to airport security.

  340. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

    good advice Gordan

  341. flowerpush says:

You don’t go to jail for that? wow. I thought for sure you did. I have no clue where to get one of those. I’m a goodie two shoes. Don’t I need connections? rofl, I sound so lame right now.

I have not been paying attention to the Vegas post, who is going, when and what casino?

  343. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

    Hoping for more :)

  345. flowerpush says:

None of my over 21 friends look anything like me… :(

I’ve been told I look like everybody and nobody. I have distinct features and they would usually give me away with something like that.

  346. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

would u like to be the SD to accompany us?

  347. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

Flower, try.. and I will try for u too! :)

  348. Gordon says:

    what dates? what casino?

  349. Mina says:

flowerpush – A friend of mine once offered a woman at a mall (who looked somewhat like her) $40 for her ID. The woman turned out to be 29 and my friend was only 17 at the time but it worked out quite well.

  350. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

feb 17th -march 1st we’re staying at an undisclosed casino….. we will let u know when u are forsure coming :) (and don’t want to say on the blog too.. just in case )

  351. Gordon says:

Do you mean Feb 27th or are you staying two weeks ;-)

  352. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

    yes feb 27.. sorry

  353. Gordon says:

I just checked, the town is busy that weekend but not packed.

I’ll let you know if I am in by tomorrow.

  354. sweetredhead says:

I have a question for the Sd’s or Sb if they know. Say an SD wants to give you an allowance and deposit in your account each month. Won’t the bank repor the money being transferred, and you get taxed on it? How does something like that work?

  355. sweetredhead says:

Sounds like you all are going to have a wonderful time. Now I want to go :( Stop teasing the rest of us lol.

  356. Beach says:

It will not be reported when transferred in, however if you ever get audited by the IRS they would be really interested in where it came from.

  357. sweetredhead says:

Thanks beach, always wondered how that would work.

  358. Beach says:

Cash, Western Union Wire Transfer, even Paypal or check that is cashed but not deposited is less prone to raise a red flag. People can give “gifts” up to a certain amount, but it does grab attention and raise some potentially embarassing questions.

  359. sweetredhead says:

Btw Hi :) where have you been, haven’t seen you on the blog much.

  360. Beach says:

Just taking a quick work break to check the blogs, have been less productive this afternoon, so really should get back to work.

  361. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

uhoh.. would paypal save some of that hassel?

  362. Gordon says:

Sweetred, the banks report transfers over $10,000. If you have an account at a large national bank, plus one at a community bank, plus a PayPal or stock account, your sb can deposit 9,000 in each account each month.

Be sure to take your sd out to a nice dinner every month and pick-up the tab.

  363. Beach says:

That real life stuff takes up so much time, and working to support an SB habit I an trying to develop ;-)

  364. sweetredhead says:

We miss you here on the blog :)

  365. Beach says:

If you have the paypal transferred directly to your account, no, it would have the same issue. If you used it to pay bills, shop, etc. I would more likely be ok.

  366. Beach says:

    Thanks :-)

  367. sweetredhead says:

Good advice Gordon. But that wasn’t a personal question, was just wondering.

Good luck with that Beach, I am sure she will be one lucky Sb.

  368. Gordon says:

The rain has stopped and Brynn wants to play in the puddles.

    Bye

  369. Beach says:

Sure I will be lucky too, though not sure I can put $9000/month in all three accounts, hehe.

  370. sweetredhead says:

Gordon mr money bags SD lmao. I am sure most Sd’s would not be doing that either lol

  371. flowerpush says:

What is the best way to get your allowance transferred? I would not feel comfortable with cash. Coming into the bank with $2,500 in cash? That would feel weird.

  372. Jenniferbbwsb says:

    Good Evening everyone.

I am so tired. I am about to fall asleep writing this! With the weather change, I am getting sick again. Yuck!!

Stephen please give my email to SweetRedhead. Please!!!!! Thank you so much!!

  373. sweetredhead says:

I wasn’t talking about myself personally. was just wondering how that would work.

  374. Jenniferbbwsb says:

I am now up to 109 SD’s that have looked at my profile! I couldn’t believe that I broke 100.

  375. sweetredhead says:

I have 101 look at my profile and 7 that added me to fav lol.

  376. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Do you all remember a few blogs back where everyone was listing what they wanted from their SD. I never quite got the chance to make my list.
    So here it is:
    1. Respect
    2. Encouragement
    3. Lasik eye surgery
    4. help with making good investment choices
    5. to teach me something about myself
    6. to save up enough money to send my son to private school (kindergarden $7,000)
I don’t want or need much. Just to have fun with someone who really wants to be with me.

  377. Jenniferbbwsb says:

    No favorites here!!

  378. sweetredhead says:

I don’t have a wish list, I am open to possibilities.

  379. Jenniferbbwsb says:

Oh.. someday my SD will come.. isn’t that like a Disney song! LOL

  380. sweetredhead says:

I think that is prince lmao

  381. Jenniferbbwsb says:

I really wouldn’t say mine is a wish list. Mostly things that I want not only out of a SD relationship, but in life in general!!

  382. Jenniferbbwsb says:

I am not a cinderella, don’t have the hair or the body! LOL

  383. Jenniferbbwsb says:

I guess we are the only one’s left at this time.

  384. Jenniferbbwsb says:

I have 3 emails out and they have not been read yet. One is from back in December! I can be very impatient at times!!

  385. sweetredhead says:

Where did everyone go? Beach is working for his SB lol. Gordon is playing in puddles using his dog as an excuse lol.

  386. sweetredhead says:

Look at the date they were last signed in. I noticed one was from back in 06 lol

  387. Jenniferbbwsb says:

I was about to say, where did you go!

  388. Jenniferbbwsb says:

They have all been in the last few weeks. The one was back in December, was signed on in December.

  389. Jenniferbbwsb says:

I am off the do some searching.. time to look a some new profiles. you never know!!!

  390. sweetredhead says:

I am here, the kids just keep coming in.

  391. sweetredhead says:

    Good luck :)

  392. Gordon says:

I am shocked that Sweetred thinks I would use my dog as an excuse.
I only use her to meet women ;-)

  393. Gordon says:

Flower. tens of thousands of waitresses and bartenders walk into banks every month with $2,500 or more, the tellers don’t think anything about.

Most sds can just wire the money into your account, but married sds use cash to prevent a paper trail.

  394. flowerpush says:

    Oh ok. Thanks Gordon!

  395. Brown Sugar says:

hello, im back from work relaxing, anything exciting hows everyone?

  396. lisa says:

Good evening everyone, just got home.

Bettie, true I was checking out all the catagories for amusement (this was way back 15 years ago, when I was sillier, lol) but I only posted in the serious relationship section. And I had more than one guy contact me with a completely different message and profile although it was the same guy (same voice, tone, etc) and his messages were really conflicting, lol.
I am just a little weary of anyone that posts in two completely different catagories, lol

It was a beautiful day here today, too bad it will be really cold when I leave for work early in the morning. I had a good visit with parents, a latte and met my daughter when she got off work. Tired now and waiting to respond back to the emails I have in my inbox (they are from the 2 sds I am chatting with).

On allowances I prefer cash as I can’t really risk having money in the bank, not that I ever do after paying bills. I have collection agencies threatening me for credit cards I can’t pay for the past 2 years and I wouldn’t want to have money in the bank in case they got a judgement and froze my account, cash for me please, lol. The credit card bills are from charging dental surgery for me twice and for emergencies that came up from time to time, having to live in a motel for almost a month till I got my apartment, etc.

  397. Brown Sugar says:

sweetredhead i went to look for the drink is it acai berry or gojo10?

  398. Brown Sugar says:

    wheres everyone

  399. lisa says:

I think I scared them away, lol
I think they were chatting all afternoon while we were out and are resting their fingers now

  400. Jai says:

    Hey everyone,

Just stopping by to say hello. I checked into a better hotel for this week (thank God) lol. Who’d have thought looking for a place to live would be soooooo exhausting? Ugh. I’m off to have 3 glasses of a cheap pinot (exactly 3, no more no less :P ), light some candles, and have a relaxing bath in my room…all alone. I thought my SD would be coming down for a few nights this week, but he has other business :) ah the life of an SB. Always on borrowed time lol but I like it. When you do get to see each other, it’s even more fun because of the anticipation. Has anyone else experienced that? How do you deal with the time apart? Enough of my tired run ons lol hope everyone is having wonderful evenings.

  401. Jai says:

    I’m here guys! :P well, I’m leavingnow, but I was here! :)

  402. lisa says:

    Have a great evening Jai

  403. Gordon says:

    Lisa,

I’m keeping an occasional eye on the blog tonight.

  404. sweetredhead says:

    Goji100

  405. sweetredhead says:

Lmao@Gordon using his dog to pick up woman.

  406. Brown Sugar says:

Jai that sounds like fun and very relaxing and lisa you right i think everyon fingers are tired while we were busting our rear ends at work lol

  407. sweetredhead says:

That is the difference between a regular relationship and being an SB. What you will tolerate in a sd/sb relation may not be something you would in a regular relationship.

  408. lisa says:

Gordon is watching over us on the blog tonight, that’s sweet :)

well walking home from the store earlier today I passed two groups of men who had their eyes pinned on me. As hard as it was , I ignored them, lol I mean which should I chose the illegal alliens standing on the corner drinking beer while waiting for someone to pick them up for day labor or the construction workers that were deep in the mud? Neither ares sugardaddy material, lol

  409. sweetredhead says:

Well one of the differences lol

  410. sweetredhead says:

I don’t know Lisa, City construction workers don’t make bad money :)

  411. Brown Sugar says:

Okay, like i mention before im new to here its like my 4th day, well ayways im wondering what should i email these SD exactly any hints ideas lol school me please ladies

  412. sweetredhead says:

    What did he mail you?

  413. sweetredhead says:

Or is the one that added you to his fav?

  414. lisa says:

I dont’ think the construction workers in my city make that much money, maybe the highly skilled ones but not these. My dad worked in construction for many years and made minimum wage. The vast majority of the men that live in my apartment complex either work in construction or in a restaraunt and the fact that they live piled up 6 people to a one bedroom apartment (they dont’ even have their own place) and either take the bus to work or ride with others in those vans that come by to pick them up, I doubt they make much money. The last thing I want to date is a man who lives in my apartment complex and doesnt have a car. I already know a terrific person that fits that profile, “Me” lol I might as well date me. lol

  415. Gordon says:

    Brown Sugar,

If you see a profile that interest you, don’t wait for him, go ahead and write. Tell him what you liked about his profile and what you may have in common.

I always wrote too formal, you a woman go ahead and soften up your letter.

  416. sweetredhead says:

Just introduce yourself. Make reference to something he said in his profile. (then he knows you read it) Tell him a little about yourself and what you may be looking for. Be yourself :)

  417. lisa says:

I just read the two emails from the potential sds. The one that lives in my state said weekdays can work for him but as I said before he is younger than me and most likely looking for a serious relationship, marriage and children and well marriage would be great but at 43 I do not want children.
He isn’t looking to pay anyone for their time either so i don’t know that he is really a sd, afterall he’s been on this site for a year at least. The second one from out of state seems ok but his Enlish seems kind of off. He says he has been in the US since he was a child and attended school here so I would think he wouldn’t speak in broken English. It just kind of bothers me and also there is no pictures of him.
He wants me to call him but I will have to have him call me since I don’t have long distance service on my phone and can’t afford them either. Not sure about giving out my phone number though.

  418. Brown Sugar says:

well he told me that i was cute and that hes married if thats okay baically i emails him i said well how is he doing on this gorgeous day i told him he was handsome and that hes persoanl relationship with hes wife wont be a problem oh and i mispell hope i wrote hoe lol i guess that was a negative for spelling i dont know :( and thanx GORDON i do try to write soft i sent a few email none of them have been read yet and how does this premium thing go is it a monthly payment or a one time deal ?

  419. JustMe says:

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to all of you. Love reading the blogs but took almost an hour before I actually got to the bottom!! LOL Lots of great topics here!

  420. lisa says:

I just got another email from one of the sds. He wants to know when I can fly to meet him. And says some other stuff that makes me feel like he’s playing. I’m not sure how to respond as i can’t just fly somewhere and we haven’t even talked much or discussed anything, I would feel more comfortable on myown turf. I would have a situation trying to explain to my daughter and family why I wasn’t answering the phone , especially in the evening if I was out of town, the would have the police looking for me as they know I don’t go out at night. I can’t just make up some friend out of the blue as they know none of my friends have money to travel.

  421. Gordon says:

    Justme, welcome to the blog.

Lisa, any true sd can fly to Houston and meet you in a public place. Tell him that is your requirement.

  422. lisa says:

Thanks Gordon I agree and it bothers me that he keeps mentioning his profession in every email. I have met alot of wealthy individuals in my lifetime and have found that most of them don’t boast about their positions. I already know what he does from his profile so it’s not necessary for him to keep mentioning it.

  423. Brown Sugar says:

lisa im not a pro but i def would not go for that and like Gordon said have him come to your turf

  424. lisa says:

I sent him a nice email saying that I prefer the first meeting occur in my city being that I will not fly somewhere to meet a stranger. Haven’t heard back yet. I will never compromise my safety as i have no money or credit cards to get me back home or pay for a room if I find myself in a bad situation and it’s not like you are going to call your parents. my parents believe anyone who does this sort of thing or has sex outside of marriage deserves to be murdered so it’s not like I could ask for their help.

  425. lisa says:

i got a very short email back just saying he understood and mentioned the type of cell phone he was using, which really makes no sense

  426. lisa says:

got another message emphasizing his phone
Please tell me how i should respond, I’m lost here

  427. lisa says:

Gordon are you there? Anyone, should I ignore him or respond and how to I respond to the last message, he just said he understood

  428. JustMe says:

    Lisa,

I think he is mentioning his carrier, probably thinks you are using a cell also and if it’s the same carrier, it might not be considered a long distance call.

    hope this helps!

    BTW … Thanks Gordon! ;)

  429. Brown Sugar says:

does anyone know hot the premium thing work on here is it a one time fee or a monthly fee

  430. lisa says:

Justme he is mentioning his brand of phone and i’m on a laptop. He just asked for more photos so I think he’s a picture collector.

Brown Sugar, it’s a 30-day thing and it doesn’t automatically renew. And believe me at the end of day 30, your membership goes back to standard.
    every 30 days it costs

  431. lisa says:

oh and the guy who keeps mentioning his phone is not the same one that wants me to call him, that is a different sd. I have two potentials that are not going to work I dont think.

  432. lisa says:

I have a land line with no long distance and a prepaid cell phone which I can’t afford to use.

  433. Gordon says:

Lisa, I’m still here. You might give him overnight then ask him to clarify if he is considering going to meet you.

Also the puzzling cell phone reference. Is he married and doesn’t want your number listed on the phone bill?

  434. JustMe says:

Hmmm Lisa, I would have to agree with you… sounds like a flake! I wouldn’t send any more pics .. I’m sure he’s seen what you look like already.

  435. Brown Sugar says:

Thanx lisa well is it WORTH UPGRADING FOR THE 3O DAYS?

  436. lisa says:

Brown Sugar to tell you the truth, No, I got no more response, more views but no more emails and actually the two sds I am now talking to contacted me the day after my premium membership expired.

Gordon the first guy is married and gave me his number but I can’t call because I don’t have long distance service and can’t afford it

the second guy is the one that is emailing me from his phone and keeps mentioning the type of phone, he is supposudly single. I find it odd also that he has so much free time , his time is his own he says although he works in a very demanding field. My lover has this same phone and emails me from it all the time and the type of phone is not mentioned in the email so i know it’s not just some automatic thing.

  437. Gordon says:

I am going to say goodnight to everyone.

    Hugs

  438. lisa says:

    Good night Gordon

  439. Gail says:

It depends Brown Sugar…I myself have never been a premium member. I have had some pretty good experiences. Very little bad experiences. You may try it and decide for yourself.

  440. lisa says:

I dont’ think it really matters because if a sd is seriously looking for a sb he will most likely do a search in his area and all sbs show up, both prem and standard.
    Good evening Gail

Well I guess that sd disappeared since I can’t send any more pics

I might give the other one my phone number tomorrow and let him call me but again his use of the English language makes me wonder

  441. Gail says:

Give him a chance Lisa:) Take a walk on the wild side…at least you are not outside at nite in the dark..(smile) A phone call would be perfect for you to start. Hope it goes well for you!!!

  442. Atalanta says:

I think it’s worth the 30 days, brown sugar!

I don’t think I’ll be needing the next 30 days though, so I haven’t upgraded.
It’s always nice to see who’s looking at your profile.

But I’m pretty sure I got a lot more profile hits when I was at a standard membership than premium…Not cool. lol

  443. ~*kittylainy*279647*~ says:

    Brown Sugar

    Re:premium membership
The first week or so of signing up to premium, your profile gets pushed to the top of the list. Therefore you get more e-mails and gradually, as more people sign up, you slowly get bumped down the list. Thus, your e-mails/views decrease. But when your account expires, you get pushed to the top like a “new” basic member. Hence the increase in views/e-mails again. I find it works best for me to alternate being a premium and not. It keeps the cycle of e-mails coming. A lot of SBs wait until a new pic, or a new profile description before becoming a premium. Then your profile always seems “NEW” to SDs in your target market. So someone that saw your profile and passed on it, might see it again and reconsider.

  444. BettieGirlDD*273192 says:

Brown Sugar I’m glad I gave upgrading a whirl.. sometimes it’s too much info to see whos viewed your profile and hasnt written.. but it puts you higher up in SD’s searches.

Anyone heard from KingofMuses lately? like travelling (sic)?

  445. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

    Bettie owes me a martini!!!!!

  446. Brown Sugar says:

thanx KITTY AND BETTIE i just upgraded myself to premium

  447. Zeiser says:

I agree with you 99% but wonder if you have really looked at the whole picture. DOn’t mean to be critical just food for thought.
